Home Sweet Home

What a pleasant surprise to find a charming apartment in the heart of upper west side historic district. The apartment is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. My family visited on a weekend and also loved the place. Especially my son who is a dinosaur fan (short walking distance to the museum). Though the neighborhood has a lot to offer - restaurants, shops, and museums, it was nice to come "home" after a busy day. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone!

This apartment is in the best location in New York, provided you don't want to be in midtown among the bright lights. It is close to shops and the subway that connects directly with Broadway and other places of interest downtown. The Met and other museums were no more than 10 minutes across central Park. Shops and restaurants were 2 minutes down the block. It was clean and had excellent facilities. All that was promised was delivered. We would definitely stay there again.

Our family stayed in this apartment in August for a week and really enjoyed our experience. The location is fantastic ! Just a few seconds from Central Park and a few blocks from Times Square. The listing description is accurate in every details. The apartment was very clean, well-maintained and even nicer than the pictures. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the city like real New Yorkers. You don't need a car since you have all the facilities needed to enjoy your stay. There is a lot of great local restaurants, groceries stores, liquor stores and coffee shops near by.

Fabulous place to stay--the apartment was beautiful, clean and well furnished. The location is perfect...steps away from Central Park, Columbus Ave, museums, etc. A great place to stay if you have kids as the Upper West side is a family-friendly, relaxed area within NYC. Michael is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Quiet neighborhood

We stayed at this property with our 3 children, ages 3, 5 & 8. The location is excellent, between the Museum of Natural History and the Children's Museum of Manhatten. Subway at 81st Street and playground at Central Park entrance. Many local eateries on Columbus & Amsterdam Avenues. The block was very quiet and safe as was the apartment. The only challenge was finding street parking, but that is typical in the city. We travel to the city 3-4 times per year and would stay here again.

Best Location in Manhattan!

This apartment had the most fabulous location! We were right across the street from Central Park--great for morning runs, 1 block from the Natural History Museum and 1 of many nearby subway stops, around the corner from a myriad of great restaurants, a few blocks from Broadway.... All this yet the apartment was nestled on a quiet tree-lined street that was amazingly peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is beautifully decorated with modern appliances, a full kitchen and dining area and wifi. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our trip to New York and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect family location in NYC!

We stayed for 5 days with a family of four (kids under 10). Kids shared the master bedroom and the parents used the pull-out each night (pull-out was new and in great shape and comfortable) and this arrangement was good for us. (2nd tv in master bed was a treat for our kids!) Central Park, Subway are 1/2 block or less away. Property was very clean, well-maintained and exactly as advertised - kitchen well equipped with full size fridge/freezer. 2 good size closets in master bedroom as well.

Zabar's deli has wonderful pre-made and fresh food and is a short walk away, lots of restaurants, coffee shops (starbucks and a few locals), H&H bagels, and wine shops and other grocery stores close in the area. (If you have kids, check out Alice's Teacup at west 73rd - easy walk away). The "Diana Ross" kids playground is on the edge of Central Park 1/2 block away.

Nice quiet area - felt very safe in a comfortable neighbourhood. The owner was very helpful and gracious, easy to deal with. Would highly recommend to a friend, and would rent here again.

For people who spend a good deal of time in New York, the location and ambiance is a gem. We felt more like New Yorkers and less like tourists in a charming neighborhood. Owners are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make the stay a pleasure. The owner promptly responded to all of our email questions before we arrived.

Just like home, there was an abundant supply of linens, towels, etc. We took advantage of the proximity to Central Park and neighborhood restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Our experience in NYC was so much more fun staying in this apartment rather than renting a hotel room. The apartment is within view of Central Park an 1 block from the subway that gets you across town very easily. The furnishings are beautiful and the decor is very classy. We loved this place and will stay here whenever we can!

Perfect family vacation home

My family and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for our Spring break vacation. It is in the best location imaginable in NYC for families with kids. We have a 7 yo, 4 yo and 5 mo and were looking for the ideal spot to stay in NYC. This was it! You are steps from Central Park with a wonderful playground right at the entrance at 81st St. You are around the corner from the Museum of Natural History. It's a nice walk across the park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Also, there's a convenient subway station around the corner which can take you down to Rockefeller Center within 10 minutes and downtown to 14th street in 15 minutes. Great restaurants are everywhere within walking distance and we had many wonderful meals out (or you could have them delivered if you'd like). It really is an awesome location. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Michel was most accommodating and more than helpful if we needed something. We will definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to our friends.
