Perfect place to stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat! The owner, Bill, was a wonderful host…always pleasant and accommodating, yet never overbearing. He was around when we needed him and gave us our space and privacy at all other times. The apartment itself has all the amenities of home, is within walking distance of 2 great beaches, and is only a 3 mile drive along the coastline to downtown shops and restaurants. We cooked several meals on the grill and spent some time lounging by the in-ground pool in the lush backyard. We stayed in the top floor unit and the view was gorgeous! Oh, and let’s not forget about the price…what an incredible value for all that is included! Our vacation was truly relaxing because of this place…100% better than staying at a hotel. Many thanks to Bill for welcoming us into his home.

Fantastic Value for the Money

This place was fantastic!!! We stayed in the middle unit and it was enormous. The full kitchen was well appointed. Having full size laundry with supplied detergent was an added bonus. This unit is great for travelling with teenagers because the second bedroom was equipped with three single beds. Beaches are near by and so is fine dining. The pool was an added bonus and is beautifully landscaped. For the men there is a barbeque by the pool and the tank was always full. Great job Bill!!!

My two kids and I had a fantastic time in Hawaii. They still can’t stop talking about it (even after five months). The accommodations were absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed Hawaii so much that we are planning on coming back as soon as we can. Bill was a wonderful host and I would absolutely stay there again! I was thoroughly impressed!

I just returned from a 7 night stay in the studio apartment at Hale O Pua Lani II. The price was fantastic. The unit was clean, well-equipped and the wireless internet access was fabulous to have. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I just returned from an awesome week in Kona. Many thanks to Bill for letting us stay at his triplex and for being such a helpful and considerate host. The unit/lanai is very spacious and comfortable. The landscaping is beautiful. It has great panoramic views and is conveniently located near Kahaluu beach (great place for snorkelling!!!). Although it may be awhile, my husband and I are looking forward to coming back again.

My fiance and I had an excellent time at Bill's condo. As others have mentioned, it is in a great location and has many amenities. We stayed in the middle unit, which has a huge lanai and lovely views. There were so many things that we weren't expecting that we were grateful to have - beach mats, extra books to read, Hawaii info,...the list goes on. We will be recommending this place to our friends and look forward to the day that we can return.

My sister and I stayed here for 10 days last February ... we had had a lovely stay. Bill was nice but unintrusive...helped us open a tough bottle wine even!! The apartment is clean and comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped... the pool was clean and well maintained We will stay again!

Aloha Bill!! Lee and I had a wonderful week. Words cannot express what a magical week it was. We were coming up with our favorite parts and everything we did was our favorite- including our accommodations! We could not have asked for more. The view was spectacular. You could HEAR the ocean and not just see it. Beaches so nearby. Loved the neighborhood. We felt like family. We loved the Big Island and staying here made it all the more enjoyable. We hate to be back home but we know we have a home away from home now!!! Thanks again.

This was our first time renting from an owner.
I would love to do again soon. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed having Hale O Pu'a Lani to stay in. It was very comfortable, clean, and close to lots of fun things to do. The owner was helpful at all times.

What a great time we had!! The Big Island, and particularily Kona, are the only place one needs to go to experience true paradise. Beautiful weather, clean beaches,friendly people and amazing ocean sports.
Bill's accomodations are top notch and feel like a home. They are well appointed, centrally located and Bill is always around should you have a question about the island.We loved the private pool and enjoyed drinking a good chilled glass of wine while watching the Hawaii sunsets. Truly a thing of beauty. We plan to make this trip every two years and would have no hesitation in recommending Bill's home to anyone who wants to really relax.
