The place is as promised and is as beautiful as shown in the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the place (so much so that we didn't feel the need to leave the villa too often). Our family ended cooking most of the time with and eating dinner our on the patio. The villa is on the residential side of aruba and it was certainly a lot calmer and quieter than the tourist areas. We rented a car and felt in no way disconnected from the rest of the island.
The beach itself is wonderful. The snorkeling was great and we saw a lot of different things when snorkeling there, including a couple of turtles. The beach directly in front of the house is stony, but if you walked about a 100 ft they have a sandy beach to lie on.
Viola was great and very attentive. We could not ask for a better host. She arranged the car for us and made sure we knew where eveything was. I would not hesitate to stay at the same place on our next trip.

This was a perfect vacation. The villa looked exactly like the pictures. The view was incredible. Viola was wonderful. This is a quiet residential area, practically on the beach. If you are looking for a relaxed vacation, away from it all, this is the place to be. The villa had everything you could want, we basically just brought ourselves, did some food shopping and we were set for the week!

Crystal Beach Villa was more than we ever hoped for. When we first arrived, my daughter and her friend ran around screaming because they were so excited. It is immaculate and the view is extraordinary! Viola was a very gracious host. We can't wait to go back! Do not rent a car from American Jeep and Car Rental however; we had a big problem with them.

We arrived Feb. 2009 in Aruba and stayed for 2 week. The Villa was beautiful, clean and we loved the large open concept kitchen and full bathroom. Enough room for all of us.Viola even had a rental car ready for us upon our arrival. There where two beaches close by, both within a very close walking distance. One is Arashi which is a lovely sand beach and great for people with children as the water is not too deep. Make sure to bring your goggles and snorkel though, because the other beach is great for snorkeling and you won't want to miss the sighs you'll catch there. A must see for yourself. Aside from all the traveling and sight seeing we did in Aruba, it was also very nice to just spend a day relaxing on the large sized patio BBQing and sun-bathing. The view from up top is amazing any time of the day. We will definitely be coming back.

Rented the 4 bedrooms, the house is amazing, had a great time. The location is great, not too many tourists, its nice and private and close to the beaches. If you don't want to be crowded by vacationers at the hotels, this place is perfect. It is also fairly close the the hotels and resorts, we passed them on our way from the airport, so if you would like to visit the tourist attractions, restaurants and bars, its a three minute drive from the mariotte hotels which is where the main attractions are so you can enjoy all Aruba has to offer. I'm sure I will be visiting again soon!

Four of us (two couples) rented this villa for a week, (jan 16-23) What a great place! The villa was beautiful..in the nicest area in Aruba...what a view from our awesome deck...180 degree view of the ocean...great beach down street..CLEAN HOUSE....towels always there when needed.....car is kept inside gate....safe provided for money and passports...LOTS of space in villa and deck is huge you never need to leave just cool off in your outdoor shower and cook on your grill just make sure you have enough beers!...hope to return again soon! Viola we love you!

We are a big family from Italy - Milan - and we spent a great vacation in paradise! Everything is wonderful .. the house with a gorgious view, beach few steps from the house, and the kindness of owners is really unique.
Beautiful ride on the desert with atv. Try them !! Rent a car suggested to join the whole island.
Best place for snorkeling and few minutes from nightlife.

Fantastic house next to the best of Aruba

We stayed in Aruba for a month. The Crystal Beach Villa offered us the best accomodations. It is a house split into two residences. The guests get the top level where the views are the best!! You can walk from your kitchen onto the large patio and enjoy the views of the ocean. The best snorkelling is also found all around the house. And the beaches here are are not as crowded as those near the resorts. But they are just as beautiful! We stayed in other parts of Aruba and this really is the best location. Here you are close to the only surfing spot on the south side of the island, the best snorkelling, whitesand beaches, the best windsurfing & kitesurfing, and its only a 10 minute drive to restaurants and the major hotels. The roads here are very easy to navigate. Just a straight shot to town. We highly recommend!!! :)

My wife and I had a wonderful, memorable time at the Villa Viola a few weeks ago. The villa is in a very beautiful, affluent neighborhood across the street from a quiet secluded beach not too far from the California lighthouse. The air conditioned guest area has large bedrooms, private baths, large kitchen, and a huge patio overlooking the Carribean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to return.
