Dear Michael, thanks again for your hospitality. My daughter (15) and I spent one week at your appartment in October 2009. What we liked about your appartment? Everything! We were pleasantly surprised to find everything you might ever need , from shampoo to hairdryer and tv to i-pod stereo and computerconnectivity. There's a washer-dryer in the basement and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The appartment and hallways are spotlessly clean ,thanks to your cleaningteam. No signs whatsoever of insects or worse . I chose your appartment because of the interiordesign and yes ,it was beautifull. Just like the pictures but bigger. I liked the private entrance and never heard any of the other guests. It's nice and quiet and we liked the(far away) sound of the subway (very authentic). That subway is just around the corner , And being two women. we never ever felt unsafe in the neighbourhood or subwaystation, day or night! The subwaystation is about 60 meters away and has a policestation in it and a 24 hour booth. The busstop is right in front of the house. It will take longer then the subway, but you see a lot more.In the neighbourhood you can see nice restored brownstones, you can walk to the Hudson River(10 minutes). Go see a gospelservice at the church half a block to you right on 145th street, on Sunday at 11, it's great! You were very enthousiastic about your neighbourhood and I think it needs people like you.
We found out that the cheapest way (yes we're dutch) to get from JFK to your place, if you haven't got tons of luggage, is to buy a 2 ride metrocard(that's enough for 2 people) at the magazinebooth when you get out the gate. Then take the Q10 bus to Lefferts Avenue and transfer to the A train( metro) that will take you straight to the appartment. Triptime is appr. 1h45 and will cost you a little over 2 dollar a person. If you get out of the turnstiles take two lefts and your on the right side of the crossing, Would I recommend you to my friends? Most definately! But of course we will beat them to it!

My friends and I spent 4 days at this property and had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed in the Garden Suite which is located on the bottom floor and had its own little entrance, which was perfect. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was also perfect, with the subway right around the corner. From this subway line you could access the blue line, which will take you to many of NYC's hot spots ie, Columbus Circle, Times Square, Meatpacking District, SOHO, West Village, etc. without ever having to transfer trains. The subway runs 24 hours which is convenient, so when my friends and I went out at night we would take the subway to mid/downtown, but cab it home, and the cost was more or less around $20 depending on how far downtown you went.

Michael, is an absolute doll. He provided us with all the neccessary information and maps that we would need to get around and even provided us with great restaurant and nightlife suggestions.

I can't say enough good things about this place, I would definitely stay here again, without hesitation. Don't be wary about the fact that it is in Harlem, we were three girls travelling and we had no problems whatsoever. We even took a mini tour of the the neighbourhood on our first day and it was great.

Love this apartment, Love NYC, can't wait to go back!

A perfect find!

I decided to take my Mother on a trip to NYC for her 53rd birthday, just the two of us. I scoured the web hoping to find a great deal. Luckily I found 710 Suites. The Garden Suite was a perfect choice. Everything was in order from the second we got out of our cab. We were greeted by Michael and Squirrel who both took very good care of any needs we had. The suite was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The subway station was so close you didn't even have to walk across the street to get to it. There is a Starbucks, Grocery Store, Pharmacy, and lots of places to eat with in walking distance. We will be staying at 710 Suites on our next visit. I can't say enough good things about it. Michael is a wonderful person who takes great pride in his property and their guests. If you're lucky, you might even get a history lesson on Harlem and the surrounding area from him. Thank you so much for making this such a perfect place for us to stay.

Amazing!

I stayed at the Guest Suite with 2 friends for 2 weeks and I absolutely loved it. Firstly, we received a very warm welcome from the owner and he was kind enough to provide us with a map of the area. Secondly, the apartment was absolutely beautiful, it looks exactly like it does in the pictures apart from that its alot larger and it was very homely. The interior design is amazing, very artistic.Thirdly, the apartment conveniently had a dishwasher and laundry facilities. Fourthly, the location was great and it was easy to get to midtown Manhattan.
Overall I had a very pleasant experience at 710 Guest Suites, and would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

710 Guest Suites was an excellent experience. Fantastically designed, extremely comfortable with a very friendly and helpful host on hand.

I enjoyed the comfort and convenience of home but in a better setting.

I will be returning here for my next New York visit and highly recommend it.

Best Kept Secret in NYC!

My stay at the 710 Guest Suites was absolutely fabulous! I was greeted by the owner; who was impeccable with the details of preparation. The unit I occupied was the Garden Suite, which was even more beautiful than the photos provided on the HomeAway site. The unit is spacious and decorated with class and style which epitomizes the modern art of today's cosmopolitan Harlem mixed with the vintage culture of the historic brown stones of the Sugar Hill section where it is located.
I was born and raised in Harlem and experienced a sense of pride at the restoration this garden apartment proves. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit my family in Harlem again. My family members whom I entertained while there, also were in awe of the apartment and the beautiful garden where we dined in the warmth of the summer evening. I'm just sorry I have to share this great find with others who are fortunate enough to take advantage of it.

we really loved our summer stay 2009 in Sugar Hill a very nice part of Harlem.
we used the suite 4 and the garden suite both are very cosy, and Michael is a very kind and nice person in giving good advices for our stay in NYC.
the property is a browstone, very clean, climbing the steps was not too hard and the situation is perfect for a family with all your needs and accomodations around.
We found the best spot to stay in NYC and for sure we will come back soon !

First Time in NYC

I was an exchange student for a semester and decided to add on a sidetrip to NYC before going back home. The owner was absolutely fabulous and very welcoming of me and my friend. The owner was very accomodating of check in and check out times, even getting us a deal with a cab for our departure. Also everything was very organized, maps of the subway, map of the surrounding area facilities, all amenities were thoroughly thought out. Dryer, ironing board towels etc, all very accessible and of high quality. He recommended places to eat and see and when we had a problem with the cable television, he was very fast in his response and trying in to solve the problem. This place and the people there are absolute gems, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in NYC in a friendly, safe and classy comfortable atmosphere.
