Supurb weeks holiday at Mas Noel, weather was beautiful, accommodation was clean and very well maintained. We all enjoyed the pool and trips to the beach and surrounding villages. The trip on the little yellow train was most enjoyable a really nice day out. Special thanks to Julie who was most helpful in every way.

We stayed in june 2009 and had a fantastic time.. The facilities are excellent, it was nice to l;et the kids play with worrying about the pool area as it is enclosed with a child (and sometimes adult) proof gate.
Julie and her family made us feel very welcome.
The property was clean and well equipped and spacious.
St cyprien plage is only a short distance away as is perpignan and are both well worth a visit. L'arago in perpignan and hidalgo in st cyprien are pricey but well worth the money.

Perfect place to chill out

Strathaven Scotland
Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We have just returned from a wonderful week spent at Mas Noell. We stayed in the barn which was just perfect , the rustic feel to this property made it very easy to relax and make it home for the week. Our boys aged 11 and 15 loved the chilled out approach of our host Julie, who made every effort to make sure we made the most of our holiday. Free access to the pool table and table tennis was a real bonus especially in the evenings when this gave the boys a chance to socialise with the other children, (the Irish girls were a big attraction)
One of the highlights of our week was the food and wine tasting evening organised by Julie, special mention has to be made of the apricot tart which was truly out of this world.
We flew from Manchester to Perpigan and hired a car with sat nav which was invaluable for finding our way around the area, although it must be said that the sat nav does not recognise Mas Noell as a known location, however the directions given by Julie were accurate and we managed to find it with only one wrong turn.
All of this was topped off by incredible weather and a lovely quiet pool to cool off in.

An oasis of calm

We have just returned from a week's stay in the Cottage which provided us with very comfortable accommodation in an area with plenty to do for all age groups.

We particularly enjoyed the open-top yellow train ride in the Pyrenees and the meal we had at the Casa da Lie in Thuir on the way back; a day in Carcassonne (get there early, by 09.30, and you'll have the place more or less to yourself); the Dali museum in Figueras and the trip back along the Spanish/French coastline; and an evening trip by train to Collioure with an excellent meal of fish on the beach at le Casot.

Our host, Julie, deserves a special mention for her exceptional helpfulness during our stay: she will know why! The only reason I do not give the property/location a 5 is because of the difficulty in navigating around locally. If you have a European satnav, take it! Failing that, ask Julie if you can rent hers.

Mas Noell

Andrew and Debbie Newcastle, England
Review Submitted: August 12, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
Mas Noell was an excellent base to explore this varied and interesting corner of France. The enclosed courtyard, games room and well kept gardens were ideal for our younger children to explore in safety and the large clean swimming pool was the high point of the holiday for them. In the hot weather we appreciated the air conditioned apartment, which was well equipped and in good order. The proprietors' hospitality was excellent - not intrusive, but with enough opportunity to socialise with others in the neighbourings properties.

Wonderful Holiday

Review Submitted: July 7, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
My wife and I and our three kids spent two wonderful weeks at Mas Noell in June. This was our second year in a row staying there and we stayed in a different property each year. Both were of a very high standard, clean and well maintained. We particularly liked the barbecue and patio with each property, perfect for winding down after a busy day in the pool or out and about in the surrounding area. The kids loved the pool and cycling on the bikes provided each morning to St Cyprien village to the boulangerie for croissants. The central courtyard is perfect for them to play in without parents having to worry where they are and the games room has plenty to keep them occupied. The owners were very helpful and took a lot of time to recommend things to do in the area and were a great help to us when my wife had to spend a couple of days in the local hospital last year.

The surrounding area and towns have plently to keep all the family occupied. The beaches are lovely and the Pyrenees are a 40 minute drive away. The kids loved Aqualand, Argeles Aventure, pony tekking, Luna funfair and Les Angles animal park to mention just a few. There are many great restaurants in St Cyprien, Argeles and Elne. Our favourite was The Flowers in Argeles Village. It is very reasonable, the food is great and they are wonderful with the kids.

We would recommend Mas Noell to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in an area that offers so much to do and see.

A totally relaxing holiday!

We wanted a quiet, relaxing break after a very hectic year! We could not have asked for more! The owners went out of there way to ensure we had a restful, relaxing break. Although the owners live on site - there is never an intrusion into your privacy. We had bikes to use on the quiet country roads, flat too! we even cycled all the way to Argeles, flat all the way! The pool is wonderful, surrounded by lovely trees and the sound of birdsong. We would DEFINITELY recommend this property, it is in a beautiful area, between sea and mountains, and we WILL be back! Thanks for everything Julie.

I visited Mas Noell with my three teenage sons for a week.
The property was as described in the brochure and on the website. The beautiful tree in the courtyard has recently beed pruned to allow dappled shade.
We very much enjoyed the pool and used the bikes available at the property every day.
The properties were clean and well equipped and the owners went out of their way to ensure we had anything we needed. The games room was a bonus when the weather was wet. The local area has so much to offer by way of attractions. We enjoyed the treetop adventure on the outskirts of Argeles (6km); the Salvador Dali museum in Figueras, Spain (75km); and sampling local produce from markets etc. I enjoyed a traffic free cycle alongside the canal adjacent to the property all the way to the coast. I would certainly recommend the property to a friend. We would like to go again.
