A brilliant place to stay with little ones

Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We stayed in this apartment in May this year, and had a fantastic time. We were a little worried about going away with our 18-month-old as the last holiday we'd attempted to take wasn't very relaxing - but this was perfect! The apartment is ideal for little ones because there are no steps anywhere, and while there's a swimming pool (which in May has noone else in it!), it's only accessible by unlocking the gate from the verandah, which means he couldn't get to it without us knowing.
The beach at the Arenal is ideal for kids too as it's very deep - so if you want to stay away from the water for a bit, it's easy, as there is also a play area at the top of the beach for them.
We had such a great holiday we're thinking of going back next year - and we never go anywhere twice!

lovely time for the whole family

We had a lovely time here. Everything is as described. Lovely location right near the port, the property is clean and well maintained. It has a nice outside area (veranda) where we often ate in the evening. It was very peaceful and you wouldn't know you were right near the shops etc. Our children especially liked the very nice large secluded pool which rarely ever had more than a handful of people in it. The bus stop is right nearby which is handy for little journeys around other parts of town like the Arenal beach which is a great sandy beach which we all enjoyed. We had a great time in Javier Port, it has a nice vibe about it with a little night market and some fantastic tapas bars, ideal for an evening mooch! We did a boat trip which was okay nothing special though, but overall we had a wonderful time in a nice town in a lovely flat with good facilities including sky which came in handy now and again! The owners provided lots of information and were helpful whenever we needed it. We would recommend this to anyone, we had a really nice family holiday! Thanks guys!

Hot Property - August 09

Have just returned from a week staying at this excellent property. The apartment was furnished and maintained to a very high standard and its location is unbeatable. We loved the swimming pool and its facilities and especially how close it was to the apartment. Javea is a beautiful 'town' and the people are very friendly. We enjoyed eating out at the many excellent restaurants and all less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The directions on how to find the apartment driving from Alicante were 'spot on'. Would we go again? Most definitely.

The perfect holiday apartment

This apartment is ideally situated right in the Puerto area of Javea. Plenty of parking around, although even if you didn't have a car you could still stay here because everything you need for a great holiday is within walking distance. Less than 200m to a small but adequate supermarket, not much further to the beach and then - the view!
The apartment itself is well furnished and well maintained. We have now stayed here twice, in June 07 and Aug 08 and have been delighted on both occasions.

Puerto Real - The Real Thing!

This apartment is situated in Javea's port area so has every advantage. It is central but quiet, near the bus route, within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and the sea!

It is comfortably furnished and the balcony off the lounge leads to the gorgeous gardens belong to the complex and beautifully designed pool area with changing area and showers. Suffice it to say that even in March, I was tempted to take a dip ! ( Yes, a bit " loco " maybe!)

There is adequate space for your gear in the wardrobes and a super TV/DVD player to be enjoyed when you run out of steam. The compact kitchen is well-equipped though we just wanted breakfasts as eating out is so much fun.

The promenade along the front is really pretty with the palms, people strolling along and the parasols of the restaurants overlooking the sea.It would be easy to stay there and never see any other part of Javea!

I hope to stay in the apartment again as it is a real gem.

My cousin and I stayed here in March 2008 and found it to be all we expected and more. The property is clean comfortable and very well equiped. The position is good being only a few minutes walk from the shops, the port, and the sea front. The owners were very helpful  and we plan to visit again.

Puerto Real, Javea

We first visited Javea in June/July 2005 and had one of the best holidays ever. On arrival we were really impressed with the overall size and standard of the accommodation. Situated in the Port area, the apartment is well situated in terms of minutes walk from shops and restaurants, whilst only a bus journey or a slightly longer walk to the beach area. The apartment was clean with good quality furnishings, a fully fitted kitchen and electrical goods incl TV, DVD player, CD player, etc - really it was like a home from home. We spent many an hour sitting on the large terrace, while the kids enjoyed playing in the large clean pool. The apartment is ideally located for a nice relaxing holiday, one that in the evening you do not have to use a car to get out and about.

In 2006 and 2007 we went to nearby resorts, but felt drawn to Javea whilst there and spent a lot of time revisiting all our favourite restaurants and shops, as well as the beach.

In May 2008, I returned to Javea and Puerto Real for a long weekend break with my sisters. It was really pleasing to see that the apartment and the pool area were still in such excellent condition. My sisters were absolutely delighted with the apartment and Javea. This time I took the 15 minute walk uphill to the Pueblo - which is a beautiful place and well worth the visit.

All in all, for me Javea is the place I would love to be. It has everything there to make an ideal holiday; sand, sea, lovely weather, shopping, a choice of quality restaurants, history, and more importantly still a Spanish feel to it. Puerto Real is by far the best situated property for exploring all the above and I promise you, you will not be let down when you get there.

Many thanks.
