Reviews of Property: Charming Apartment with large pool, by the sea in Blanes, Costa Brava.

We stayed in this rental flat in June 2009 as a family with three children (big age difference between them). Because of the children's wishes we had many and sometimes conflicting requirements to our holiday accommodation, and this flat fitted all of us marvellously.

First of all, booking and instructions were made hassle-free by the owner, who looked after every detail - money transfer, descriptions, driving instructions and lists of equipment in the flat. We have not encountered a single organisational difficulty throughout booking process or our stay in the flat.

Facilities, cleaning and equipment of the flat are all up to their description. The garden of the building is better than in the pictures - fresh, well-watered and well-cared for.

We shall recommend this property to friends and relatives, for its own merits, and also for the location and attractions around Blanes. All our children enjoyed what each of them wanted - aquapark and dolphins at Palafolls (close to Blanes, by bus or car), swimming pool that belongs to the property, sports fields in Blanes, very good playground for smaller children near the Blanes yacht haven and a trip to the botanic garden by open bus.

Use Mercadona supermarket (2 mins drive from the flat, by car, Europe street if we remember right) if you drive, or Caprabo supermarket (one min walk from the flat along the same street) if you walk, rather than any of the smaller supermarkets around.
