A very nice property with all the facilities needed for a great vacation for families. We loved the villa with its spacious rooms, the great pool and the big garden (you can even play soccer there). The location is good, short distance to one of the best beaches we ever have visited (the La Barossa), and a lot of known attractions within 1.5 hours drive (Cadiz, Jerez, Seville, Tarifa, Gibraltar and many more). A visit to one of the lovely pueblos blancos (white hilltop villages) is strongly recommended. There are a lot of those nearby (Arcos, Vejer etc). Especially we liked that the area seems very “Spanish” - not dominated by Scandinavians, British or German tourists. Here we had to try our School-Spanish to get by.

We spent a fantastic week in Mandevilla. The house is very well equipped, everything is very clean an in excellent condition. The garden is great with a wonderful pool. We very much enjoyed our stay. We made very interesting trips to Ronda, Cadiz, Medina Sidonia, Vejer de la Frontera and Gibraltar. I highly recommend to visit the archeological excavation of the Roman city Baelo Claudia near Bolonia.
We thank you very much for having given us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful house and we really intend to come back soon. Thanks to Angela for the warm welcome and the good service. My husband and I booked two weeks at the Villa Mandevilla at the end of September 08, hoping for a little sun before the dreary British winter set in, and we weren't disappointed, even at this late stage in the year the temperature was well into the 30's for most of the holiday.
The accommodation more than lived up to the description on the website and we were very pleased with the clean and well maintained villa, with the large swimming pool (a welcome break from the heat!). The place would be ideal for a large family or even a group of friends as it can easily accommodate many.
There is lots to do in the area, especially if you like watersports, Tarifa is the place to go for this as well as for whale watching and its not much further to Gibraltar. Medina Sidonia was a charming place to go and has a fantastic 360 degree view from the top!
The owners agents were at hand if we needed them, they were very helpful and also offered useful advice about the local area.
To stay at the villa you will definitely need a car as it is located in a quiet residential area but not far from the local attractions such as the Novo Sancti Petri golf course, La Barrosa beach which is lovely and clean, and at this time of year pretty deserted! It is centrally situated and ideal for sightseeing everything that the region has to offer.
The only thing that we found inconvenient at the villa was that we weren't able to walk to a restaurant in the evening for dinner, but again, this was saved by the barbeque at the villa which we used almost every evening and it possibly saved us a bit of cash too!
I would, and, have recommended this villa to friends and family for its layout, facilities and peace and quiet.

A very spacious well equiped villa with large secluded garden in a quiet location near to beach and amenities. The pool is big, beautiful and perfectly clean. The luxury title is well deserved. Andrew & Emma the villa owners and Angie the Management Agent are very pleasant to deal with. I will definately be returning.
