Reviews of Property: Luxurious Beach House

My boyfriend and I rented this cottage the first weekend in February, and it was amazing. We were just looking for a cottage not too far from home to spend a week away. I just wanted a fireplace and a comfortable chair to read in. My boyfriend wanted a tv. We were more than satisfied with the two fireplaces and three tvs. The living room is gorgeous, and is the perfect location to sit and relax. The kitchen is fully functional, and so nice that we made dinner almost every night instead of going out. The master bathroom is wonderful, as it has the whirlpool tub. The master bedroom is fantastic, and so comfortable! We knew we had hit the jackpot the moment we walked in the door. The cottage was spotless, and already nice and warm. We found it to be a nice touch that someone had already turned on the heat for us! Overall, the vacation was nothing short of perfect. The owner was more than accommodating, as he even called to make sure we were settling in nicely. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a gorgeous cottage to spend time away in. It's the perfect place for a romantic, and relaxing getaway! We hope to stay again sometime.

Our family of 13 - 4 generations ranging from 1yr to 88 yrs -had a great weekend at this lovely, clean, bright home.
With plenty of beds and 3 bathrooms we didn't feel at all crowded.
We started our weekend meeting for lunch at the Schoolhouse Restaurant - a very nice spot to eat.
With folding chairs we'd brought along, we were able to get all 13 of us around the table for the rest of our meals and
the kitchen was supplied with plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils etc. - everything one might need to make meals for large families.
The walk in closet in the master suite was perfect for my grandson's playpen so he slept in his own little 'room'. The older children loved walks to see the frozen lake and enjoyed watching movies in the basement.
We loved sitting by the fireplace chatting and playing games.
Only criticism - my elderly Mom couldn't get downstairs for movies & popcorn.

We rented this cottage at the end of January 2009, for a ladies weekend. It was a winter wonderland and we were cozy and comfortable in this lovely 6 bedroom home. It is the perfect retreat for our group of 8. It was very clean and everything we needed right there. The owner was very easy to deal with and very accomodating to our requests.
We spend alot of time cooking on these weekends and the open kitchen/dining/living room concept was a bonus, to keep every one together. The kitchen was well prepared for our gourmet cooks. Perfect for a large group!

We have been renting cottages in Grand Bend for a few years now but can honestly say that this was our favorite. The beach associated with this cottage was fantastic and the best beach hands downs for kids of any age.

The cottage itself is beautifuly and very well maintained. We definitely got our money's worth. It can very comfortably accomodate large families or a group of friends.

We rented this cottage so that we might accommodate our large family and have a vacation at the beach. The home is so lovely and comfortable with every ammenity you could ever need for a vacation!

The cottage is extraordinarily maintained and alot of pride taken by the owner in this beautiful home. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away...to the fabulous Lake Huron. Our children played at the beach and in the home as everything was very family friendly. There are an enormity of things to do for all ages. We even travelled to nearby Bayfield for some shopping and lunch!

In booking vacation rentals, we are always concerned about the person from whom we rent. Brian was upfront, honest and very flexible. You couldn't ask for a nicer man to deal with. We will absolutely return to Grand Bend and when we come, we will stay at this home...if it's available of course!

We have been staying in cottages in Grand Bend for 12 years and really loved this cottage. The cottage had a great number of bedrooms for our family and the dining seating was very good as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the air conditioning was enjoyable after a day at the beach.

The location was very quite and private and is located fairly close to the lake.

We rented the cottage as a group of 14 for a weekend, and had no trouble with space. The cottage is amazing, with a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood.
It was exactly what we were looking for, and will most certainly rent the property again!
