What a great stay!

We have been here in Aug 07 and Aug 09! This is a wonderful cottage, and the dog even got to go! The kids love the upstairs, and we like the lower level! The cottage is home, comfortable, and always clean. Jim and Eleni are awesome, and such wonderful people! They were always welcoming, and even liked the dog! We want to come back and will!

Relax!!

Review Submitted: July 28, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My family has been renting cabins at Tappan Lake for over 50 years. I feel I grew up in the area and Deersville has always been the town I would love to retire to. Flemings cabin far exceeded my expectations as far as being able to unwind and regroup. A special bonus was the bluegills in the pond which averaged one pound.
If you need a prescription to relax, this is it, and the only side effects are a constant smile and reconnecting with Mother Earth.

A great place

This was a great place for my family and the kids, we all enjoyed the deers, lighting bugs, and the peaceful area. The kids enjoyed it so much that they didn't want to come back home. It's a wonderful place to go and relax, it's a great place for the kids to run around the back yard, as big as it is. My family and I loved it so much we're planning to go back for the winter to see the snow and enjoy that big big yard again. I hope to see you and this beautiful cottage again.....God Bless....Betsy and Family

Deersville Cottage

Review Submitted: January 10, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We thought this cottage was very comfortable. All the amenities were there so that you really didn't have to leave if you didn't want to. The property was very nice to walk with our dog even though it was winter and cold. It is close to lakes and Amish country and you can find plenty to do if you are so inclined. We enjoyed the relaxation and solitude. The price was also very reasonable. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.

It was a 10!

The Deersville cabin was more than a 5 (excellent). It was better than the owners describe. Mary does a great job on cleaning and maintenance Lots of newer appliances. All kinds of games and things to do for kids (and adults) of all ages. Lots of VCR titles to choose from for the rainy (or snowy) days. The upstairs bedroom is huge with lots of room for kids to play and watch movies. We highly recommend this place and hope to get back in the summer. (Our stay in December included a beautiful snow with deer in the backyard.)

Deersville Cottage

Wildflower Richfield, Ohio
Review Submitted: September 9, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
I loved the property, it was gorgeous. The walk to the pond can be very trying, not recommended for the elderly or anyone with disabilities. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. The driveway is a challenge, no matter how much we tried to pull out carefully it totally scraped the bottom of my car. It definitely needs to be grated and leveled. But the grounds were beautiful, so many butterflies, birds and the deer in the morning. The stars at night looked like a planitarium. I would go back.

Stop looking around for a place to getaway and have rest and relaxation - you've found it! I had no idea how much I needed to download until I came back from vacation and was told so many times how relaxed and happy I looked. Take the dog, take someone you love, take a dear friend, or some who is both! Just go. I hope to return in the future so take good care while you're there!

This was the cutest little cottage, conveniant to the local store and to the surrounding lakes. We did go during the colder weather but still enjoyed it very much. We are looking forward to visiting again. Great Place!
