Great getaway for young families!

A week just wasn't enough! The villa went well beyond expectations. The layout was perfect for us and our three young children plus grandma and grandpa. So much to keep our boys excited and busy. The pool is surrounded by olive trees, making it less visible to the toddler eye and not so easy to get to - I never worried. The boys loved digging for fossils nearby and the sunset from the olive grove is amazing! We often stay at "self-catering" rentals, but none have ever felt so much like home. This is a credit to Stephanie, who not only cooked a fantastic meal and told us the best places to go, but she also has an incredible gift of hospitality. The result is pure relaxation at Villa Cerqualto! Such a great value for everything that is offered! I am recommending it to all my friends! Can't wait to return!!

A Great House, A Great Home

We have stayed in a number of holiday homes in Italy over the last couple of years. This home is the best we have ever had. It is excellent and outstanding because of a number of reasons: very clean, a beautiful garden & swimming pool, good furniture, a great BBQ, good beds and showers, great atmosphere, close to a number of nice villages and towns, a very friendly owner and feeling "away from the crowd" without being too isolated. The pictures on the web site do understate the quality of this property.

We had a lovely week in this wonderful villa that even the unseasonable rain couldn't dampen. The villa is in a beautiful position surrounded by gardens and fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. Our host Stephanie made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and when they weren't splashing about in the pool the children enjoyed playing with her dog! We are already talking about returning next year and would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere relaxing to explore Tuscany and Umbria.
Owner's Response: some renters are happy to get some insider tips, help or just like to have a chat and a glass of vine together with me.
the ground are large and if you would like to be left alone and just relax that is very easy.
You will see me watering the vast garden and many plants, clean the pool and take care of the house and surroundings. The owner!

We could not have found a better place for our honeymoon, it is a paradise! It was a dream to have a house for us, with exquisite dinners cooked and severed for us. We felt like home, had the lovely pool for just us. At the terrace of the blue room we had our morning coffee and enjoyed the lovely nature and splendid views. We would like to come back soon.

luxurious feast for the senses

Review Submitted: January 12, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2007
Everything was on our holidays has been a luxuious feast for the senses - from the delicious meal you cooked on our first night, to the magical sight of foxes, glow-worms and bee-eaters, the chorus of frogs and the refreshing thunderstorm that broke the heat on our last day.
This is a wonderful place to rereat from civilization and we feel totally regenerated.
thank you for sharing the Villa and this part of Italy with us and we hope to return again with our friends and family one day soon. Caroline and Rob, Leamington Spa, England
Owner's Response: dear Caroline and Rob, thank you so much for writing such a nice letter.
If you would like to come again I can give you a disount of 5% in high season and 10% in off season.
It would be lovely to have you back here.
Best wishes to you Stephanie

I just wanted to say thank you for a lovely holiday, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Your house is beautiful and the surrounds so peaceful. Despite only one weeks holiday we all felt suitably relaxed. You made us very welcome and were very helpful to us.
Many thanks again,
Clare
