Great House

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls have just returned from a superb three week stay in this lovely house.
All the details are totally accurate about the house. It has all the equipment required and was really well presented and clean. Arriving at the house was really easy and after a 24 hour journey to get to Poenix this was so important for us and very straightforward from the airport.
The pool was especially welcoming as the temperatures in July were easily reaching 120F/50C and the air conditioning and fans were really effective.
The house is really well located for easy access around the state and is close to a large number of shops and different restaurants. Whilst centrally located it really was peaceful and private and we would thoroughly recommend it.
Laura was really easy to deal with and very prompt in all communications and return of the deposit - also very helpful with any queries.
We would also like to thank Laura and Don for all their help and assistance and would have no hesitation in re-booking should we return to southern Arizona.

We had a wonderful time in Surprise! Weather was perfect! This was the first time we rented a home and we were quite pleased with the outcome. The home was exactly the way it appeared in the pictures, very clean and nicely furnished. Nice size swimming pool and huge big back yard. Very quiet neighborhood and the location couldn't have been more ideal. Restaurants, golf courses, shopping, Cubs games, were all within easy reach. We took a 2 1/2 hr drive to Sedona and loved it, stopped at Montezuma's Castle and Well, which was well worth the ride. Parked over on a road off of Litchfield, near the Air Force Base one morning and watched the F-14's take off and land, very exciting experience! Recommend: JB's in Sun City Grand for Friday Night all you can eat Fish Fry, Mimi's for breakfast, Rio Mirage and Abuelo's for Mexican food, great food and Margaritas! Thanks to the owners of this home for a wonderful time! Prompt return of the security deposit was another plus! We will definitely recommend to family and friends!
Owner's Response: The greatest thing about having a rental home in Arizona is our guests never say the weather was terrible or that there was nothing to do! If you are tired of the winter or you just need something to do, think about a stay in Arizona. I know just the place.
Exceeds Expectations!

This was my 8th annual trip to AZ for baseball spring training. I attend a majority of the games I see in Surprise so decided this year to stay in that area rather than driving across Phoenix every other day. I started out looking at hotels and almost revised my decision when I found HomeAway.com and checked into home rental.
Certainly glad I did! This rental was thousands times better than any of the other hotel/condo rentals I have done in the Phoenix area in past years. It was so convenient for what I needed to do. The home was one of the nicest, and most well maintained places I have ever stayed. You have the same and more amenities than you have at a hotel and the backyard was like having my own private resort minus all the other noisy guests! I too did more cooking than I usually do when vacationing but it was because there were days I just didn't feel the necessity to leave or it was much less expensive than purchasing ballpark food to eat.
There are a couple of grocery stores very close by and a great Mexican restaurant a 5-10 minute walk away, caught that one a couple of times. The area where this property is located is also conducive to maintaining any walking or running routines you may have, lots of green space and park area just down the block. Very quiet neighborhood.
And I can't say enough about how easy the rental process was. I would definately recommend this property to anyone! Laura, I will be contacting you soon to set up for next year, thanks for everything!!

Great stay in Surprise

My husband and I spent a great week in this house.
Weather was amazing. We enjoyed reading on this very private patio and taking a few dips in this great.
House was clean, large and beyond our expectations.
I cooked a lot during this week and I could find everything I was looking for in the kitchen.
Laura has been more than helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to somebody wishing to spend a week under the sun with full comfort.
I would recommend Sprouts farmer market for groceries, about 10 minutes away from home. They sell mainly health and organic food and a lot (including spices) is sold bulk. Great when you only need 2 tbs of each !
I would also recommend Blissful yoga, about 25 minutes away. They offer all levels, teachers are great and for $25 illimited yoga for 2 weeks, it's a great complement to sunbathing !.

Owner's Response: High fuel prices and the cost of dining out often times makes vacationing cost prohibitive. A vacation rental home allows you to prepare meals at home so you can spend your money on something fun and entertaining. Our home offers a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of space to prepare simple or gourmet meals. Please consider our home when you are planning your next trip to Arizona. Wonderful holiday rental

We spent just over three weeks in this ranch house, the pool was fantastic, the house was so comfortable, and the owners were wonderful. This was definitely home away from home for us coming from England.
Such a convenient location too, with loads of wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance.
This house had absolutely everything you would ever need in a vacation rental.

Owner's Response: Imagine flying for over 10 hours and having to sleep all together in a hotel room after you land....and one of them snores! Well you won't have to do that in a vacation rental home such as ours. Comfortable beds, your own room and plenty of room to spread out are what you get in your own home away from home. There were 4 of us visiting my young nephew who lives in Surprise, AZ. As all our past vacations, we automatically planned to look for a hotel in the area and would require two rooms.
One day while on the internet we stumbled upon this website and was amazed at the houses available for short term rental. Upon further research we found some that were available during our vacation period and sent out some email inquiries.
To our pleasure, Laura was one of the first to respond and from the start was nothing but helpful. Lots of information received in a timely manner, great price and great location - what more could we ask for?
When we made our way to the house on 9/6/08 (directions to the house and how to access the house were easy) we were simply amazed. While it was unlike our home in Hawaii it had everything that we could have asked for...and more! Too much to detail but it was like home away from home.
We made our way to the grocery store and when the bags were unpacked it was as if this beautiful rental was our home...and it was for the next two weeks. And...much to our delight...the house was just a mere 2 miles away from my nephew and his family. I dare ask - what more could we ask for?
This first experience renting a house versus staying at a hotel far exceeded our expectations. The professionalism and caring nature of Laura was truly a blessing and so very appreciated. We sincerely hope that all future rentals are like what we experienced.
Laura has set the bar high and we will definitely be back!
