The condo was clean and well-kept with a nice lay-out. The air-conditioning and balcony were nice. Sandyport is a very quiet place to stay, with the exception of some construction noise as new homes are being built all around. There are 2 private beaches and a pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. It was easy and affordable to catch the jitney (bus) to down town Nassau about 20 minutes away, and to take a ferry to Paradise Island to visit the resort of Atlantis. You do not need a car here. There is a grocery store and Pizza Hut about 15 mins away walking, but there is a nicer one, City Market, about 25-30 mins walking distance away, or you can catch the jitney there and back. If you like a quieter vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, this is a good place to stay. Just 5-10 mins down the road where the resorts begin, it gets much busier. We highly recommend the Beach Club Cafe Restaurant which is set right on the beach overlooking the ocean; the Suga Shack has great breakfast; and the Oyster Bar is great for lunch and supper with live music some nights. My only complaint about the condo was it was not as well-stocked as other rentals we have stayed in - ie. no extra tiolet paper or paper towel, no laundry detergent, dish soap or dishwasher detergent, no DVD's or books, etc.
