A true getaway!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax the "Sail Beach" house is a perfect fit. The house has all of the modern day conveniences, and we could not ask for anything more. The beach and water were some of the nicest I have ever seen which is great for snorkleing, fishing, and kayaking. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a quiet get away.

We will be back for sure.

My family and I stayed at the house in mid June, 2009. It was myself, my wife, a two and a half year old and six month year old.

We found the house clean, comfortable and well appointed. It seemed that everything was thought of from entertainment needs - TV with cable in every room; to cooking - with all the kitchen appliances of any modern home; to fun - with two bicycles and two kayaks.

The house has beautiful wordwork throughout and great A.C.

The beach in front is beautifull and really does look as good if not better in real life as it does on the pictures posted on the rental's website.

The House exceeded our expectations and was surprisingly affordable.

Spanish Wells is a great place to go to unwind and relax with a family.

We rented this property with another couple and had a wonderful experience. We could easily have had another couple join us as well and been very comfortable with loads of room. The house was great, we had all the comforts of home with the incredible bonus of having the ocean right at our feet with a beautiful sand beach that stretched for miles.
The house was immaculate, and we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and had our dinners at the table looking out over the water. We had the convenience of a large supermarket walking distance down the road, so we dined in most nights with a large bottle of wine or two... Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and affored privacy and convenience. We had satellite tv in the bedrooms and the living area but we rarely watched as we were busy exploring Spanish Wells and surrounding area on the bicycles provided with the property..
We were able to stay in touch with the world with internet which the guys seemed to enjoy.
The community of Spanish Wells is truly charming and the people very friendly. No crime here. It actually serves as a great base from which to see Eluthra as well as Govenor's Harbour. Highly recommend taking the ferry service for a day trip to Govenor's Harbour and lunch at the yacht club by the water. We really enjoyed the bicycles provided at this property as we could cycle everywhere.
We truly fell in love with this property and the beach was perfect for long walks. Would definitely return to this property.

The house was a most pleasant surprise as it was in every way as good or better than advertised. It is right on a superb stretch of a superb beach, yet still convenient to the local supermarket and other services. We were 5 people ( 3 generations, including an 8 month old) and the house was perfect for this. It is well laid out, well furnished, and has good laundry and bathroom facilites, all of which worked well.
Spanish Wells is quiet, without bars or upscale dining, or outside vehicles, so it is essential to enjoy your own cooking and made at home entertainment, and to rent a golf cart for the duration of your stay. Jim

This home was way more beautiful than the pictures give it credit for. The photos really don't do it justice. They house was big, clean and full of everything you need. I would recommend renting a golf cart, as hauling your groceries to the house from the store can get kind of tricky. The beach is awesome! For the first 5 days we were there, there wasn't a soul on the beach, except for us. It's very quiet and relaxing. We went in the month of December, so that may have had something to do with it. I would definately recommend this beach house to anyone.

We were looking for a vacation to de-stress, bring the teenagers, and get away from it all. Picked Spanish Wells on the advice from a long-time friend. (had never even heard of it)

Easy trip from Houston, very friendly and accomodating people everywhere. Felt like we found our 'home away from home'. The kids had a BLAST and befriended some locals. (they also brought a friend each)

Mark was a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. The house was just as represented. Wonderful to have the option of internet.... ONE week was definitely not enough and we ALL want to go back for at least 2 weeks!

Only "issues" we had were the water pressure was a bit low - but PROMPTLY taken care of by Tony, the property manager, and the next family were booked to arrive the day we were leaving. They arrived at 9 AM, placed their bags on the porch and stood around - interrupting our last day. (we were not supposed to leave until noon) We felt pressured to leave early.

Can't say enough good things for what the peace did for our psyche! It's a great place to go if you do not expect nightlife and are looking for complete relaxation.

We were very pleased with this well-maintained home, would rent it again and would recommend it to friends. The cost was very reasonable for what we needed for 2 adults and 6 children. The children loved the clear, blue water- we spent hours each day in the water and on the beach. The water is amazing!!!!

Spanish Wells is just as the owner describes- a quiet fishing village. If you or your children need to be entertained or you want a posh experience, choose another vacation spot. However, if you crave the quiet, simple life, this is the place for you. There is no glitz or distractions, so you can spend quality time with those you love.

We cooked all our meals at the house which was more economical for us, so I can't speak to the restaurants. We did go out for ice cream one evening. One night we grilled yellow tail fish that my son had caught.

We rented a little boat and explored the island and other beaches. We also rented a golf cart.

We hope to go back again. The children can't wait!!
