Reviews of Property: Limited Time Only- Was $225, Now $185 ! New Luxurious Oceanfront Hideaway!

We visited Kona and stayed at the Banyan Tree Sept 18th-25th, 2009. The place is gorgeous! The view was better than we imagined. Everyday, we watched the surfers. We would count how many surfers were out there! Several days we watched the cruise ships passing by. The sunsets are spectacular! It was so amazing and relaxing! We didn't want to leave!

It was such a pleasant experience dealing with Candace (the owner) and making the reservations! Thank you Candace.

This is the best place we've stayed in Kona. My family and I have stayed at Kona Reef, Kona Bali Kai, and Kona Royal Sea Cliff to name a few and they don't remotely compare. Here, I sit as I write a mere 50 feet from the water full of sea turtles-Wow! We've also stayed at the Hilton Waikaloa and no way, I'll take this hands down! I am a definite repeat!! I love it here!! This is truly a beautiful condo, beautifully furnished and has many extras to make your stay great. It is obvious the owners take great pride in their place in paradise. The view is absolutely awesome and sitting on the lanai watching the surfers, boats & turtles was so relaxing. There were 6 adults in our group and those that stayed in the 2nd bedroom did have difficultly sleeping because of the traffic noise (the bedroom is on the street side of the condo) so if you are using this bedroom you might consider bringing earplugs. The owner is very pleasant to deal with and the rental process is done very professionally.

You're on the ocean. The pictures don't represent a zoomed camera shot. You're right there. You hear it all day, all night. It puts you to sleep. The pool is under your balcony. It's quiet. The whole place has been remodeled. The condo is awesome.....my wife and I were absolutely thrilled when we got there. Clean, beautifully decorated, and the owners obviously take great pride in their home away from home. It's got everything you need. Only 2 1/2 miles from great snorkeling. Only a couple miles from town. A small neighborhood grocery is across the street. Surfers all day long. We saw whales, cruise ships, and sunsets all from our balcony. We can't say enough. By far the nicest vacation condo we have ever stayed in! The furnishings, kitchen and baths are incredible. The ocean is so close you could see the fish in the water. What a value for the $. We will be back next year, and the year after that.

Absolutely lovely. A lovely, well furnished condo with fantastic views. Everything you need for a great holiday is provided. We had such a relaxing holiday. In fact, we had such a lovely stay that we didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.
