wonderful summer holidays in sabaudia

We can strongly recommend a holiday in Sabaudia. We enjoyed the 2 weeks we (two adults and two small children) spent at the house. The house has all facilities you need to have a great holiday including airco (recommended). The garden too is really nice with lots of flowers and bushes and palm trees.

The owner, Vincenzo, is very nice and helpful! Everything went smoothly, all the way from first email queries of the house, to actually being at the house.

Sabaudia is a nice small town, and the wide beach with white sand is one of the best beaches we ever seen! Even in the weekends the beaches were not crowded.

A few small tips though:
- the beach is too far to walk with small children, take your (rental) car (parking fee EUR 1 p/hour) or bikes;
- Sabaudia town centre is too far to walk, take also your car or bikes.
- very few people speak english, so try to learn a little italian.

Near by is Ser Jeek and Zeffiro restaurants - pls try them -we liked them a lot.

There are various nice trips to make from Sabaudia of which Rome (1.5 hours by car) and Pompeii (2.5 hours by car) are the best.

Sabaudia is a nice small town, and the beach is fantastic. So many miles of white sand and the great Mediterranean sea.

A few small tips though:
very few people speak english, so try to learn a little italian (we did - and that helped us a lot) before your trip.

Near by is Ser Jeek and Zeffiro restaurants - pls try them -we liked them a lot.
But we cannot recommend La Capricciosa... we were treated very unfriendly + we had to wait more than 1 hour for the first plate (though other tables got theirs in normal 10 minutes) + we got 1 small plate for 2 + the plate was not what we ordered + we got charged extra... and brushed off. We are happy that all other places were great + friendly.

The other neighbour of the house was surprisingly loud (TV, arguments, shouting, walking the stone-stairs with loud shoes / high heels for hours ... at night) but the nice renter of our house promised to talk to them, so I am sure this is not a problem further on. We should have said something earlier.

We recommend you to visit Sabaudia and rent this really nice house!

Really enjoyed our stay here. owner very helpful.very clean and well maintained. Car needed to get to beach/ shops etc. Pizzeria nearby very good. The house is ideally placed for anyone like ourselves who wish to use it as a base to visit Rome, Pompeii, Sezze, Bassiano etc.
we would recommend it to friends.

Very enjoyable stay in a large, accommodating house close to the Mediterranean. The property was charming, the house very clean, well-maintained, and matched the description perfectly. We received excellent customer service upon arrival and felt very comfortable and welcome during our entire stay. The beach nearby was cleaner and nicer than any on the coast that we experienced, and we found the town of Sabaudia to be relaxing and down-to-earth. The nearby towns between Sabaudia, Terracina, and Gaeta were lovely to tour through and within easy reach by car. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys relaxing on the beach, touring the countryside, and returning to a lovely private home in the evening.

We stayed at this property in June 2007. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from corresponding with the home owner at time of rental through the stay. The owner was available for any question and was very responsive. The home had internet connection and cable tv. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and you will love evening walks with the smell of flowers drifting through the air. O would highly recommend the home to a friend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Saboudia. The well maintained property had modern ammeneties and provided plenty of room for the four of us. Our teenage son enjoyed having sky television. The lovely garden was a great place to relax in. The owner was very helpful, providing us with information on beaches and good restaurants. A car was necessary when staying here as the villa was quite a bit away from the beach and shops / supermarkets, although there were one or two restaurants within walking distance.
I would recommend this property to families and groups of friends ( with a car).

Comfortable and well situated on the edge of Sabaudia in a well maintained residential area. Description and layout was clear and accurate and the only difference from details on the website was that the air conditioning was not available. The owner was helpful and welcoming and the area was great.
