Our stay at Udensville Exuma

We got back a week ago from a 2 week stay at Udensville. It was one of the best holidays ever! The apartment is great and much bigger than it looks. Brian and Larraine were brilliant and gave us loads of ideas on things to do and the best places to go.
The beach is literally at the end of the garden with no-one on it!
We actually got married in the gazebo in the garden and wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of Brian and Larraine - thank you so much.
We will definitely be going back.

We are just back from sixteen wonderful nights at Undensville.

beach is out of this world
safe for children
relaxing but lots to do if you wish
private but very helpful hosts
property was clean inside and out
home has all you need to cook in
area has very good places to eat out (be sure to try the local food)
We would go back in a heartbeat

We spent 2 fabulous weeks at Udensville in 2009 and can honestly say we would go back there tomorrow if we could. The house was immaculately clean and comfortable and fully equipped for every need. It is in a beautiful part of the island, only a few steps away from the beach but within easy reach of several bars, restaurants and perfect fishing spots. Brian and Larraine are extremely knowledgable about the area and can always recommend where to eat, or where to get a good deal on boat trips! The island is incredibly beautiful yet unspoilt by crowds of tourists, and offers a real chance to "get away from it all". One place to definately visit is Chat 'n' Chill, unless you visit, you won't be able to understand how good the place is! A huge thank you to Brian and Larraine for making it the best holiday of our lives!!

My Wife and I have just return from 10 days at this property, and had a fantastic time. Quietly nestled on a beautiful white sandy beach with warm clear azure blue water, amazing.

We have vacationed in the islands for many years and Udenville was one of our best choices. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted something memorable. It was a wonderful choice. The house was immaculate and the outside areas and beach were perfect. Every thing that we needed was provided. An added bonus was having the owners nearby. It gave us a feeling if security and they provided us with valuable information on how to make our vacation enjoyable (things we wouldn't have known without their help). We rented a boat and went on excursions to other beaches and also fishing. I would recommend Udenville to all who are looking for a perfectly relaxing experience. Larraine and Brian were perfect hosts - we were unaware of their presence unless we needed their help. We are looking forward to many return visits. Chris and Bill , Cape May, New Jersey

Somos una familia con dos hijas de 6 y 8 años, y siempre hemos realizado viajes con múltiples destinos con estancias no superiores a 8 dias en cada lugar...en Udensville estuvimos 25 dias este agosto!!! y la experiencia ha sido increíble, no solo por la incomparable belleza de exumas y sus playas, si no porque en ningún lugar de los que hemos estado de vacaciones nos hemos sentido tan a gusto como en Udensville. Brian & Loarraine son unos anfritiones perfectos, muy amables y siempre atentos a cualquiera de nuestras necesidades, sinceramente creemos haber ganado unos buenos amigos a los cuales esperamos ver pronto de nuevo.
Respecto a Udensville, que podemos decir... es como estar un tu propio hogar, todo perfecto y limpio. La cocina amplia y completamente equipada, las dos habitaciones espaciosas y luminosas y un magnífico salón con acceso a una gran terraza y gazebo para disfrutar de unas increibles vistas a Tar Bay con una de las mejores playas de Great Exuma.

Not only were we lucky enough to stay at Udensville but also experience their daugthers beauitful wedding of which made this experience even more spectacular! We stayed in the flat below Brain and Larraine who were excellent hosts and a plesure to share our holiday with. Nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge of the island and places to see and things to do were second to none. The flat was clean and well maintained with all the amenities that you require on holiday. The icing on the cake being the beautiful view you wake up to every morning and a beach that is pretty much your own. With Geogretown only down the road and local shops like Smittys lining the main road that runs through the island it is easy to cater for yourselves.We visited a variation of restaurants on our holiday of which all were lovley and the food delicious. One trip that is a must is a boat trip across to Stockholm Island for a hogs roast at Chat and Chill on Sundays! If any of your holiday party enjoy a spot of fishing this is a paradise for them with the chance of catching anything huge like a shark as we did! We would love to return to Udensville in the future and would recommend this as a once in a lifetime experience to all. Thank you once again to Brian and Larraine for having us!
