Perfect spot, cute condo!

Three of us stayed here for a week in December, and loved it. The condo was bright, clean, and felt spacious enough for three. The bedroom area has a pocket door which can be closed for privacy. The air conditioning was powerful. The bathroom was modern and clean, with plenty of hot water for long showers after a day of rain forest hiking or touring Old San Juan. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, utensils, coffeepot, even a blender. The bed was comfortable and large enough for two people to share. The futon was not super comfortable, but what futon is? Also, there is some audible "city noise" at night from the neighborhood below. It was not a problem for me, being from a city, but a set of earplugs would be an easy solution if needed. We enjoyed starting each morning with breakfast/coffee on the large balcony. We also took advantage of the private pool - it's a quiet, beautiful setting complete with fancy teak lounge chairs and a whirlpool for tired muscles! Beach access was easy too. It's literally across the street, and the waves in the morning are awesome - perfect for bodysurfing. The condo location was a bonus! There are tons of cute restaurants and shops, right outside the front door. After long days of touring/excursions, it was so nice to come home, freshen up, and be able to walk right outside and get dinner. We ate in the neighborhood almost every night, and were never disappointed. There is also a local fruit market in walking distance, where we picked up fresh mangos and grapefruit for breakfast. The bus stop to Old San Juan is less than a block away, which made transportation to and from the old city very convenient and economical. The front desk can also call taxis if needed. Tours will pick you up across the street at the Marriott. And the Walgreens on the corner came in very handy, for groceries, sunscreen, etc. I can't say enough about this condo/location. I would definitely stay again!
