The two weeks that we spent in your Condo in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were very nice and the location was ideal for all parts of the island. We can't wait to come back. We also thank you for your personal attention on the night of our arrival--you went above and beyond!

Dan was extremely pleasant and great to work with. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was excellent as it was equall distance with pretty much everything on the island. We will definitely consider staying there again on our next visit.

Some friends and I decided to go on vacation to Hawaii this year, and coming across the "HomeAway" site was perhaps the greatest thing that happened to us. We decided to stay at the Luana Kai condo in Kehei and had an absolutely incredible time. From the moment we walked into the condo we were blown away at how beautiful, clean and convenient it was. We could not believe how they had thought about every little detail, absolutely everything you could ever need was thought about and provided -from random cooking spices to a cooler to take packed lunches in. The ocean front view was breathtaking, the location was conveniently located between Lahaina and Wailea (two great cities), and only 20 minutes the airport, and within walking distance of the local Starbucks (a long walk, but seriously your in Maui so enjoy it.)
It was an added bonus to have a plethora of t.v channels, a refreshing air cooling system, and a keypad system instead of your traditional key -so you don't have to worry about losing the key.
Overall, I would recommend this condo to anyone, the price was unreal for the stay, and honestly, I would say its comparable to a four star hotel. I definitely plan on staying there again.

Conveniently located in a great resort complex!

Our family stayed here(my husband and I, our kids-ages 7 and 9, and my mother-in-law) in July for 2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed the resort. It was well-maintained and very attractive. The pool area was fantastic for us as we are big barbecuers and love the pool! Our kids loved jumping in the pool as soon as they were done eating and we loved that we could cook and keep an eye on them at the same time. The condo itself had a beautiful view and used the lanai regularly, morning and after the kids were in bed. It was stocked with pretty much everything you need. Beds were super comfy and with the a/c it made for a great nights sleep. Climbing the stairs to the third floor eased our guilt after having spent the after noon laying in the sun. The area in which the condo is located is perfect. Centrally located, we were able to branch off to different areas of the island quite easily. The one thing lacking was the beach. It was really not swimmable especially with kids, and our kids are not picky about water. Overall, I would definately go back or recommend this condo to friends and family. Mahalo!

We had an incredible stay on Maui!
This beautifully remodeled, spacious condo overlooks the beach, and is centrally located for great day trips up to the crater, easy drives down to LaPerouse Bay, Makena, Lahaina, Ka'anapali - - all around both sides of Maui!
The property is well maintained and a comfortable retreat after running around all day. The housekeeper was also a wonderful source of ideas and suggestions for making the most of our visit.
We grilled dinner by the pool several nights, meeting other travelers and enjoying stories of their adventures.
We look forward to returning here on our next visit to Maui!

Dan, what can we say about our first trip to Maui but Thank You. From the view, to the location, the beds and ALL the amenities of your unit we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Oh and did we mention the Landscaping and Grounds of the complex? The tikki torches around the pool are a great tropical touch.
Being rookies the location was perfect for seeing the whole island. it gave us time each day to do a new adventure and still be home in time to see an amazing sunset! We really enjoyed the food at Stella Blues too! And the poolside BBQ's were great for us while the kids played. Again...thanks for the use of your home! We will be back! Don and Connie

We just returned from another amazing visit to Maui- and stayed again at this unit at the Luana Kai. The condo was just great: beautiful views, and right in Kihei which is centrally located on the island. The condo worked out very well for us: the beds are super comfy, the lanai had the best sunset view, and we loved the pool and bbq areas as well! Thanks so much for providing us with a beautiful place to stay as we enjoyed and explored Maui! Hopefully we'll be back again next year(if not sooner!)

We had an amazing time in Maui. And, staying at your place was a great time. The pillows and the Beds were an unexpected treat! The unit is beautiful and the views breathtaking. The condo is taken well care of and Kathy the housekeeper made our departure easy. Thank you! Thank you Dan for all your suggestions for our stay. We will be back!

Unit was clean and as shown in listing pictures. Unit is a third floor walk up building (no elevator). Unfortunately we did not know till we arrived that there was only wind surfing from the beach in front of the condo. Closest swimming beach was 2mi away. Wireless internet did not work in the room, the equipment for the whole building is missing. Phoned tech support he said he would install the missing equipment the next day (2nd day of our vacation) 14 days later still no internet. Had to go sit on the steps at the front office to get access, was a good connection, but at night the cockaroaches like the computer screne, lol.
Best place to get groceries was the FoodLand, great selection, and good prices & discounts. Best restaurant in Kehie would have to be Pitas in Paradise, afordable, filling, and very tasty. It's across the street from Foodland in the complex with the BBQ Bar. If in Lahania check out the Kobe Steak House, or in Maalaea Harbor check out Buzz's Warf best clam chowder I've ever had, they also have thier own farmed shrimp that taste like lobster.
We had an awesome vacation and I would definetly recomend this property. Just make sure that if you are going to Maui on vacation you rent a car, there is so much to see and do and not alot of public transportation or tours with transportation.
