Myrajer villa is set in a wonderful location on the Kas peninsula with fantastic views. Property is maintained to an excellent standard both inside and out - fantastically comfortable and exquisite decor. This is the best villa I have stayed in - can highly recommend

What can one say!!

Everybody extolls the virtues of staying here and I will not be different. What a place to relax and get over the worries of what is happening in the outside world. From Fatma's cooking and attention to detail. Oktay on the barbie and keeping the pool and gardens spectacular. The Villa has changed dramatically since I last stayed and is even better now.
Who needs to go out into Kas when the Villa has everything I require (apart from the trip out on the boat, which I always look forward to) Fatma's food just gets better and better. Every time I leave I cannot wait to get back. Cok Guzel Steve

Better than ever before

I've stayed at Myrajer before and can honestly say that stanards are even better this time. The house has been decorated to a premium level and extremely comfortable The pool was fantastic set in a lovely garden./spacious terrace (surrounded by a security fence). Fatma's cooking was lovely so much so we ate in most nights. Not difficult when you sit on the terrace with the sun going down and a lovely glass of local wine looking at the sea. We went to a local hotel for lunch and swimming and also hired Fatma's brother's boat. Can I say I have neve swam in such lovely water. Crystal clear, warm and seemingly unpolluted. No hesitation in recommending this villa or the area.

Fantastic villa in lovely area

J, K, R & M London, UK
Review Submitted: September 15, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
When we booked this villa over the internet we were a little wary as it looked too good to be true. However when we got there, we realised that Villa Myrajer really is as good as it looks on the website, and better...

The views from the villa are stunning: you can see the mountains and sea all around. The villa itself is as beautiful and comfortable as it looks in the pictures - lots of space, extremely comfortable and kitted out with every mod. con. imaginable. Fatma and Oktay are a lovely couple who made the holiday a real treat - Fatma's food was really delicious and Oktay does a very tasty BBQ. They were always there to help and give recommendations so it was easy to sort out logistics (e.g. restaurant bookings, car hire, where to do shopping etc.). This meant that nothing was stressful. The pool was beautiful too - and essential, given that we went in August.

To top that, Kas - the small town nearby - is a really lovely place. Not too touristy (although clearly geared towards tourists), and a lovely, genuine place. Small enough to walk around, look at the boats, have a drink... The market on Fridays is brilliant and definitely worth the effort - it sells spices, pottery, jewellery, scarves, turkish delight, lovely tablecloths/towels, not to mention all the beautiful locally grown fruit and veg. Another highlight of the trip was a boat trip on Fatma's brother's boat - swimming/snorkeling off the boat and having a barbeque on board for lunch.

All in all, one of our most stress-free holidays ever in a beautiful house in a really lovely area with lots of help on hand should you need/want it. We look forward to going back!

Booking the villa and getting information before the trip were also extremely easy to do and efficient. Thank you.

A Home away from Home

We had a wonderful 2 week stay and were looked after perfectly by Fatma and Oktay . I can only reiterate the previous reviews and say that we were left wanting for nothing . The villa is most definitely a "Home away from Home" being so well equipped and comfortable - and with easy access into the town
Kas itself is also a lovely small traditional town with some nice shops, bars and restaurants . We spent many evenings enjoying a drink or a meal by the harbour and would also recommend a trip or two on Flora .
All in all we enjoyed a fantastic family holiday and we are already pining for everyone and everything . We will definitely be back !!

The Best of Villas

Edmundo Suffolk England
Review Submitted: June 23, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We were a party of grandparents, children and grandchildren and this villa suited us all extremely well. The Villa is spacious, attractively decorated, more like a private home than a villa for rent, and cannot be faulted.Although there is a local bus service every hour into Kas I think you would need to have a car.Quite a slope and a good few steps up to the villa might be a problem for the very old or infirm. We were a bit anxious about small children (2-3 year olds) and the pool but we soon managed to keep a close eye on them and have a relaxing time too.We also had to make sure the children didn't climb up the perimeter railing on one side of the property which has quite a big drop on the other side, but the children soon learnt not to!
The biggest bonus was the marvellous cooking of Fatma and the barbecueing of her husband. Each evening we sat down to the most delicious meal, and were so generously provided for that there was plenty left over for a brunch the next day.A great treat for the cooks in the family, and,of course, everyone else.
We tended to stay in the villa, apart from shopping everyday or two,but on previous visits we have enjoyed eating out in Kas and taking boat trips, as well as a little local sightseeing eg Ruins at Xanthos and Letoon.
We found everyone very friendly and would recommend this villa very highly. We hired a car and had transfers to and from Dalaman arranged through andifli, based in Kas,and they were most helpful.Would recommend them, too. We had a great family holiday!

Left us wanting for nothing!

This is the fourth time I have organized a villa stay with friends on the Mediterranean, with never a repeated location, simply because we enjoy exploring new regions. However, I can honestly say we would love to return to Villa Myrajer. It was by far the most lovely, best equipped, and most comfortable of any of the villas we've visited and there have been some wonderful places. The location couldn't be better - quiet and peaceful, but still only a few minutes to the center of Kas by car. With the dolmus buses, we didn't always use our cars. Kas is just fabulous - quaint and friendly with so many opportunities for activities and sightseeing we barely scratched the surface. I agree wholeheartedly with other reviewers about all of the pluses at Villa Myrajer, yet I cannot say enough about Fatma and Oktay - such lovely people who made our stay even that much more pleasant and relaxing (thank you both!). A few things to note: we were 8 adults and the villa was plenty spacious for all of us - with comfortable spaces for both interacting and finding solitude. Moreover the owner has decorated so beautifully, one never feels the decor has been limited because it's rented. Rather, it feels like someone cares about their guests to open such a beautiful home for their stay - such lovely touches everywhere. The place was spotless and kept that way throughout our time there. Doing an initial big grocery shop for the week was quick and easy with Fatma by our side, and picking up odds and ends subsequently was simple. One of us would just pop into the market on our way back as misc. items where needed. I had a leg injury for the first part of my visit and can understand how the stairs from the driveway to the house (2 levels up) could potentially be a challenge for anyone w/ mobility problems, but otherwise this home is perfect for young and old, friends or families. We scheduled a second day on Fatma's brother's boat, because the first was so wonderful. He is as warm and gracious as his sister (and has a fabulous selection of music!) Our time on the boat was one of the highlights of our week. Communications with the villa's owner were very smooth and all planning was quite simple. I recommend this lovely villa enthusiastically and extend our thanks to Jenny and David for sharing it with us.

Wonderful Kas

We have been several times to Kas and what makes our holidays so special is staying at Myrajer. The sheer comfort, care and of course the wonderful food cooked by Fatma which is Mediterranean cooking at its best adds altogether another dimension to our Turkish Holiday. I highly recommend this wonderful place and cannot wait to get back.

Splendid

Review Submitted: May 11, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We have been very much overwhelmed about the villa and the service provided by Fatma and Oktay. Everything is described as stated by Jenny.

It has been a relaxing time knowing that helping hands have been around. So to say, privacy with the comfort of a luxury 5 star Hotel.

You will definitely need a car for your purchases or you can deal with Fatma the purchasing by giving her extra money for the gasoline, etc. Fatmas food is çok lezzetli (tasty).

Watch out the markets on every Friday. And book very much in advance. We have been in April at Myrajer and couldn’t manage to book for August/September once more.

Jenny and David do look very much after the villa. So you feel very comfort any time. We will come again!

Magnifique!

Cinq Etoiles!
