GREAT VACATION!

NANCY AND JOE TYNGSBORO, MASS
Review Submitted: October 9, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
This was a great condo, very clean and quiet! It was right across the street from a beautiful beach.. we never had to wait long for the Jitney to take us into town and back to the.. The owner was very pleasant and always available when I had a question and gave a valuable information before our arival... it was nice to have the amenities of the condo because the restaraunts were very expensive and you could have a couple of meals at the condo. although even the supermarkets were expensive but still cheaper then going out every night to a restaraunt.. i would recommend this condo to anyone who is planning to vacation in Nassau... it will save you some money compare to the hotels prices and meals....this condo has everything even beach towels!!!

Great Spring Break Getaway!!!

Stefanie Philadelphia Philadelphia, PA
Review Submitted: March 18, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
My friends and I are in our senior year of college and we really wanted a quiet, but fun getaway. This was absolutely the perfect place! The condo was great, beautiful, and literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. The restaurants in the area were all kinda expensive (min. $20) but we cooked in a lot so the kitchen was extremely convenient (grocery store about a 5-10 minute walk)! There are 3 restaurants all either outside the condo or within a 5 min walking distance (Oyster & Provence literally outside condo & Beach Club was right on beach) The Beach club has GREAT food even though it's pricey. Also, there is a gelato/ice cream shop downstairs by the Oyster bar, which we all took advantage of!!! We spent most of our time on the beach across the street (it was practically empty everyday!), however, we did go to Cable Beach one day, which was really nice. You definitely don't need a car here and the jitney is very easy to catch. We all really loved the trip and would definitely come back! Thanks!!!

Bahamas Thanksgiving

BahamaSisters Allentown, PA
Review Submitted: December 17, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
My sister and I recently rented this fabulous condo over Thanksgiving. We've been vacationing in the Bahamas for years at the Atlantis, and we wanted to get away from the crowded resort life. We absolutely loved Sandyport and can't wait to go back. The condo was very clean, and very nicely furnished. We loved the layout and all the space. I was highly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner and Ursala, a local Bahamian woman always available for questions. I also loved the convenient location of the condo. Every morning we went to the quiet beach across the street. If it got chilly in the afternoon, we switched to the nice beach on the lagoon. This was the first vacation where my sister and I were able to fall asleep on a quiet beach! It was also great to be able to stock the condo with groceries from the nearby grocery store, and everyday we stopped by the convenient store right downstairs for Kaliks, the local beer. We loved eating dinner at the Beach Cafe.
I love the Bahamas, and now I love it even more since we discovered this condo at Sandyport.

Paradise in Nassau

Review Submitted: August 5, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We had an excellent vacation at this condo. The property is well kept and quiet, there are a couple very good restaurants at the resort. Oyster Bar and Provencials were our favorites. The condo was clean and had all the extras provided (linens, kitchen utensils, etc..), and there was plenty of space for our family. The owner was always available if questions would arise. We hope to visit again soon.

WONDERFUL!!

So glad we stayed Lexington, KY
Review Submitted: June 18, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This condo was everything you would ever want. It is right accross the street from a small public beach but it is still very private. The Sandyport area is great with restaurants and beautiful landscaping and they even have their own beach that goes into the saltwater harbor. A short jitney ride for $1 will get you to Cable Beach or downtown. We were so glad we stayed here. It was centrally located, but also gave us a nice tucked away feeling for those warm nights and beautiful sunsets.

Relaxing holiday

Kyla Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
Review Submitted: February 13, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
The condo was clean and well-kept with a nice lay-out. The air-conditioning and balcony were nice. Sandyport is a very quiet place to stay, with the exception of some construction noise as new homes are being built all around. There are 2 private beaches and a pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. It was easy and affordable to catch the jitney (bus) to down town Nassau about 20 minutes away, and to take a ferry to Paradise Island to visit the resort of Atlantis. You do not need a car here. There is a grocery store and Pizza Hut about 15 mins away walking, but there is a nicer one, City Market, about 25-30 mins walking distance away, or you can catch the jitney there and back. If you like a quieter vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, this is a good place to stay. Just 5-10 mins down the road where the resorts begin, it gets much busier. We highly recommend the Beach Club Cafe Restaurant which is set right on the beach overlooking the ocean; the Suga Shack has great breakfast; and the Oyster Bar is great for lunch and supper with live music some nights. My only complaint about the condo was it was not as well-stocked as other rentals we have stayed in - ie. no extra tiolet paper or paper towel, no laundry detergent, dish soap or dishwasher detergent, no DVD's or books, etc.
