Great house, great value and close to everything!

Review Submitted: October 11, 2007 Date of Stay: September 2007
This house was perfect for our family and very close to everything. With a big family,we really needed space that was affordable, nice and comfortable. This house is really a great deal. No hotel could match neither the space nor the price. And the views are great. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We recently stayed at Casa del Cielo for two weeks over the summer. We originally picked this home because it fit our family for a low price, but were not expecting much. To our pleasant surprise, the home is everything it promised and more. It was the perfect size for a family of six. The home is large, clean and warmly decorated. We were very happy to discover many conveniences throughout the house. It has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We very much enjoyed sitting on the deck to watch the Sedona Red Rocks. Every hour of the day the view offered many colors--from Sunrise to Sunset. A nice surprise was the abundance of birds that can been seen from the deck. We saw quail, hummingbirds, roadrunners and other bird species we had never seen. The distance from the home to Sedona is very short and even shorter to all the other attractions. We highly recommend this home. Your really get more bang for your buck. We have friends who met us for a few days and their cheap 2-star hotel in Sedona (where they only got one room!) cost them more than than this home. Not to mention the horrible traffic caused by current road repairs in Sedona. They were not happy. We had a better view of the Red Rocks and only minutes away from everything. My wife and I are already planning on coming back!

Great Vacation Home

Review Submitted: March 16, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
As this was our first time renting a home for vacation we were pleasantly surprised. The home was everything it was depicted as. Spacious, clean, close to shopping, 20 min. from Sedona, with great views. The owners were a delight to deal with and were very accomodating. I would highly reccomend this property and hope to use it again in the future.

Large comfortable house

Ayako Pasadena, CA
Review Submitted: February 7, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We invited our parents from Japan and had trip from LA. We stayed 1 week at cottonwood. Each room is much larger than I expected from rental fee. House is not brand new but very clean and comfortable. My little son was so exited when he found boad game collections. The drive way to Sedona down town was exellent. Our family and parents enjoyed great time at there.

Christmas in Cottonwood

Casa del Cielo turned out to be a perfect place to stay for our family of five during Christmas break. The descriptions and photos depicted on the web site were quite accurate. We found the property to be very clean and well maintained - a great value!
The location was perfect, close enough to downtown Sedona (20 minute drive) without the price tag. I would highly reccomend this property for folks looking to visit the beautiful red rock valley.

PERFECTION!

Absolutely delightful home - everything you could want in a vacation home and more. Spacious, clean and comfortable. I can't think of a single way the owners could have made it better. There was plenty of room and privacy for 6 adults and the views are breathtaking. Because it is centrally located between Jerome and Sedona, it is a quick trip to both areas. We only spent a weekend, but I hope we can spend a week or 2 on the future. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone as a great place to spend a vacation.

AMAZING Accomodations!

Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your home...the place was fantastic! For somebody traveling to Sedona/Flagstaff/Phoenix/Grand Canyon, your place was definitely a good hub to be in. We enjoyed the spaciousness of your place along with the dramatic mountain views from your back deck. I don't think we could have stayed in a more acomodating place! I will for sure recommend your place to any friends, relatives, or co-workers that plan on visiting Arizona in the future. We had lots a fun!

Comfortable and beautiful view

Sedona is not very far away from Cottonwood - about 20 minutes. And, I would highly suggest this town and house. Sedona's main street area can be quite crowded during the day and if you are staying at a hotel near this area, it doesn't feel as secluded and private. So on top of the location of this house, the house was just wonderful. We had 3 people staying, including my mother-in-law and we just had alot of room to spread out. In the morning while you have your cup of cofee, you can look out the back and see gorgeous mountains, hot-air balloons and hummingbirds diving after each other. It is a spectacular sight!

Great place to vacation with friends and family

Review Submitted: September 17, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We (family with two teenage boys) stayed at Casa del Cielo with our good friends (family of 6) this summer. We couldn’t ask for a better place to visit, explore, and relax. The house is wonderful and contains everything you’d ever need to feel at home (much more than other homes we vacationed in). We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the spectacular view – watching the occasional summer storm quickly go by. We visited so many great places – both half-day and full day trips including Jerome, Indian ruins, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona (eat at Wildflower – the best banana pancakes we’ve tasted), local winery, Cathedral Rock and we even went to the Grand Canyon for a night. We combined these adventures with visiting, playing games, watching movies, cooking homemade meals and sleeping in. We definitely recommend this lovely home and hope to visit again soon.

Arizona Gem

Relaxation Seeker Covina, California
Review Submitted: August 30, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
This home is very comfortable and roomy, centrally located, and minutes from many sites. It was nice to come home from a day of sight seeing and have all the amenities available to us. Relaxing on the patio and enjoying the wonderful view was the best part. Early in the morning we could see the hot air balloons in the horizon, or a rainbow after the rain. It is truly a place you can relax and clear your mind of all the hustle and bustle of city living. We will definately consider this home in the future and recommend it highly.
