Stunning views and perfect location!

Swedish couple Stockholm, Sweden
Review Submitted: November 8, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
If you like great views this is the place for you. We spent a week in NYC in July and we couldn't get enough of the view from the terrace. The pictures on this website simply don't do it justice. The panorama is stunning! You can spot Ellis Island, Ground Zero, Brooklyn Bridge, Liberty Island and the glittering Hudson river with the boat traffic and and the whole Lower Manhattan.
The location is perfect. Tribeca is a very nice neighborhood. Less bustle, less traffic and more of an intimate atmosphere. Greenwich street is full of nice restaurants and there is a well-stocked Wholefoods supermarket a few blocks away.
The apartment is well-maintained and well-appointed. The owner is really nice and helpful in every way. The only bad thing was the fold-out bed in the living room which wasn't very comfortable. But the overall impression was extremely positive.

Great views of lower Manhattan. Apartment is conveniently located a block away from Whole Foods and within easy walking distance to many restaurants and subway stops. Would recommend for anyone wanting a low profile trip to Manhattan.

Perfect Fall Getaway

Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
This was a great place for a stay in New York. Nothing was forgotten in details of this rental, and I could easily see staying for a more extended time in the future. Great neighborhood with grocery and drug store close by as well as good restaurants and bars. Also close to a couple of different subway stations to get you uptown without much hassle. Don't forget to take a nice stroll along the river at the nearby park!

Tribeca Penthouse in July

Review Submitted: July 28, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We spent 9 days in July in this apartment with our son and his girlfriend. It worked out very well, since the Murphy bed in the bedroom and the bed-sofa in the living room are of high quality. The pictures on the website does not give full justice to the apartment. The view is better in the real world, and the apartment is designed and equipped to the highest standards. The area where the apartment is located is probably the best in N.Y. Very quiet, with shopping and restaurants nearby. 5 minute walk to Chamber and Franklin Subway. The people in the neighbourhood are friendly and helpful. Free telephone and internet connection was also a treat that we enjoyed.
Thank you Richard. Hope to be able to come back again.

Tribeca penthouse in June

detcat Lake Oswego, Oregon
Review Submitted: June 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We spent five nights at the apartment in early June 2009. The views are incredible. What we liked most is the neighborhood where the apartment is located. Many restaurants, and the sidewalks are filled with area residents with their children and walking their dogs. A real neighborhood. Thank you, Richard.

Tribeca Penthouse

92732 Dallas
Review Submitted: June 5, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
For us, this was the most perfect place to home-stay for our NYC vacation. The location is marvelous. The apt itself is done in grand style, felt a little like an Italian Villa! The actual apt looks better than the photos on the web site... really elegant, roomy, and inviting. Everything works, all the kitchen appliances are new, extensive and modern.. our landlords had thought of everything we'd need! Speaking of landlords, these folks are great...handy to speak to if you need something, and delightful to be with. I can't recommend this 'home' highly enough! If you are lucky to find it vacant, snap it up!

Spring in NY With a View

Homeaway Addicted Milford, CT
Review Submitted: April 8, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We are just back from a long weekend at this "designer” penthouse, which is a delight for the eyes. Gorgeous views from the balcony. Owners were easy enough to work with. PROS- lots of hot water and sun filled rooms with the exception of the bathroom. Nice touch to have coffee and creamers in the apartment. Bed was comfortable enough, linens were great. Nice TV and Stereo. CONS -Penthouse could use a place to chill out in living room after the many hours spent traversing the city. Additional towels were needed in the bathroom which is very poorly lit. We would return for the view, close proximity to parks, restaurants, and the Subway, taxis were readily available at all times. We would seek a comfy spot in the Living Room, to put your feet up and spend time with your traveling partners. Thanks Richard.

Winter in New York

sue&jeff Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Review Submitted: January 31, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
My husband and I met our 2 adult children,(who live in London), here for 2 weeks over the Christmas/New Year holidays. I agree with all the above reviews and we had a wonderful holiday in the cold - very different to ours in Melbourne, Australia.
It would be perfect for a couple as there is limited storage space for such an extended time in winter for 4 adults. The place was very warm even in the middle of a very cold winter with no heating needed at all!! We could also have done with a folder of all the local places to go and the best ways to get around - nearest subway and buses etc. Some information we were given was out of date.
I would certainly go back again, especially now that I do know the area and would love to be there in the autumn or spring. We have already recommended it to friends.
Thank you Richard

Awesome view of New York City!

Review Submitted: December 12, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2008
We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights and this property was very neat, clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was convenient to walking or the subway. It was close to a drugstore, many well known restaurants, a grocery store and much, much more! It was a wonderful way to spend time after a busy day in NYC. We would gladly stay again on a future visit.

Perfect Vacation Rental

MicaMica Minnesota
Review Submitted: December 7, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
I recently brought my three daughters, ages 18,19 and 23 to NYC for a long weekend. This apartment was more than we could have asked for. We always felt safe, the view is incredible, the convenience is great and the owners were very flexible.

I would definitely choose to stay here again over a hotel. There is so much more freedom and room. The apartment is very, very nice and clean, close to great restaurants, groceries, subway, easy to catch a cab - everything we needed to make our stay a complete success.
