It was a very difficult time deciding on where to stay when traveling to Aruba. We had 6 people in our group, all with different thoughts of what the perfect place to stay should be. The Big Beach House of the Water was more than ideal for us. Everything was exactly as described online. The location couldn’t have been better! Each morning we jogged up to the light house. There was no need to pack a cooler to go to Malmok beach! When we were thirsty we walked 500 feet to our house! Literally across the street to what seemed like our own private beach with palm tree umbrellas...we did cannonball jumps off the rocks and snorkeled while finding treasures in the beautiful crystal clear waters! We watched cruiseships come in the distance, and fishing boats bring in the catch of the day, all while enjoying coffee from the porch. It was also great after swimming in the ocean to rinse off in the outdoor shower. I cannot even begin to describe the gorgeous sunsets each night, also viewed from the porch. This home actually offered more than what was listed. It was great to use the library of books, rafts, coffee pot, and even candles! The suggestions given by Kanan were true to his word, the Lighthouse restaurant was one of our best meals of the week with an added bonus of steal drum music, the car rental service even drove us back to the airport, Jennifer kept everything in order – we don’t know how she get the towels so soft, and Alfred was waiting for us with keys in hand. We highly recommend this house! Thank you Kanan for sharing with us, the memories we made are fantastic!

We were looking for a nice place to stay alst minute and Kanan was kind enough to help us out. He was quick to respond and was well informed wit hall details about the island.
The beach was amazing and everything was just like he said at hand reach. You cross the street and you could jump in the water. Waking up in the morning and enjoying the calmness and even at night the sunsets were mesmerizing.
Thanks for everything and next year we will be back this time with out the other couple. Just the two of us to enjoy complete relaxation.

Our Aruba Trip

The house was everything I expected. It was clean, in a beautiful location, and very spacious. The beach out front was amazing. It is great for snorkeling and just relaxing under the straw huts. The water was clear compared to some of the other water on the island. The beach is very close to the house which was very convenient. Kane was the best. He was very accomodating and friendly. Anything we needed he was there to take care of. We ate out a couple of night and the restuarants in town were great. Also,there were some men in our group so they loved that there were many casinos not too far from the house. One of the best parts of our trip were renting ATVs and riding the island. The views and everything were breath taking. Overall, we all loved our vacation in Aruba including the house and Kane. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and actually I already did. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy the island and house again in the near future. Thanks again Kane!

Our family of six stayed in this great spacious house and had a wonderful vacation. The location is perfect, as if we had our own private beach. We snorkled every day and just played in the beautiful water. The housekeeper, Jennifer was meticulous and easy to be around. We spent our honeymoon in Aruba 27 years ago and were so surprised at how developed the island has become - which we felt a bit sad about. We made a few dinners at the house and ventured to restaurants the other nights. One favorite was Pelican's Nest which is right on the water. We watched a gorgeous sunset while we had fresh seafood. We have already recommended this property to some friends and are jealous that we will not be going with them.

Well i was met and greeted from a very nice young man named javier. He gave me copies of all surrounding activities and markets, casinos and a cpl of fun night clubs to go to. The beach across the street is the most sought out area for snorkling on the island. It has a white sand beach entry from one side that was just breathtaking. The sunsets every night made this the most memorable vacation Ive had in years with my wife. The house was attended to everyday from a team of very good housekeepers that went out of their way to mke us feel more comfortable. The owner set us up with a great car rental that picked us up at the airport and made things so easy for us . My family and I enjoyed ourselves without any headache from the day we arrived on the 10 of may to the 21st of may of this year. It was sunny and hot everyday, but all you have to do is walk across the street and jump in the water and swim the most incredible clear water ever !!!!!!!!!!!! You should definitely go jet skiiing on the water in aruba to see all of the different fish around . I highly recommend to stay at this house and you will have no worries . They really make things easy for you . Especially barbequeing on the big grill at the house in front of the beach everyday.
What a vacation 1/10/09 to 1/17/09

There were 3 couples in our group, and three children ranging in age from 20 months to 4 years of age. This house made our vacation great for both the adults and for the kids. The yard is completely fenced in making it totally kid safe from the beach and the street. Aside from being in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, this house is equipped with everything a family needs to go on vacation. We watched the sun set from the front patio every night! Only back in Boston for two days, and we are already trying to decide what week to book for next year. Both the owner and the property manager are GREAT guys!!!! This was our 4th trip to Aruba, and it was by far the best! As long as this house is available for rent, we will never stay in a hotel in Aruba again.

Nice clean, well equipped house right across from a fantastic snorkeling location and beach. My kids, ages 19, 17 and 12 thought this was the best vacation they ever experienced. We would definitely rent the house again.

We had a great time in Aruba. This house was great. We had 8 people in our party including 4 teenagers. This house was just the right size for us. It had all the amenities one could ask for. It is located in Malmok, one of the nicest areas in Aruba. The best thing about the house was the water in front of it. It is one of the best snorkeling places in Aruba. All the tour operators bring their customers right in front of house to snorkeling. We did snorkeling atleast once a day during the week we stayed there. The house was very clean. There is excellent maid (Jennifer) service for everyday. She did everything for us except cooking. We would highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Aruba. If you plan to go to Aruba, take your snorkeling gear with you. You will be using it very often. We did other activites too, such as parasailing, jetskiing, tubing, windsurfing, 4 wheeling. Last but not the least, the owner is awesome and very responsive.

My wife and 3 kids stayed at Kanan's house at the beginning of June. Kanan really came through on making sure that it was everything that the pictures promised. The location was perfect. Our 21 year old hung out with us during the day and went to the nearby clubs at night. Our 11 and 10 year old went snorkeling and swimming across the street at the ocean during the day and comfortably played games and watched movies in the house with all of the comforts of home.
When we did not go out in the evenings to a fine restaraunt, we quickly learned the island and cooked or barbequed at home. By the time we left, we were already talking about when we might return. Aruba is beautiful and friendly on its own, the property made the trip much more memorable than staying at a hotel.

We stayed here the week of Aug 3, 2008. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It is in Makmok, one of the nicest areas on Aruba. In front of the house, the beach and water are spectacular. The owner, property manager, and maids were attentive to every need. We had a wonderful vacation here. It's highly recommended.
