I can't say enough good things about this house. It had all the amenities you could ever need and more. Perfectly located: just a quick walk to the main streets of Caye Caulker, but just far away enough to enjoy some seclusion and privacy. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating and Luciana, the local manager, is the nicest, most helpful person.

A great house on a great island. Thanks so much!

We have just returned from a stay at Sapphire House on Caye Caulker. It is a perfect family vacation home --- clean, relaxing, cheerful, and with all we needed to make our stay comfortable. In fact, it is one of our favorite VRBO homes we have stayed in. It has a wonderful, fully stocked kitchen. We rented bikes for 4 days and it was great fun. Rode down the street for cinnemon rolls and freshly squeezed fruit juice each morning. The only suggestion we have is to add a DVD player. It would be nice for longer stays.

Luciana was a wonderful manager. She met us, gave us great suggestions for local restaurants, etc, and even had fresh flowers on the table.

You can't go wrong with this vacation home.

Great place to stay

We loved Sapphire House and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone. The location was great because it was a quiet refuge to come back to throughout the day and evening, and the walking to and from the town core was a welcome bit of exercise and "sightseeing". The house itself is nice and cool, bright and airy, clean and beautiful. It was also great to have greenery all around, and the well-used balcony and hammock.

Caye Caulker is a quiet, friendly town - a great place to slow down, eat great seafood and enjoy amazing snorkeling/diving excursions. The local people are warm, welcoming and easy-going.

We just had a fantastic vacation in Caye Caulker
staying at Sapphire House. The house is quiet-away
from the center of town, spacious and airy, and
charmingly decorated. Everything you need to cook
is there. We enjoyed making meals as well as the
wonderful seafood one can buy at most restaurants
on the island. Ask Sandy at Barefoot Beach Hotel for
Bert's # if you want to learn how to scuba dive. He's
the best!!

My wife and I spent a week at the Sapphire House in Oct. The home is well equipped, clean, roomy, and very cute. Everything you need is furnished. It has ceiling fans, but it can get a bit hot on the island, so a/c would be a plus. It is conveniently located near the airport and just a short walk to downdown. I think you will enjoy it, we did. Caye Caulker has the friendliest people willing to help in any way they can. Enjoy your stay.

What can we say. Caye Caulker is one of the most wonderful vacations we have taken. It is a beautiful fun Island with plenty to see and do, and we abslutely loved Sapphire House. We were most comfortable there and the evening breezes blowing through the house made for very comfortable sleeping It's a great place to relax when not exploring the Island. The house is nicely decorated, clean and has everything a person could need when on a vacation. We highly recommend Sapphire House for a home away from home.

This vacation home is even better than its description. It's quiet, comfortable, surrounded by flowers, and equipped with everything you could ever need. It's a perfect "home base" for exploring a beautiful part of the world.

We stayed at this wonderful house in December. Wonderful weather and wonderful house. Nice and quiet. Our kids loved having their own bedroom and the fish bedding. The hammock on the balcony was a big hit too. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pans, spices and even a smoothy maker! Great for fixing your own breakfast and lunch. The washing machine and the big "sparklettes" sized water bottle were very convienent too. We definitly recommend this great getaway house!
