We spent New years in Tamarindo at the Casa Valencia ! It was a fabulous vacation and a New Years that we will all remember for the rest of our lives. There were bonfires on the beach and tons of fireworks, that are on any other day illegal in Tamarindo. The place was amazing and even more spectacular than I had expected from the pictures. Tamarindo has some fabulous places to eat, and although we planned to make a lot more of our meals than we did, it was just too tempting to go out to eat since there was a new place to go every night . We went with our parents and family friends to Tamarindo and it was the best spot for this combination. We were able to do lots of day trips with our parents, but at night we had lots of places to go for a good party!
We all enjoyed our stay at Casa Valencia even more than we had anticipated. The staff was accomidating, the neighbours were fabulous, the weather was fantastic and the beaches were beautiful!!
Thank you for having us! We hope to do it again soon ! :)

We spent our Christmas family vacation in Tamarindo. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. The beach is only a minute walk from the house. I would recommend staying here to my family & friends in the future.

I have to say that we very much enjoyed staying in Casa Valencia on our recent trip to Costa Rica. I traveled there with my family to get married and decided to have the wedding in the garden of the complex. It was a beautiful setting for such an important occasion and I am so happy that we chose this beautiful place to start our new life together. The home was immaculate and gorgeous with all the beautiful colours and ammenities. I would recommend it to any of my friends or family and hope to return to celebrate many anniversaries in the future! Thank you Debra for all your help before our arrival... your attention to detail was very much appreciated and made the whole experience a wonderful one.

Great experience, Great area, Town is growing, beaches were lots of fun, kids learned to surf. We caught a 7 foot sail fish that made our fishing event a success (although a bit costly and long).
Lots of little resturants at reasonable prices (Pizzahut, Subways and TCBY for the kids).

House was nice, great pool, lots of comfort. Local stores had basics for food and drink that made it easy for breakfast and lunch at the house.

Interenet was an issue in so far that it was up and down allot. So if you need to work don't assume this will always be available.

We flew into Liberia and took a car to the house (highly advise) and rented scooters while we were in town. This ended up being the best way to get around

We highly enjoyed our trip to Costa Rica and our stay at Casa de Valencia made it very comfortable. The pool and proximity to the beach were perfect. We cooked several times in the kitchen and everything we needs we there ready for us to use. I cant wait for my next trip back to this house.

My daughter and I traveled to Costa Rica and stayed at Casa de Valencia for a month. It was a vacation that neither of us will ever forget. The house was beautiful with its bright, happy colors and its modern conveniences. The kitchen was stocked with spices and pots and lovely dishes. And the air conditioning, when needed worked great! The barbecue outside was an extra perk! In a country where Martha Stewart has not yet been discovered , this house was decorated beautifully and smartly and was also immaculate.

Outside the house there were beautiful flowers, trees and a pool. Just across the street was a little path to the beach. While I live on the beach in Marina del Rey, there is no comparison. Also across the street was a wonderful woman who teaches yoga and right up the street was a 4 star hotel. You could have privacy if you wanted it or be with people when you wanted that too. There were horses up the road and often monkeys calling to us.

During the month we learned to live like the locals. We walked into town to grocery shop and to visit our new found friends who worked on the fishing boats, sold goods on the street and in the local stores.

Every day brought another adventure as we discovered hiking paths, watched soccer players on the beach or explored a neighboring town by foot.

Tamarindo and Casa de Valencia will live in our hearts forever...and if you are ever there, please tell Columbia at Pedro's Pescadero that Prissi says "hello".

Our stay at Casa Valencia was wonderful. It's the perfect location for the beach and easy walk to the town for shopping and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and the pool area beautifully landscaped. Our daughter loved the iguanas, monkeys, and birds we saw just while sitting and relaxing outside on the property. We will definitely be a repeat visitor!

We had a great family vacation at Casa de Valencia. The villa met all our needs - tastefully decorated, well supplied kitchen and plenty of linens.

The compound was clean and well staffed with a pool and pleasant poolside area.

The location is perfect, with a two min. stroll down to one of the best beaches in Costa Rica. The sandy beach and the gentle waves are great for all ages. Most of the best restaurants are within walking distance.

Our family is hoping to make this an annual event and will not consider staying anywhere but Casa de Valencia.

We had the best time at Casa De Valencia! It was on the quiet side of Tamarindo but still a short walk into town through the beach, which was just across the street. the property was surrounded by tropical gardens that featured iguanas and even a monkey from time to time! the house was stylishly decorated and painted, and had a nice art collection on display thoughout the whole house- the AC got super cool, the kitchen was well stocked, and it even had a washer/dryer, there were 4 of us and we were all very comfortable, we're already planing our next trip back!

Casa De Valencia is an easy, comfortable and colorful home. The layout makes it easy to move about the house. The furniture is stylish and comfortable. The decor is colorful and festive. The kitchen is well designed and fully equipped for home cooking. Eat breakfast on the patio as the pool and surrounding garden beckon you. It's walking distance to everything in Tamarindo and yet on the quiet side of town. It's the perfect place to hang. My husband and I will be returning in 2009 for our third trip to this lovely tropical Paradise.
