Our perfect family holiday - a real find.

This area of Spain is so beautiful and the setting of the villa is perfect. It is extremely private around the pool and on the terrace and brilliant for those of you with children who enjoy jumping in and out all day while you read, relax and sunbathe. The villa is well equipped, spacious and has an extremely large balcony with lovely views down towards the sea - perfect for lunch. Just around the corner is the train station which provides a cheap and reliable service up and down the coast from Malaga to Fuengirola. If you don't feel like venturing too far from the villa, Torremuelle has some very good restaurants and a small supermarket. I would gladly recommend this property to friends as long as they didn't want to go when we do!!! We have ensured that we get the weeks we want next year and rebooked which I think sums up what we felt was our perfect family holiday.

Nice quiet location

The Villa is located within 5mins walk to Torremuelle train station. (which runs every 30 mins). We had a car, however it's not esential if you use the train. It's only 10 minute into Torremolinos and runs up to 2245hrs. There are a few shops in the area for food and drink etc and the beach took appx 10 minutes to walk down to.

The villa itself had everything we need for a comfortable stay and the area felt quite save. The booking and communiation with the owner were excellent.I would more than likely book this villa again. Enjoyable holiday all round.

Great Villa

Review Submitted: October 4, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We have just returned from a great week in this lovely villa. A welcome pack was there for us on arrival and as we didnt arrive til after 10pm this was more than welcome! The villa is right beside the train station, a downhill walk of 5mins or less and the trains are ALWAYS on time, every half an hour going either way, Malaga or Fuengirola. The kwik save is very handy and just a bit further than the train station. The views from the villa are gorgeous, pool lovely and refreshing. The villa has everything you could need. It is not very busy in the area so I would not recommend this to a young group. It was perfect for what we wanted, a lovely relaxing week away. Thanks Clive!

Fab 4 days in march

Review Submitted: August 8, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Sorry it has taken so long to write. We stayed at the villa in march and spent 4 great days there. Its very easy to get to, there was a welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived which had all the essentials things in. The owner of the villa has two great people Christine and Pete who sort out any problems that may arise, they were fantastic. The train that ran nearby was a godsend and we used it everyday. We would recommend this to anybody looking for a great holiday. We will hopefully be coming back next year in the summer with our daughter and hopefully the pool will be a bit warmer. Overall we had a fantastic time and carnt wait to book again. love from mark and jacqui, hull.east yorkshire.

Delightful Conveniently located Private Villa

Nancy and Co West Midlands
Review Submitted: June 10, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We (my sister, mother and myself) have enjoyed a relaxing and yet interesting week at this lovely private villa. On arrival we met Christine and Peter who manage the villa, they could not have been more helpful. The villa was clean and tidy and had every thing we needed, It was lovely to just sit and relax on the balcony terrace with it's lovely views. The pool was crystal clear. We made full use of the local train, cheap travel and always on time!Taxi fare from Airport cost us 45euros, return journey by train 1.50euro each! We caught the train to Arroyo de La Miel, lovely shopping area with large Supermarket. From here you can visit Tivoli World and we took a ride on the cable car-breathtaking views.Just outside the railway station we caught a bus to Mijas (lovely Moorish town-collect map from Mijas information office for tourist attractions) Bonanza Square is a short walk from Arroyo Station, plenty of bars,Chinese, Indian & tapas restaurants. We really enjoyed Benalmadena Marina- well worth a visit with the beautiful buildings, designer shops and lots of interesting stalls along the nearby promenade. You can catch the Malaga tour bus from the marina, unfortunately we ran out of time but we will do it on our next visit. On our last day we took the train to Fuengirola then caught a connecting bus to Marbella (about an hour journey but worth it) and had lunch at the Marina. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday villa and hope to return soon.

Holiday April 2009

Aardvark Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Review Submitted: May 14, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Myself & two friends have just had a very enjoyable holiday. The villa is well equiped & has everything you need. The train station is close by & the trains are every every 30 minutes . You can laze by the pool in the sun all day & go into the busier resorts in the evening if you wish to enjoy the hustle & bustle. There is a street market on Fridays, just a short train journey which sells everything.

If you need anything Christine & Peter (the managers) are only too happy to oblige.

I would recommend this to my friends.

Our Enchanting Week

Review Submitted: November 26, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
We enjoyed a wonderful week at the villa. The caretakers of the villa were the greatest and very helpful. Without them we would have missed seeing some nice places. The villa was very clean, the lounge actually looks nicer then in the picture on the net, it has different furniture now.
The pool was sparkling clean with a lot of nice lounging chairs with new cushions. Parking was no problem at all. The flowers in the garden were beautiful and made for great pictures. The kitchen was well equiped and a grill outside. The view of the beautiful sunrise off the balcony every morning made it worth every pound we paid, you don't get views like that from Missouri in the USA.

Home from Home Villa

Review Submitted: July 4, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We have just returned from a very relaxing 2 week holiday at this villa and have had a brilliant time. The Villa has everything that you would expect plus many more extras which makes it a perfect home from home especially if you want to do a little home cooking. We did venture out most evenings to the larger resorts which are only a short train ride away (approx 2 euro return fare) the station is just 5 mins walk away and you can have a drink in the nearby hotel while waiting for the train. This is the first villa holiday that the have had without hiring a car and we didn't miss it at all as the area is served very well with public transport. One very important thing to mention is that the Owner has a local couple Pete and Christine who look after the Villa, they are worth their weight in Gold, nothing is too much trouble for them and they have great local knowledge for Bars and Restaurants in the area. We would deffinately recomment this villa to all of our friends and family. The area is very quiet at night so very good for sleeping.

Charming Villa in Torremuelle

F&C M Edinburgh, Scotland
Review Submitted: June 5, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2007
The villa is situated in a lovely location with an open outlook and panoramic views of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The property has substantial outdoor areas including equal amounts of shaded and unshaded areas. The gardens are charming and full of colour. The villa is comfortably furnished and well equipped. The kitchen is well supplied with utensils and electrical goods. The extra WC upstairs is useful-on the same level as the patio and pool. Although the house is well served with transport services, we like to hire a car and travel to larger supermarkets and drive through surrounding areas (often in the mountains ) to restaurants. The locality where the villa is situated is attractive with sea views and colourful plants in the surrounding properties.
A useful addition for us would be to have the swimming pool heated as we tend to go off season and it is cold. However this would not be necessary in the high season.
We have visited the house several times since the children were very young and they are now 13 and 16 years and still enjoy it as much. It is granny friendly too! (if not infirm.) My husband and myself often take my mother along and she has a great time too.
Cable car well worth a visit-it can be seen from the villa on the side of one of the mountains.

HOLIDAY HEAVEN

Review Submitted: June 4, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2007
We have been enjoying this superb villa as a 2nd home every year for the last 9 years, sometimes 2/3 times a year (a recommendation in itself). Private and peaceful and well equiped with all the conveniences you would expect in an ideal holiday home, including TV etc and private pool. Bright, spacious and clean accomodation with fabulous sea and mountain views from the balcony and terraces. Centrally located on Costa del Sol and therefore perfect for visiting the nearby coastal towns of Benalmadena. Fuengirola, Torremolinos etc and beyond. We certainly make regular use of the local (cheap) buses and trains (station 5 minutes walk) which run regularly, often and on time. The fabulous Costa del Sol coastline is literally 10 minutes walk with supermarket, bars and restaurants all nearby. The Welcome pack of food etc is always freshly provided for our arrival by the owners British management team who live locally and who clean the whole of the Villa and pool area weekly as well as change all bedlinen and towels etc. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Some internet sites don't match up to the descriptions but this villa actually exceeds it. Satisfaction guaranteed and roll on the next visit!
