First experience of Venta Lanuza

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place to be. The villa is located in a very quiet area and provides every thing that you may require. There are a few things that need to be replaced but nothing major.
The owners provided excellent customer service before we travelled and the onsite manager was extremely helpful.
There is a bit of a walk to the pool and it is up hill but it is worth the walk. The pool is very well maintained.
The tram stop is again up hill but is great for getting around on . We used it several times to visit El compello and Alicante. We found the car we hired very useful to get to destinations further a field and to collect provisions.we would recommend this holiday to couples who are after lots of relaxation.

Peaceful location. Well kept villa.

We have just spent a very enjoyable 10 days at this very quiet resort. The villa was clean and well kept and more than adequate for our needs. Sea view is a bit of a push - need to stand on tip toes! The beach is 2 minutes walk and is quaint and quiet with beach bar for drinks and light meals, run by English owners which we visited most days. The tram (no more than 5 mins walk) was great and very easy to use - we used it a lot to visit El Campella for it's huge sandy beach and Alicante for it's harbour, sights and street cafes. No car was necessary. My only criticism is the lack of a shop - the only one has now closed down and we needed a tram ride to buy any provisions.

Excellant property in a great location for easily getting around the Costa Blanca.
Lovely property, smashing but quiet area, suitable for those looking for a quiet/romantic break.

Venta Lanuza experience

Bunt Dublin, Ireland
Review Submitted: October 30, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We spent one week in this villa and the description was accurate apart from not having a sea view. it was well maintained with good qualitiy furniture etc. but some new bed linen would be a good idea and more than one tea towel. We were surprised that toilet paper was not provided and with luggage allowances nowadays so low and the only shop a distance away uphill we felt it a bit unreasonable. Service and information from the owner was excellent but not so on site. There are no activities or amenities at Venta Lanuza apart from the beach. While we were there access to the pool was difficult as the keys to the gate were not working properly but perhaps that has been remedied. As we didn't have a car, the railway ten minutes walk away was a huge bonus for getting to other places for shopping etc. The restaurants in the area were not good, although we did use the Jet Ski bar ( watch out for the sand flies when eating outside).
We enjoyed our stay in the villa and the weather was wonderful and that's what we were there for, so we would recommend it but if for longer than a week then I think a car would be essential for doing more sight-seeing.

Perfect holiday

Just had a perfect week in this lovely relaxing spot. Really cant fault it from beginning to end, from being picked up by Lee to getting dropped off again a weeek later it was superb. El Campello and Villajoyosa are a couple of very nice low key towns with plenty of nice restaurants, cafes etc. Both towns are only a couple of stops away on the tram which is a 5 minute walk fom the house. The tram is spot on for getting about to all the coastal towns & we didnt really feel the need to hire a car.
Venta Lanuza is a lovely, quiet, clean resort with a shop and a couple of bars. Had a couple of nights in the beachfront bar where you can get a nice 4 course meal for under 10 euros.
The house was great, everything you need was layed on, even a couple of sunloungers for the beach! Very quiet, clean and comfortable.
If you want rave clubs, lager louts and chip shops this is not for you. If you want to relax and get a feeling of being in the real Spain you'll love it !!

Relaxing break

Leon York
Review Submitted: June 27, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Had a lovely relaxing week in this clean and spacious villa. It is in a very quiet area with only one small shop and bar, but a beautiful beach very near by. The bar was popular with British people and reknown for its good food. The buses and tram stops are on the doorstep so it is very easy to get around and the transport costs are very cheap. El Campello itself is a lovely beach resort.
The owner arranged Taxi transfers at our request and we were picked up on time by lovely Lee who also took us to the large supermarket on the way to the villa to buy all the big items. Judy met us at the villa and gave us a guided tour, including how to work all the appliances. She was local and easy to access if we needed her. The whole complex was clean and very secure.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Russ and Sue
