We had a wonderful extended weekend here at Casa Alta. One outstanding feature is the outdoor living area. We dined outside one evening and opened some wine we had purchased during the day. It was so relaxing and comfortable. The beds are quite nice as well. It was absolutely perfect for a "Girl's Trip" but would surely be just as appropriate for couples. The location is great, and it is such fun to feel like a resident, even for just a few days. Casa Alta is a great base from which to enjoy Napa and Sonoma.

My family and I enjoyed our one week stay at Casa Alta. The house and backyard are even better than the pictures on the site. The neighborhood is quiet and close to markets and wineries.
A great stay!

Kiwis stay in Napa

We had a lovely few days in Napa at Belinda's lovely house. It was like a home away from home with everything that you could need. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the starry nights from the jacuzzi. We had a booking for 6 at the French Laundry and only 4 of us could go. Belinda went to the trouble of finding another couple to go with us as we were not allowed to downsize the booking. THANK YOU for this. What an experience that was. We all recommend Casa Alta for a relaxed way to enjoy the wonderful Napa Valley!

This property is exactly as described on VRBO. This is an older home just a brisk walk from downtown. We found it very convenient compared to others in the area for similar price. The home is in excellent condition for its age and has been remodeled. The backyard/courtyard was one of the highlights of the property. We enjoyed sitting at the outdoor Travertine table and lounging about. We never used the outdoor fireplace even though it would have been nice. It was a fantastic place for wine & cheese or home made dinner. The spa was very relaxing for 2, but could comfortably fit 4. The Home Owner was very friendly and EXTREMELY responsive.

Suggestions for the owner: There's only one TV (add one or more to the bedrooms). Additionally, add a shower in the half bath & blinds. We were concerned about 4 people sharing a 1.5 bath, but we coordinated well and there were no problems.

Clean, Classy and Carefree

From the begining, with a few email exchanges between the owner and myself, I felt extremely comfortable with my decision to stay at Casa Alta during our first Napa vacation. The owner was friendly, responsive and most importantly, helpful.

The house was even better in person, than it was in the pictures advertised. Every nook and cranny was clean and dust free... from the living room to the bathroom, the kitchen counters to the bath tub.

Although we were staying in someones rental house, it felt as if we were in a hotel. The bedrooms were stocked with down comforters, classy duvets and coverlets a top comfortable queen sized beds. The bathrooms with high-end towels. Even the kitchen had an excellent supply of cooking utensils for out lesiurely meals on the romantic back patio.

The back yard was separated into two sections - each with a 6' privacy fence. This helped greatly with keeping the dogs on one side (yes, we were even allowed to bring our dogs!) while we lounged and relaxed on the side with beautiful potted plants, landscaping, hot tub, and marble dining table set underneath a covered trellis. A few candles, grilled NY strip steaks and asparagus, fresh bread and olive oil and a nice bottle of wine, and we had an amazing setting for casual dinner at home.. I mean, on vacation.

This property is staying in my bookmarks and I'm sure to rent it again on our next Napa vacation, I'm also recommending it to others.

Wine country was great, but to be honest with you the highlight of the trip was Casa Alta!! I stayed there with 3 other adults and we could not have been more comfortable!! It was spotlessly clean upon our arrival, and had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay!! I would recommend a rental car, because for our group who were older and/or overweight, I wouldn't say things are necessarily in walking distance...although we never did take advantage of the cable cars. Casa Alta is by far the most charming and comfortable place I have ever stayed away from home!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place Belinda!!

We stayed at Casa Alta during the last weekend of January and really enjoyed it. This charming house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We love the antique furniture and the beds were very, very comfortable. The outdoor setting was beautiful though it was too cold for us to use but 2 of us enjoyed the hot tub. It was an easy walk to Copia and Downtown and we had a lovely Saturday. We all had a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Thank you very much, Belinda!
