The apartment is the perfect pied-a-terre from which to explore Edinburgh. You can walk anywhere from the apartment. It has every modern convenience you could wish for...fully equipped kitchen, DVD player, even books for you to read. The girls have thought of everything to make you comfortable for your stay. We would highly recommend this apartment for any couple visiting Edinburgh or exploring Scotland by daytrips.

The Story Telling apartment was a wonderful home base for our 5 day stay in Edinburgh in April 2009. Its central location on the Royal Mile enabled us to sample multiple city experiences and to also easily rest and re-group. The apartment is a gem of thoughtfully chosen delights and practical design. The living space is comfortable and welcoming and the bedroom quiet for sleeping at night. The decor and details in the apartment reflect a love of Scotland: “Fiona’s Favourites” rapidly became ours as well. When we first walked in to the sunlit rooms we knew we had stumbled into a little spot of heaven and we would love to return.

Stayed at the wonderful Storyteller Apartment for 5 nights with my husband, sister-in-law, and 6-year-old son. Fiona's touches were amazing - I especially appreciated the information let for us to make the most of our stay in Edinburgh - including things I would never have thought of - like the Farmer's Market. Also the DVDs and books for our son - such a nice thought. And - best of all, because I absolutely loved the decor - information about where to purchase the Scottish art, blankets, and pillows. Fiona's love of Scotland shows in everything she has in her apartment.

We had our family of four which includes two college age children and this place was great. Beth and Fiona had nice extra touches and the place was modern enough with old world charm and very convenient to everything.

Recently, my husband and I traveled to Scotland for holiday and were luck enough to stay at the Storytelling Apartment on the Royal Mile. The location was ideal and the owner's tips are helpful. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and we were able to cook breakfast every morning. We enjoyed sitting in the living area at night and listening to the sounds below on the Mile. One small issue for some light sleepers might be the curtains in the bedroom. They are sheer and do let in light during the evening. For us that was not an issue since we were exhuasted from our busy duys and ready to sleep. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that wants to stay on the Royal Mile.

Just a lovely apartment in a good central location with most things within walking distance. Well equipped, VERY well kept with lots of nice touches that made all the difference for a cracking weekend in Edinburgh.

Everything about our stay here was excellent. This lovely apartment is in a wonderful location, and the owners treated us with great hospitality. We'd stay again and we have already recommended it to friends and colleagues.

In two word i would describe Storytelling apartments as "Its Perfect".

A lot goes into making your holiday stay really good. It's the location , the amenities provided and the comfort of everything in a self catering apartment. What exceeded all this at story telling was the attention to detail and personal touches to everything. There were books and dvds specially kept for our kid. There was a bottle of wine with croissants and some other knick knacks so that we could have something after a tiring journey. There were instructions on all appliances kept neatly in a instruction box. Local maps, things to do, list of good restaurants and pubs around and the major attractions to fit in to ur short trip. We were amazed at the hospitality. The location was splendid bang on royal mile. We had live entertainment from people in drunken stupor till wee hours in the morning.

The apartment was fresh with new fittings and fixtures and warm with its tastefull and contemporary design. We were lucky to have booked this apartment.
