Reviews of Property: Edinburgh city centre luxury 5 star Penthouse + parking. Sleeps 2 to 8

The accomodation was truly excellent, furnished to a very high standard and well decorated throughout. It was close to the city centre as promised, and there were numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. The owner was very prompt and attentive whilst booking, approachable and easily contactable for advice. This was an ideal location for four gents enjoying a few days golf and relaxing evenings providing just what we were looking for from our destination.

We spent 5 nights in The Penthouse in Edinburgh, and enjoyed the stay very much. The excellently located penthouse does not lack any convenience and is equipped with everything one could need for a stay in a foreign city. The Owners welcomed us with a nice basket full of Scottish specialities, and in the penthouse we found many helpful leaflets and travel books about Scotland and Edinburgh. As the penthouse is not only used as a holiday flat, it is equipped like a home, in the kitchen and in the living room.
The communication with the owners is very easy thruogh emali - with quick and very polite answers.

We recommend the penthouse to anyone who likes to visit Edinburgh.

This apartment is without question the best I have ever stayed in.

Superb location, excellent facilities which are understated by the descriptions of them! The owner was superb before, during and after the stay.

It is close enough to the city centre to walk but far enough away to be out of the throng of noisy bars etc.

This is an exceptional place to stay and I will be back!

I am always a little dubious when reading description of a holiday property but rest assured this one is very accurate.
The Penthouse is luxurious, clean ,well maintained and has all the home comforts you could ever need.
The owner of the property was so helpful from the initial booking right the way through to the end of our holiday.
I would recommend the property to anyone who wants to be in the centre of Edinburgh but yet able to self cater.
Edinburgh is an excellent destination for a weekend or a weeks holiday this was our third trip and still found new places to explore and restaurants to visit.

Always it bit nervous of booking some thing online or teletext, but this 5* penthouse suite was a brilliant choice. We were initially in Edinburgh for a rugby International, Scotland v Wales, with the hope of some sight seeing. Well the location was brill 10 minutes walk to The Playhouse Theatre of which we went to see two shows, and 15 minutes to Princess Street, where we were able to get sightseeing tours of the city. Our visit was for 11 days, and we stayed in for most nights, firstly we so tired after being out all day, but the apartment was so comfortable we didn't want to go out. We didn't want for anything and would definetly go back to this Penthouse suite if we ever return to Sotland.

We spent a very happy Christmas in the Penthouse , luxury at it's best. From the moment we booked until we arrived the owner was so helpful and friendly that we could'nt have asked for better. The Penthouse was wonderful, comfy, clean and huge! The bedrooms were all made up with lovely fresh bedding all ready for us. There was enough room for 7 adults to roam about and not bump into each other. There was a big dining table for all of us to sit and have our Christmas meal together. The kitchen had enough of everything and was a lovely place to sit chat and have coffee while looking out over the balcony. A short walk into town and you have all the shopping and sightseeing you can handle in one trip. Although the property was in a lovely quiet location, there is a bus station near by for the longer trips, our car stayed in the property parking space all week as everything we could have wanted was so close. I will stay at this Penthouse again when I return to Edinburgh. This accomodation was the best and I recommend it to everyone I know. If you want it all, this is the place to stay.

What a delight! The goodies made for a great welcome to the Penthouse. After traveling for a week in the highlands my wife and I met our daughter, son-in-law, and grand-baby for a week in Edinburgh. It was nice to be based for a while and fully unpack. Eddie was most gracious and provided every detail that you can imagine. The Penthouse was spotless, well equipped and maintained and was accurately described. The location is a short walk to the bus station in case you don't want to hire a car (but it comes with 2 parking spaces!), and there are numerous delightful restaurants within easy walking distance. A nearby wine shop has a nice selection of wines to complement those meals cooked at home. Eddie even keeps a listing of the recommendations and tips from the previous guests, and operation instructions for all electronics. This is definitely 5 star, but being on the top floor is not advised for those with disabilities. I have already recommended this property to our family doctor (he likes to play golf). Larry & Kelly
