Review Submitted: October 22, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Cozy and quaint ground level flat right in the heart of lovely Nottinghill and exceptionally quiet. Well equiped with all amenities, beautiful English garden and private secure courtyard entrance. Located close to bus and tube systems as well as boutiques, reataurants and it's famous Portobello Market. Owners very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to all and would return any time.

Noteworthy Notting Hill flat ...

We've had two marvelous stays in this lovely self-catering garden flat.
The proprietors are accommodating and friendly, house-keeping is well attended and we enjoyed all amenities, including wireless high-speed internet. There's good access to grocery shopping on nearby Westbourne Grove. Shopping from high-end shops to the thrift shops and of course Portobello Road market is close at hand. The bus services are all very close and convenient. We happily and heartily recommend it while reluctantly not wanting to let the word out ... we're afraid of not being able to get a booking! ;-)

Great Stay

Love this apartment, plenty of room, felt like home away from home, very comfortable and clean and cosy. We were there in winter and it was very warm, lovely to come back to after a day out. It is so close to everything, great bus service, restaurants, cafes etc just around the corner, it was our second stay and hopefully we will stay again. The owners are delightful and very helpful. The road is close to everything but very quiet, we were very happy there.

It's a very convenient place to stay. The apartment is roomy and well-located. We had a very pleasant 15-day stay there. We intend to rent the same apartment next time

Wonderfully quiet and comfortable studio in a great location. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of good food shops just round the corner, so self-catering is easy. But there is also a good choice of restaurants. Its easy to get into town on the bus or tube, too. A really nice place to come back to! We really can't add much to the previous reviews which are all spot on. This was our second stay in the studio and we hope to stay there again soon - if it is not booked up!

The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location. The street is very quiet, but close to a lively area with restaurants, shops, supermarkets and plenty of bus stations to all different parts of London. The owners are extremely helpful and charming.

Perfect for a couple, cozy and convenient

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of this property for a week in London. It's the perfect space for two people, fully equipped, warm and inviting after a day of sightseeing. Our landlords were gracious and helpful, but never intrusive. The location is perfect: quiet, but right around the corner from all amenities, including food markets, a wealth of restaurants and coffee shops, the wonderful Portobello Road market and, yes, truly fashionable shopping. (Men: check out Aubin and Wills in Westbourne Grove!) Bus connections to all of London are only steps away, and the Notting Hill Gate tube station is a few minutes' walk. We felt safe in the neighborhood and right at home when we stepped into the flat at the end of the day.

I spent a lovely week in that flat. The description was accurate, the property very clean, the owners very helpful. I have already recommended this property to friends and family who want to visit London for a reasonable price. It is very well situated, lots of shops and food markets, within walking distance of two tube stations. Great !

The studio is quite large and confortable. You can use a small yard which is very pleasant in summer. The area is very pleasant. The flat is close to Portobello road and its flee market, Kensington gardens and many shops and restaurants. It's also not far from the tube station from which you can easily reach London centre and all the interesting touristic sites. The landlords are charming persons. I had a very nice stay there. This flat is worth its price.

Lovely garden flat

Review Submitted: October 30, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Lovely garden flat, we felt at home in a moment. The area is very pleasant, central but really quiet. Groceries and a lot of shops are just round the corner, so self-catering is easy (kitchen is well equiped). Bus stations and the tube station are really close so you can reach every tourist feature pretty easily.
The landlady is a very charming and helpful person. We had a very pleasant 7-day stay. We can recommend it to everyone.
