Reviews of Property: Gorgeous airy and light home; available for holidays

We had the pleasure of staying at this home for several days in early December. We wanted something very close to the action...shopping, eating, etc...and we found it in this lovely home. Cleanliness was an important factor for us, so we were very pleased upon arrival that it was spotless. With the 3 bedrooms upstairs it slept 6 adults and then 2 teens on an air matress on the first floor. All was very comfortable. There are two baths, one full, one half, which came in handy b/c everyone could use a bathroom in the morning without putting out the rest of the family. The house was spacious enough for all 8 of us, and we left with no complaints whatsoever. There's even a full washer/dryer to do your own laundry, which helped us pack a little lighter for our trip. We definitely saved money on multiple hotel rooms and had a much better time hanging out in a real house as opposed to being cooped up in separate hotel rooms. At night we could all watch tv together in the living room or play games at the dining room table. We had all the comforts of home, but on vacation. So much better than a hotel. All in all we had a fabulous time and could not have asked for a better host!

My family is so glad we chose your house for our Christmas vacation in LA. We loved the shopping and food within walking distance, but we also loved that the house was such a comfortable place to hang out. We used the fireplace every day and cooked almost every night in the great kitchen. Eric was also a wonderful host from start to finish (incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible). Definitely would recommend this house as an alternative to a hotel, especially for groups that like to cook!

laws home, and I'm delighted we did. The house
was very clean and comfortable, it didn't have a
typical "hotel" smell but was instead fresh and
clean, all of the rooms were spacious and nicely
appointed, the wifi internet worked fast and
flawlessly and best of all, it is very close to nice
coffee shops and an upscale shopping mall. All in
all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would
recommend it very highly.

I only have good things to say about this fantastic place and the owner's warm and friendly personality and hospitality. It feels really fresh and new, and the furniture is fantastic and funky...very cool finds from mid-century to modern. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quite large (the master bedroom is HUGE). I was there with family, and we never felt crowded or on top of one another. The kitchen is quite a sight, with a massive refrigerator anchoring the room...I think that fridge could hold food for 20 people for a month! However, we didn't wind up doing much cooking because of the walking-distance proximity to lots of great restaurants. If you are looking for a home-away-from-home in LA, look no further. My family and I were Eric's first guests and could not have been more pleased. Eric was a gracious host and the house was located in a great area. The rooms were bright and large, the kitchen was fully functional. Eric immediately responded to a minor problem to our complete satisfaction. Having stayed at this home for a week I can honestly say that Eric bends over backward to make you feel at home.

Fresh towels, yummy snacks, really really fast WiFi and all sorts of unexpected cool little shops within a 5 minute walk (and yet the street is completely residential and very quiet.)

I can't think of anything the owner could have done to improve my stay.

The home was absolutely lovely! It really added to my family's vacation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The home is in a safe area that close to good restaurants and shopping. The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend!!!
