You just cannot beat the location and comfort of this home. It is just perfectly located from all the shops, restaruants, and nightlife that West Hollywood has to offer. I enjoyed being able to get out and walk around and feel very comfortable with the area. The other nice feature is that the owner "Jenny" is nearby in case you need anything. It is also perfect for a "quick" LA weekend as the airport LAX is so close.
I cannot think of anything that this place does not have.

I've just returned from 3 and a half weeks in LA where I was fortunate enough to stay in this cosy, safe little cottage in West Hollywood. In a sprawling, vast, sometimes impersonal city this cottage was a little oasis. Spick and span and tastefully decorated with hard wood floors and a deliciously comfy but firm bed, it was a delight to come home to at the end of every day. The location is perfect - literally 10 metres from Santa Monica Boulevard, and yet traffic noise isn't a bother. It's also very close to North Robertson Boulevard which has some great shops and cafes, and ten minutes walk in different directions to some excellent supermarkets (Trader Joes, Ralphs, Bristol Farms), and a brand new enormous Pavilions is due to open on July 23, just across the street. I don't drive, so the location was great for me as bus services go up and down Santa Monica all day between downtown and the beaches. If you do drive though Jenny can give you a parking pass for the street. The neighbourhood is very gay-friendly, and quite affluent and so is extremely safe. I walked alone on the streets at 9 or 10pm some nights and there were so many happy people in the cafes and bars - a nice vibe - and I never felt threatened. There's also a great bookshop on Sunset Boulevard just up the hill called Book Soup. Great selection of fiction and non-fiction, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Whether you love or hate LA is down to where you stay in my opinion. I stayed here, and for the most part, I LOVED LA, and my experience was partly due to the cottage and its salubrious location, and the obliging, friendly nature of my landlord, Jenny. She'll help you with anything you need, but she'll also give you your privacy if that's what you want. Enjoy!

Best place in West Hollywood

The location is great! The duplex is within easy walking distance to all the best restaurants and clubs on Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd. The rooms are immaculately clean and there is no hassels with the concierge that you get with the local hotels. As a person who has traveled to Europe and enjoyed staying at pensions, this experience was better. If you are going to stay in West Hollywood, I really suggest you stay here

I Love L.A.

My sister and I were visiting Los Angeles for the first time, and wanted to stay close to its wonderful upscale shopping areas, we didn't know we would be so close to Rodeo Drive. We didn't rent a car so we got around by bus. It was about a 10mn bus ride to all the shops in and around Rodeo Drive/Beverly Hills. The weather was perfect so we headed down to Santa Monica Beach and that was only about 30mn and only had to take one bus. Everyone told us we would NEED a car to get around but, we found that the bus stop at the end of the block pretty much got us to were we needed to go. We walked up to The Sunset Strip almost every night we were there for some excellent dinner at the posh restaurants.
Since the cottage is in the center of everything, we found that we could go out for a few hours and come back to the cottage to rest and freshen -up, then go back out with out having to travel a very long distance. The only time we had to stay out all day was when we ventured out east to Old Town Pasadena. Jenny was really nice to us and gave us some excellent tips on the areas attractions. My cousin is come to America for the first time and we are planning on staying at Jenny's. Thank you again.

I am from India and had visited the USA, to attend the Graduation Ceremony of my son @ Georgia Tech, Atlanta during early May this year.Having travelled this far, it was only natural to holiday in America for the rest of my vacations.Of all the places I had been to viz.New York, Buffolo/Niagara Falls,Pittsburg,Washington, DC.,sunny California, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, etc., my stay at Los Angeles was indeed memorable.During the entire stay in the US, I have experienced many vacation places from 5 Star Hotels to weekly rentals, Inns, etc.and am happy to say that Jenny's cozy home was indeed the most memorable stay my family and I have had. I have said most in the title description and mean every word!
Jenny caps it all! She is a wonderful host and makes the stay very memorable ..the warmth she exuberates is soul satisfying, yet provides all the independence necessary to make one feel the place is "yours"!
I carry the fondest memories about my holiday in the US mainly due to this one wonderful experience.
Thank u Jenny and wish u and ur home many many years of lively and warm holidayers!
Best regards,
Venu/Vikas and Kavita

We really enjoyed our stay. It's convienent to everything we're looking for in West Hollywood. It's clean, quiet and well maintained. Jenny provides excellent customer service and makes you feel "at home". We are already booked for our next two visits. I'd recommend this property to any couple looking for a very nice place without the hotel feel.
