Winter getaway extrordinaire

LWS London, Ontario
Review Submitted: June 5, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Our family rented this property for a skiing March break holiday. The house is spectacularly appointed and very comfortable. The hot tub is clean and a welcome encounter at the end of a skiing day. Close to Canmore and Banff - there is good shopping, site seeing, and restaurants for your dining pleasure...and the kitchen itself is very well appointed and meals there are a pleasure to prepare as well. The driving distance to Sunshine resort or even Lake Louise is quite manageable and the scenery is spectacular - including a wolf that appeared regularly on the road at dusk, and regular viewings of herds of elk. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday enhanced by the surroundings that we came home to. In March there were not many other residents around in this development - so your have to be comfortable with knowing you are somewhat isolated....for our family this was a bonus. I imagine the complex itself is busier at other times of the year.
If you are looking for a lovely place to relax, that is appointed with all the fixtures you have come to enjoy in a luxury hotel...fine linens....puffy bathrobes....surround sound .....and gas fireplaces....bring your own wine and settle into a little piece of heaven.

Beautiful in February

Group of 8 Alberta
Review Submitted: May 24, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
This condo was amazing!
In our group there were 4 couples and with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there was more than enough room. Luxurious is what this house is, everything is top of the line. The hot tub was just what the doctor ordered after an entire day on the mountain! The technology was awesome with the surround sound throughout the house (even in the master bathroom). From the appliances to the terry cloth robes...everything was perfect. This house has so many pros, I can't list them all. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

This was a trip to remember!

Winter Woderland

Sr. Conde' San Jose Costa Rica
Review Submitted: January 9, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
Christmas in the Rockies was a Winter Wonderland and the accommodations were exquisite!! This condo has it all and for a family gathering it could not be beat. Beautiful Art, Appliances, & Accessories made the stunning views even more enjoyable. Located in the pristine Canadian Rockies, skating, skiing and winter walks were the order of the day, topped off with an outdoor hot tub and fire while enjoying state of the art electronics and entertainment systems.

A trip of a lifetime, in the style of your life!!

Enjoy!!

August Vacation 2008

Mammy and Grandpa Lubbock, TX/ USA
Review Submitted: August 14, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
What a delightful place it was for our family of 8 adults and one baby to spend a week together. The house was well appointed, sparkly clean and more than accomodating. All the ammenities -- like Egyptian cotton sheets and towels and terry cloth robes for everyone -- were icing on the cake. Actually I can't say it any better than the February 2008 reviewer. It is a lovely home with plenty of room for everybody, and it has gorgeous views. We enjoyed a day trip to Lake Louise, lunching at the Fairmont Hotel and shopping in Banff. Another day 6 of our group went on an exciting river rafting excursion that lasted all day. Several in our party golfed a couple of different days. But often we found ourselves sitting in the comfortable living room (or on the deck) enjoying conversation with one another. Other times we would watch a movie or relax in the hot tub. Dining at The Iron Goat and at Murietta's in downtown Canmore were especially pleasant. I'm a knitter who loved visiting the Knit and Caboodle Yarn Shop. The lady there was most friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this summer vacation spot to anyone who wants a balance of sightseeing and relaxation. Oh, and because the kitchen was so well equipped, we were able to make cooking a few evening meals a family affair.

Fantastic holiday home with every home comfort !

The description and photos of this house do not do this beautiful mountain home justice. The property has had no expense spared on its furniture and fittings with everything in this home is well maintained and spotlessly clean . Attention to detail like the house having surround sound so you can even listen to your favourite songs in the shower, walk in wardrobe, twin sinks laundry on the upstairs landing ,large bath, huge walk in showers all added to our holiday experience. Myself and another family spent 10 fabulous days in this property in February 2008 we had 4 children who had lots of space to enjoy themselves in a media room in the basement which is home to a giant t.v. There are no photos of this room but it definitely has the wow factor! This room alone could have sold me on the house as from here you have access to a huge hot tub essential after a hard day skiing with your children safely in sight enjoying their favourite programs on t.v. The house has views from the two main bedrooms and living area of the surrounding mountains which are breathe taking to wake up to on a morning and the aspect of this house gives it the best views on the estate. This is a property i would return to year after year as the owner was very helpful and organised with information on the house, local restaurants, activities and local skiing hire shops which saved us valuable time and money on our arrival. This house provided us with an excellent base for our skiing holiday with everything we needed mountains ,shops, restaurants and anything else we want such as ice skating, pictures spas all within a short drive. Best all round holiday we have had in all the time we have been skiing and hope to go back soon!

Great house in a beautiful location!

An easy 1 hour drive from Calgary airport, this luxury home is beautifully situated on the edge of prestigious golf course & against the dramatic backdrop of the stunning 3 sisters mountains behind. This ideal location is just 20 minutes drive from Banff and gives easy access to the stunning national parks which spread across the Canadian Rockies. The marketing photos are an accurate representation of the delightful house we enjoyed with our family including 3 yougsters. Well appointed, with no expense spared throughout on all mod cons to ensure a thoroughly entertaining, yet relaxing break enjoyed by us all. Thanks Mike!
