The resort was really nice. The pool was very impressive with it's lazy river & slide. everyone in our family had a great time. The townhouse was very comfortable and MUCH better than a hotel!!
Highly recommended

Loved it!

We stayed here for one week in April. We loved it! Everything was nice and very clean and all the theme parks are nearby. The pool was also very nice. We visited a lot of the theme parks during our one week stay, but still we thought it was to short. I wanted to stay longer...but we had also scheduled to go to Miami..
I will definitely recomment the house to my family and friends.
Thanks Alan & family for staying in your beautiful house!

Orlando vacation March -09

Review Submitted: April 2, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Me and my son at age 13 had a very nice stay here in March -09. We stayed there for 8 nights. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to my inquiry and questions. The property had everything we needed and was nice and clean. The management company did also provide an excellent service. It was just a short walk up to the resort facilites and the pool. They also had a restaurant at the resort, but I wouldn't recommend it as the service there was very poor. We went there for breakfast once and waited about 15 minutes before we left and went to another restaurant. But there is plenty of places to eat just a few miles down the road, so if you have a car that isn't a problem. There is a 10$ fee per person per day to use the pool/resort facilities and I recommend to buy it only the days you intend to use the pool. As we went out to the theme parks, shopping and other attractions most of the days, we only used the pool 3-4 times. If you have children, the Wet'n Wild water-park is highly recommended. All in all, the property was all we needed and at a fair price. I'm very comfortable with recommending this property to others, especially if you have children and plan on visiting the theme-parks in the area. Thanks to the owner for a nice stay!

Don & Bev's great escape

Review Submitted: March 6, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
my husband and I were up for a quick trip to find some sunshine and rest and relaxation.
I am a travel agent by trade and could have picked any 5 star location I wanted but I have to tell you this family home ranked right up there with the best hotels that I have stayed at. The Townhome had so much comfort and seemed like home the minute we unlocked the door and we were sad when we left. the food was great at the club house, I spend my time at the pool and lazy river and the water was warm even in the winter months. I had to do a review at a 4 star hotel staying there for 2 days before settling into the townhouse and was shocked their pools were so cold nothing more than my foot went into the waters. so for a summer or winter vacation spot this home is the one for you and your family. you have a home away from home that is well cared for and maintained. a great shopping center walking distance and more within 10 min. drive, you have food on property that was a great deal I paid 4.99 or 5.99 for a burger/fries/ beer one day. we also had other great meals at the property and all were great and a bargin $, gift shop that has all the basis items and good prices on last minute gift items even. about a short 10-20 min. drive to disney depending on traffic. a very quiet and nice neighborhood for your family stay.
enjoy and thank you so much again.
*also there is a large queen bedroom down stairs in case you have someone in your party that can't make the stairs you have all the comforts of home downstairs with extra bedrooms upstairs. well worth it to both.

Family of Ten have Fabulous Vacation

laurieliz Manchester, NH
Review Submitted: March 6, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
This rental is amazing! We planned a vacation with my brother's family. He has 4 children ( ages 15, 8, 6, 3)and my husband and I have 1 (age 7). We also invited my mother along making the total travel party 10. We drove from NH to FL. We had looked at pool homes in the area but settled on this townhouse (though much smaller) because of the resort pool. I was worried that we might be cramped but found we were not at all. We all had beds that were comfortable. During the day we spent much time out of the condo anyway.
The unit was spotless and everything looked in great condition. It was positioned perfectly- just a few blocks to the pool! The kids LOVED the lazy river and water slide and I'll admit we loved it too. Drinks poolside were $7.50 for a frozen and $4.50 for beer. I loved the mudslides! We bought tubes for the lazy river and left them at the pool when we left. I noticed lots of people doing this so before you buy them, get to the pool first thing a few days and see if there are any left hanging around. I do want to say that I was a little bummed that the pool area closes at 6pm (I gather this is a new rule). I thought it would be a problem for us but by the time we were done the parks, and eating, we were pretty tired and wouldn't have gone anyway. Days we spent at the pool, we were done by six and ready for something else. I was not bothered by the rule at all. Also, I did see some people that were disturbed at the pool because of the lack of rules. Kids do splash and jump off rocks and do long chains of people off the water slide. We are laid back people and were not bothered by this at all. It was not excessive and we could try the hot tub or other pool if an area was rowdy. The pool area is big enough for everyone. There are quiet spaces everywhere.
We spent 2 days at Disney (Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom). Lots and lots of walking but so fun!
We ate out twice. We did take out at Carrabbas the first night. Its a Italian chain (above Olive Garden) and I loved it (but I love it at home). We also ate out down the road at Houlihans. The menu was fantastic and the food was great and the atmosphere was very hip and cool.
Also, Owner Alan is wonderful. Great communication! Helped with every question! He was so helpful and I would recommend his place to anyone. I really loved this place and will be back again for sure!

Great Location

The whole trip was planned around Disney and the location allowed us not only to get there quickly and enjoy the parks, but was just far enough away that we didn't have to stay in the high traffic areas. The condo was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. It was also very close to a grocery store and Wal-Mart, along with many restaurants. I was very disappointed however with the resort staff. When I checked in they were not very friendly and handed me a passkey, when what I needed was the door code.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY CLOSE TO ALL THE PARKS!

Review Submitted: January 25, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We stayed here between Christmas and New Year. We loved the townhouse! It was perfect for us (a large family with 4 kids and my handicapped mom). The bedroom on the first floor had a jack-and-jill bathroom that was convenient for everyone to use. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. Two share a bathroom and the master had its own. It was nice to be able to save some money by cooking in the kitchen - which had everything you would need and was clean and had new appliances. There is a washer & dryer which was nice beacuse we didn't have to pack a ton of clothes. There is a small charcoal grill ( a little hard to cook on if you are not used to it!) Would be nicer to have a gas grill, but hey - its vacation! The Publix food store is withing walking distance, as well as a few places to eat and a nail salon. The pool area was very nice and tropical. It had a water slide, a zero entry pool for the little ones and a lazy river, as well as a regular 5 ft pool. It also has waitress service so you could order lunch or a tropical drink by the pool. Drinks were very expensive - but thats to be expected. Also, note you have to pay $10 per day to the complex upon check-in to use their facility. Keep in mind you also need to pay a $250 refundable security fee prior to arrival. In the complex is a spa & salon, a restaurant and a little convenience store. There is also a small playground. Its about a 10 minute ride to Disney and about 20 to Sea World. All-in-all for the price it was a GREAT DEAL! We drove from New Jersey and had a great time down there! WE LOVED THE HOME and would DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN! Hope this review helps. ;)

I have such good experience dealing with Alan (owner). Very accomodating, informative & detail. Alan himself deserve a 5 star rating! Wish I could say the same about the front desk staff that helped us during check-in. No problem with check-in at all, just no friendly smile and not very helpful. Maybe she was having a bad day.
The property was clean. Everything was as described by the owner. Amenities, ..... plentyfull! Cable TV with DVD player in every room, hairdryer in everyroom. Tons of baby & toddler stuff. Kitchen is fully equiped. Extra pillows, blankets & towels. The downstair bedroom with full bathroom is great for my disabled mom. We can't hear our neighbors at all. I'm pretty sure our neighbors can't hear our noisy kids, or else they would've complained for sure.
We love the pools! It's really a small water park. There is lazy river, water slide, beach pool, regular pool. Tons of place to lounge around the pools & soak up the sun. Our kids loved the pools so much we cut down on our Disney park visit! By the way, they do provide towels at the pools., but no floaties or tubes for use @ the lazy river. Bring your own! Here is an important bits, the unit is just a couple of blocks away from the pool! Short walking distance!!!!
There is a restaurant by the pool with reasonable prices!
There are supermarket, restaurants at a within walking distance shopping center. Very convenience.

Resort

Review Submitted: August 12, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
I'm sorry but this year at the resort was abomidable.no toilet paper-not enough towels for a party of eight-no toaster-one of the toilets didnt work properly and my son had to fix it-and for the resort to charge ten dollars to enter their pool areais ridiculous.by 12:00 p.m. you're being forced out of the pool by guests that i know had 10-20 people in a condo so they would only have to pay the 10 dollars.there was no security at the pool while these inconsiderate people were "diving" into the pool.they were jumping off the rocks with total disregard for the others in the pool.my wife went into the lobby and asked if anybody could remedy this and one guy came out and said "you need to stop" and then he went back in and they continued to act inappropiately.they were sitting on other peoples chairs and towels. I will never stay here again!!!!!!
