Villa de La familia Excellent

We spent 4 days in Villa de la Familia. Our stay was flawless and we were very well taken care of. Gabino, Luis, Isabella and Fabiola (Isabella's assistant) were wonderful, informative, and very accomodating. The house was spacious, the beds were comfortable, sleeping quarters were air conditioned and all of the food that we purchased was prepared specially or seasoned to our specifications by Isabella. We were awakend each morning by the aroma of fresh coffee and a prepared meal. The fruit salad and the Mango smoothies are a must.
Luis made sure that the pool was kept clean and filled, the grounds were well kept and the property was secure. The exterior bar and the covered dining area with the new rocking chairs were perfect for our barbecues and outside entertaining.
There are only a couple of things that could have made the accomodations more comfortable for us but they certainly won't stop us from returning. Air conditioning in the living room, and T.V.'s in each of the rooms. After a day or two of of kickin it with the fella's, all of whom play XBOX except me, it would have been nice to have been able to hide away in my room without the need for outside distractions. Precisely why I'm glad I decided to take that extra day to myself.
VIlla de la Familia is a must stay. It is great for families with or without small children, couples, and groups. You can't beat it's proximity to all of the local attractions. I will be back at least twice a year. Once with the fella's and once with the family should be enough to fill my D.R. void. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality. It was great.

I never give perfect scores, that leaves you with no where to improve and that is highly improbable. But this trip has made it to my top five list of all time. And all of that is due to the level of service and accomodations that were given to us. Couldn't have really asked for more.

I had a PERFECT experience in D.R. Villa de Familia is so extremely comfortable and beautiful and pleasant. Isabella is an amazing cook, and so sweet. We felt very spoiled. Luis was super friendly, and helped us put together an amazing Barbeque on my birthday. If I return to D.R., I would definitely like to do it the same way....

As soon as you walk in the front door of Villa de la Familia, you're greeted by such colorful decor, which matches the colors on the patio and pool area. Very tranquil surroundings that were oh so private and enjoyable. The food was great as were the roomy accommodations found in this six bedroom, three bathroom villa. We were within walking distance to the beach and attractions, plus there were guided tours available. I'm hoping to return some day to this little piece of Heaven.

We stayed at the Villa over New Years. Everyone was in agreement that it was the best vacation ever! From Gabino picking us up at the airport to the moment we left, everything went very smoothly. Ruth was wonderful - her cooking was excellent and she was a huge help at the grocery store. The pool and house were kept in perfect order. We did many activities - snorkeling, ATVing, white water rafting in the mountains - some arranged by Gus and others on our own. Everyone was friendly & the weather was lovely. Susi, the owner, was SO helpful - as I had not rented a house over the internet before and had many questions. I would love to return and stay for longer next time. I don't think anyone would be disappointed here.

We stayed in La Familia over the Christmas holiday and it was the best holiday I can remember. The staff was wonderful, the house very comfortable. A man named Gus came to the Villa and arranged all the extra activities for us. I would highly recommend this.We deep sea fished, went scuba, snorkeling,white water rafting and a jungle jeep trip. All were excellent and much better than the mass transit from the local resorts. I would return in a minute if I could! I thought the groceries were expensive, but less than eating out, and much nicer. You can stay here and feel welcome and safe. The Dominican people were encountered were ALL very friendly and gracious. Misha
