Very enjoyable family holiday in October 2008

Review Submitted: January 1, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2008
I have a wife and two young children and we had a great holiday in this villa. We felt this villa was most suitable as it is spacious, clean and attractive - as well as being convenient to the swimming pools, and a supermarket. We also really liked the scenic area where the villa was located, and it is only a short walk into the nearby town, Nerja. Nerja has lovely restaurants, and all the family enjoyed going to the beautiful beach, which is five minutes drive away.

We stayed in this lovely villa in late September and found it well maintained in a great location, positioned between the delights of Nerja and beautiful beaches to the west. It was exactly as described and I would stronghly recommend it to friends as a great family holiday.

We had a wonderful weekend in may. It was a girls' long weekend and the villa suited us perfectly. plenty of speace, well equipped, clsoe to the pool and private for sunbathing. It was easy to get to the bars and restaurants of the town either walking or by taxi which are readily available.
I had the fun of staying in the room that leads onto the pretty garden which was very comfortable and private.

Highly recommended - in fact we hope to go back again next year.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY IN SEPTEMBER 2007

STRATHBLANE VANCOUVER
Review Submitted: December 8, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
Casa Noreen came up to expectations and more. It is a most comfortable family villa which we appreciated. It is very spacious and airy. We loved having meals outside on the pretty patio with the scent of jasmine in the air. The bedrooms are all most comfortable.

It is situared in a convenient spot as we could walk to pick up groceries and restaurants are a step away. We loved the beaches nearby. It is so easy to travel to beauty spots of interest or to drive to many golf courses in the vicinity.

We look forward to returning soon.

We had a great holiday in Casa Noreen in May this year, El Capistrano is so pretty (masses of flowers set against whitewashed walls) and so carefully looked after, it was a pleasure to sit back and take it all in. The house is right beside the pools, with a gate from the garden opening very close to the children's pool and very handy for the well stocked little shop (great if you need more croissants in the middle of breakfast!).

We walked into Nerja most evenings for supper - great choice of restaurants - several near the Balcon with stunning sea views - its a 15 minute down hill walk in and we usually got a taxi back for €5. (We also discovered we could get a taxi in minutes by ordering for €1 from the little bar in El Capistrano).

We also went to the beach nearby - very relaxing with the children - big beach, playground, lots of casual child friendly restaurants and the fabulous AYO's, serving amazing paella.

The house is very well equiped. Both bedrooms upstairs are very spacious with lots of storage and share a good bathroom with very pretty Spanish tiles. The kitchen has all mod cons including the essential dishwasher. There is a good dining room but we ate outside. The third bedroom is off the garden which gives it good privacy and it has its own good bathroom. This suited us very well and we also found the owner to be most charming and helpful with lots of great suggestions when we asked about a special restaurant for a birthday celebration. I would definitely think of going back for a return stay.

Great Villa in Excellent Location

We stayed in this fine spacious villa in October 2008 and were very pleased with its facilities and location. Everything was in accord with the owner's description and, with the help of the efficient maid service was in a good state of maintainance. Two swimming pools and the El Capistrano restaurant are virtually on the doorstep, and lovely beaches nearby provided good swimming and excellent lunches.
We can thoroughly recommend this property and found dealing with the owner straight forward and efficient.

Great October 2008 Holiday

Gandog Scotland
Review Submitted: October 21, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
Unlike the last reviewer, I found the property description very accurate, and it clearly states that the third bedroom (very pleasant with its own bathroom) is accessed from the garden. It is excellent for anyone except small children. The rest of the house has clearly been planned with children in mind - stair gates, etc.

The property is very attractive, practical and in excellent condition, and perfectly situated close to the swimming pools and restaurant while remaining private. Capistrano Village is a beautifully designed and maintained mature development. It is a fairly easy walk to the centre of Nerja with plentiful good restaurants, shops etc.

We found the proprietor perfectly charming and very helpful.

We had an extremely enjoyable time. We had no grumbles whatsoever - except perhaps with the weather on our last three days.

My holiday of July 2007

If you are a family, please be aware the third bedroom is situated under the main house, which you access via the garden. The owner will tell you this after you have paid the full amount. After which she does not want to know your argument. We booked this villa thinking we could put our children in separate bedrooms, but this just was not possible. The villa is very spacious and ideally situated for the pool, but the third bedroom is only suitable for people you want to have privacy or keep separate. There are other two bedroom villas which our friends who holiday'd with us booked for three hundred pounds less per week and they were just as good.
