Do go!

This beautiful, well-equipped apartment perfected our first trip to New York. Coming from a cottage in the woods in the UK, we were thrilled at the opportunity of experiencing modern New York living with the most marvellous city views from every window.

There is all of Manhattan to explore, on foot, or with easy access to bus and subway.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

I've made many trips to NYC over the years and always stayed in a hotel when doing so. You know the drill, $250 a night for a 225 sq foot room that you don't look forward to coming back to or spending any time in. However, for this trip my wife suggested getting a condo, and I'm sure glad we did. Dave's condo is about 750 sq ft and is perfect in just about every way. There is plenty of room, everything is modern, clean, and the views are amazing. You can see the river, Empire State Building, glow of Times Square, and more from the floor to ceiling windows of this amazing unit.

More importantly with something like this is the service from the owner. From the moment I inquired about this apartment, to the time I dropped the keys back in the mail, there was just a sense of professionalism. I inquired about several other apartments on HomeAway, but never got the same feeling that I got with Dave.

For those of you that haven't been to NYC, or don't know NYC that well, the apartment is between 8th and 9th on 42nd street. Times Square is just 1 1/2 blocks down the road along with easy access to the A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, S, 7, 1, 2, and 3 subway lines. Basically you can get anywhere in NYC pretty easily from massive subway hub station right out your front door. If you are coming to town for what most tourists come into NYC for: Broadway Shows, great food, visiting sights, and the buzz of NYC, then this apartment is for you.

Next time I come to NYC, this will be my first choice of where to stay. In fact, I enjoyed this unit so much, that I will try and work my schedule around open dates just so I can stay here again. I don't normally take the time to fill out a review, but I was so happy with this experience and Dave's service that I felt compelled to do so. Do yourself a favor - book this unit!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week-long visit. The apartment is exactly as depicted including pictures of the panoramic views. As a first-time visitor to New York, the apartment was ideally located in Manhattan, easily within walking distance to Times Square, Broadway shows, the Shopping District, Central Park, etc. Can't imagine staying in a hotel in NYC after this ... it was like coming back to your own home every evening.

The owner was very helpful in all aspects of the trip. Clean, tasteful, upscale, safe, ... very glad we chose this accommodation.

We stayed for 11 nights in this beautiful, well furnished and well equipped corner apartment with amazing views in all directions. The building is nearly brand new and very modern, with a 24 hour door man, concierge at the desk and very good security.

It is a great location just west of Times Square with everything you need nearby. A grocery store, the subway, and bakeries are just steps away. All the great restaurants along 9th Avenue are at your feet and restaurant row on 46th Street is only a short walk. But above all, the owners are friendly and extremely accessible. They truly strive to make your stay an enjoyable one.

We stayed in this apartment for 7 nights in November 08 and were not disappointed. The apartment itself is clean and modern, with a fantastic view over the area. The staff were friendly and the location perfect for access to Times Square and Broadway. The neighbourhood is great with many excellent restaurants nearby. David was great to deal with and provided some good advice on places to go/things to see in the area. I would not think twice about staying here again. Thank you so much!

We had an incredible time in New York, in large part because of the location, comfort, and amazing views from every window of the apartment. The wonderful ideas for exploring given to us by David and Melissa enriched our time on our vacation. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful week in the beautiful condo in the heart of the theater district. It is tastefully decorated.

We had a cross town bus stop in front of the building and a metro station at the end of the block. It was easy walking to the theaters and great restaurants.

Every morning we enjoyed our coffee, NY times and a view of the Hudson River from our table at the window. We were there for a week and hated to leave. We hope to return soon.
