Dream location near the train! Stylish flat!

HelloNice! United States
Review Submitted: October 2, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Stayed 5 nights this past August on a trip to see the south of France before heading to Corsica. We used Nice as a "home base" and this was the perfect apartment to call "home". Not only did it feel freshly renovated, clean and stylish, the location and proximity to the train station and late-night Monoprix for groceries helped us handle a busy schedule of sight seeing along the coast on a budget. We found the apartment to be quiet, even when the windows were open. And we loved all of the amenities, including TV, DVD and internet. We couldn't have asked for more!
Owner's Response: I would like to thank you for the very kind review and look forward to hearing from you somepoint in the future - and if you do pass via the UK make sure you get in-touch.

Fantastic place

Review Submitted: April 29, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
This was my 3rd time in Nice and the best place I spent my short break in South France ever. The apartment is very stylish, beautiful and comfortable and has got a great view to the old church. It is perfectly located in the city center close to the sea, the old town (15 min walking) and to numerous shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.
Owner's Response: The great feed back is very much appreciated. Yes Nice is a special place and I'm very pleased you liked the apartment.

Very nicely presented apartment that makes for a really comfortable and relaxing city break or longer stay. The place is really light and airy and in a great location for transport links, the old town and the beach. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment for a perfect getaway

I had never been to Nice before and on arrival I was pleasantly suprised at how 'airy' and comfortable the apartment was. The decor is modern and the facilities perfect with minimum fuss. The kitchenette area is a temptation for cooking up your favourite dishes but nearby shops and eating places are also too good to be missed.

The apartment is situated completely in the centre of all the hustle and bustle. These are fantastic shops right along the short walk to the beach. I took my 3 young girls along and they utterly had a fab time. We even travelled to
Cannes. I find Nice a very safe city to travel and practical.
There is so much to do , lots of inspiration about, I simply love the place.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. Just to let you know the bus station is also next to the train station which is less than a five minute walk away. There is also a bus staion near the old town which is about a 10 minute walk away. There is also a tram service stop approximately 50 metres from the apartment. Look forward to hearing from you again.

Home away from home

I stayed at this fabulous apartment for one month from Nov.-Dec./08. The apartment was even better than described online. It was fully stocked of all the amenities I needed for the extended stay. The owner was a darling and very prompt and accommodating. His Nice associate who greeted me was very helpful despite my late arrival. Paying by PayPal was secure and made it a breeze.
The location is very convenient. There is a Monoprix a block away for groceries or you can choose from the numerous restaurants and cafes at your doorstep. You can buy fresh flowers from the Cours Saleya to fill the apartment. There's a friendly bakery just around the corner if you want to go more local. It's just a short walk to the beach and the old town. The bus station is a 10 min. walk away and services to all of the quaint towns nearby. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I would recommend this place to everyone and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Thank you so much for providing this gem of a place! It was an unforgettable stay. Peace.

Great All Round Break

Healthy Kick Edinburgh
Review Submitted: January 29, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
Just wanted to say what a fabulous time I had. I stayed for 2 weeks during August 08 and found the apartment to be perfectly located, close to the beach to top up my tan. All local ameities (shops, buses and train station) a stone throw away...I had planned to shop local for groceries and eat in but I was so spoilt for restaurants priced mega reasonably I only cooked in twice during my 2 week stay. I went to Monaco twice on the local bus, which was great and Cannes and Juan le Pins for sandy beaches.

Really cant wait to coem back and hand out with local beautiful people of the Med again!
Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review - hope to hear from you again soon.

Ideal city apartment

Coomba Norway
Review Submitted: January 27, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2008
We spent a week in this apartment last summer. It is new and clean and delicate. The living room has lovely view of Nices´s main avenue.Due to the tram line there is very little car traffic and noise rom this otherwise busy avenue.the location is great, the tram takes you to the old town in 5 minutes, from which you walk to the beach in a couple of minutes. The main railway station is only 5 minutes a way.
There are all kinds of shopping to be found literally at your doorstep.

The apartment is well equipped. The furniture is new. In the kitchen you find what you need for cooking up a meal at home.

If you want to explore Nice and the surrounding area of Southern France, this is a good basecamp!
Owner's Response: Hi - Thank you for taking time to write this review. Also just to add the old town is 10 minute walk away and on the tram I think its about 3 stops. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk.

Excellent flat to rent.

Review Submitted: June 18, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
The size and location of the flat was extremely good. As were the toilet facilities. The only thing missing was a microwave but the electric hob made up somewhat. Dishwashing needs to be manually done. The best was the ventilation and the natural lighting of the apartment. Definitely recommended for all travellers. Rupam
