La Reserva de Marbella

Review Submitted: June 2, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
My husband and two children aged 9 and 6 stayed during May 2009. The apt is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and it really was a home from home, perfect for families. The rather large balcony meant we spent a great deal of time outdoors and the pool was a favourite with my children. When we stayed the complex was quiet so we had a very relaxing and chilled out holiday. Eamon (the owner) provides great info on where to eat ... The area itself is bang centre for sightseeing from the caves of Nerja to the rock of Gibraltar, both of which I recommend visiting, if gong to Gibraltar do take your car into Gibraltar and do the sightseeing tour up the rock, the views were superb.

Owner's Response: Many thanks to Yvette and Brian for their recommendation and kind comments. Eamonn

Winter Holidays

Paul and Maire Newcastle upon Tyne
Review Submitted: October 24, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2008
Twice my husband and I have had very enjoyable holidays in Eamonn's apartment . Each time we went in February as we desperately needed time to relax and enjoy some sunshine as our Winters here in Newcastle upon Tyne are very cold. I assure you we were not disappointed. We lazed every morning on the apartment balcony and most afternoons headed for the beach. Evenings were spent in one of the many nearby resturants or on occassion watching videos which were provided by our host.

The apartment itself is very spacious, comfortable and clean. It comes complete with washing machine, dish washer, central heating etc.

We hope to return to this apartment in the future for a holiday in comfortable surroundings complete with warm sunny days when it is cold and grey at home

Apartment with all comforts of Home

Review Submitted: September 14, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We stayed in this apartment for two weeks at the end of August and September 2009. The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and air conditioned. We have always stayed in hotels on previous holidays, but as we have a baby now, it really was much more convenient to stay in an apartment. Everything I wasn’t able to bring with me was already at the apartment and next time I will be taking a lighter suitcase.
My son had an accident and we had to stay in for few days but as the apartment was so comfortable it wasn’t difficult. There are lots of DVDs and even kids films which kept us entertained. The balcony is huge, plenty of space for kids and adults to have a relaxing time.
The apartment is centrally located, 5 mins drive to the nearest beach, lovely sandy beach with good restaurants. The food in Spain is wonderful; it caters for all tastes plenty of seafood to wonderful steaks. Everywhere was very child friendly, the usual crayon and paper and toys on hand at restaurants and some even have play grounds with swings and slide to keep kids amused.
We would happily recommend this apartment, and hope to return for another holiday.

Owner's Response: My thanks to Christine and Patrick for their comments and I am delighted they enjoyed their stay on the Costa. The apartment (and the terrace especially) is ideal for young families because it is completely enclosed and escape is virtually impossible! I agree with their comments regarding the child friendliness of Spain. I think it's wonderful to see families and their children out and about till the small hours enjoying the Costa hospitality.

La reserva de Marbella

Silvana y Enrique Madrid - Spain
Review Submitted: September 8, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We spent a beauteful holidays in Eamonn´s apartment, it is really very comfortable, well furnished and quiet, sourrounded by natural gardens. If you like to enjoy good restaurants or exclusive shopping centers, close to Marbella, Fuengirola and Puerto Banús. Also close to fashionable beaches in Elviria like Nikki Beach or Puerto Banús.
But if you like calm and in family holidays Alvarito Playa is close enough to spend excellent holidays with children and long walks across the sunny beach.
Eamonn has evrything in place and provides with an excellent guide of facilities, interest tourist points, restaurants and ammenities.

Holiday August 2009

Review Submitted: August 14, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Stayed in August 2009, apartment was as described with all mod cons. Pool was clean and quiet - only ourselves most days. Car definitely needed if planning to leave the apartment grounds as hilly area and long walk for kids to beach especially with loungers/towels etc. and for supermarket trips - all uphill coming back. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance at reasonable cost. All in all , a good and enjoyable holiday had by all

I stayed in this apartment at the beginning of June last year and had such a lovely time. There were 4 of us staying in the apartment (2 couples) and we had loads of space. The apartment itself was prestine and really tastefully decorated with all the home comforts - TV, books etc. We had the pool to ourselves for the whole week so spent most of the days relaxing in loungers in the sun in complete privacy. At night there are plenty of resaurants within 5/10 minute drive if you feel like venturing out. There is a really big outdoor area/balcony with table and couch outside for the evenings we felt like just enjoying a few drinks on the balcony . Overall, I would really recommend this apartment and I will definitely be returning!

we spent a week in this apartment in 2008. Its very clean, spacious with home from home fixtures and fittings. It was a very positive experience. Spent lots of time at the pool, when we didnt feel like venturing out. Car rental as recommended in the vacinity was really reasonable.
be it relaxation, or socialising we found this the perfect location. Hoping to book a short break here again soon.
