Review Submitted: August 10, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My husband and I wanted to get out of the heat for a few days, but didn't want a long drive. Jenny's cabin was wonderful. Secluded but yet close enough to Pine if you needed something. First day we arrived it was raining (which we loved) and then the weather was great. Went hiking up behind cabin up to road; drove into Pine and Strawberry; but mainly relaxed at the cabin. Saw two deer and an elk. We can't wait to go back again. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend without having to drive hours to get to location.

The big 50 celebration

Chandler Robin Chandler, Arizona
Review Submitted: October 31, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
We went up to Jenny's cabin the first weekend in October to celebrate the big "50" for a friend of mine and a "girls' weekend". Had a blast. Everyone loved the cabin and the location, as I knew they would. Spent our time at the cabin - hiking, playing games and watching movies. Had a picnic lunch and hiked at the Natural Bridge. Can't wait to go again.

Relaxing, Comfortable Getaway

Hilites Chandler, AZ
Review Submitted: September 28, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
What a delightful time we had at this comfortable cabin in the woods. Two sets of grandparents, with three granddaughters enjoyed a relaxing time laying in the hammocks, swinging on an old fashion tree swing and hiking through the forest. The cabin was clean and had all the comforts of home. While there were neighbor cabins in the distance, the cabin was well secluded and surrounded by pines. We got to enjoy seeing deer, hummingbirds and squirrels during our stay. Our cabin owner was most gracious and made sure we were well taken care of. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice relaxing getaway.

We went up to get out of Phoenix for a couple days. We were very excited that it was tucked away where you could really enjoy the peace and quiet. Time spent on the deck was our favorite and the lighting provided by the owner makes for nice ambiance at night. We look forward to coming back again!

Review Submitted: July 20, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Stayed for a weekend getaway with five ladies. Welcome retreat from the heat of the valley. What a great time we had. Hiked, had a wonderful dinner at the Rimside Grill, shopped for antiques in Pine/Strawberry, Enjoyed the fresh baked goods from the Ponderosa Market, yoga and massages at the Pine Massage Therapy and Yoga studio. Played games (Vintage Bingo Set in the cabin). So much fun.

Quiet & Cozy

Country Nana Mesa, AZ
Review Submitted: July 10, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Thanks to the owners, my family has July 4th memories that will never be forgotten, doe grazing on the hillside and squirrels to greet us each morning, fishing at Woods Canyon Lake, swimming at Fossil Creek, homemade icecream & shopping in town, the best Fireworks show ever in Payson. All 9 of us slept well, kitchen had everything to cook large meals.Very large deck with great views, lounge chairs to relax and read, a hammock for dad and bikes, just had to fill tires with air. Nice evening walks in the neighborhood. Husband said we did good finding this rental!

Beautiful and Peaceful

My family had a reunion near Pine, and we stayed here at 'Jenny's Dream' for a full week while in Arizona. The owners met us and welcomed us warmly. We were very satisfied with the cabin, it was comfortable, clean and so quiet and peaceful, my Dad slept in past 8 am for the first time in his enitre life. That tells you how relaxing the cabin is.

There is a calming aura that makes this cabin the perfect getaway. The town of Pine is fabulous as well. The people were very welcoming. Be sure to stop in the Rock Shop and see Dana, a very knowledgable and quite interesting character of Native American heritage.

Overall, the town, the cabin and the people were well worth traveling to. We highly recommend this getaway to families, couples, or nature lovers. You won't be dissappointed!!

Terrific Cabin With Terrific Owners

JimP Surprise, AZ
Review Submitted: January 3, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
This is a beautiful cabin that is much roomier than it looks in the photos. A large deck overlooks a lovely, pine-filled ravine with glorious views of the rim towering above. One doesn't have to leave the property to find a peaceful walking trail -- there's one right in the backyard that enters the Tonto National Forest. The owners of this cabin couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. If you are looking for a cabin getaway near Pine or Strawberry, I highly recommend this one!

Truly Blessed!

Annie & Sal Chandle,Az
Review Submitted: December 19, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
My Girlfriend and I are truly blessed. We have been fortunate enough to have made many trips, we look forward to it every year. For us it is a spiritual retreat, we can't get enough of the beauty and peace. My favorite time is morning, on the deck having my coffee, over looking the forest. Bring binoculars, and keep an eye out for the blue birds.

We pretty much have a routine, unload the car, go into town do a little antique shopping then stop off at the Ponderosa (market) to stock up on snacks and freshly baked pastries. Yum!
Our advise is ...enjoy!
(Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin)
