Beautiful Custom Log Home

We have stayed here a couple times (in the summer and winter) and loved it! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. Super clean, tons to do. Great for just a get away with friends or with family and kids. Water and beach area is super clean too! :-) Can't wait to come back again!

We stayed at this beautiful vacation home in June 2006. Our whole group absolutely loved it. The home is very spacious and up to date. There was plenty of room for our whole group (14 in all). We really enjoyed the fishing off the dock and cruising the lake in the pontoon. The children enjoyed the swimming beach and playground setup. The yard was very spacious for a wide variety of yard games. We also enjoyed nightly campfires overlooking the lake (A great spot for cheap firewood is STAN'S Firewood in Akeley, MN). We really liked hottubbin beneath the bright starlit sky.
We visited Dorset,MN and did the Old Tyme photo which was alot of fun. We also visited the Moondance Ranch in Walker,MN which the kids thought was a blast. The boys also had time to hit a few rounds of golf at Tianna Country Club in Walker and Blueberry Pines in Menagha. Both were great courses with Blueberry Pines being a must play. Overall, our group had a wonderful time at this Great Vacation Property. So much in fact that we have already booked for 2007!!

Our family had a fabulous time at this cabin. The home was absolutely perfect for people of all ages with all the amenities and open space. There are endless activities for all to enjoy. Our family enjoyed pontoon boating, fishing, canoeing, swimming, watching nature (especially the loons and their babies), campfires, hot tubbing, biking,nature walks and great sunsets. There are also many indoor things that we enjoyed foosball, pool table, darts, card games, board games, movies and video games which made it hard to even get outside some days. This was definately one of our family vacations the kids will always remember. Thanks for such a great vacation opportunity. Itasca State Park with the mississippi headwaters and Dorset were hot spots to visit too.

Our group had such a great time at such a great place. It felt like home. There's plenty of space and amenities. It's so nice, that it's hard to leave the inside. The people in town were really nice and helpful too. We'll be back. Thanks for the good times.

We had the opportunity to stay at this cabin 26 June-3 July 04. The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean, tastefully decorated with all the amenities you'd ever need. It is a perfect family vacation cabin, bring the kids!
