Rhiwbina Travel - Tavira Half Term 2009

Introduction - this was our second visit to Tavira Gardens. We had previously holidayed there in July 2008. Apartment - we enjoyed the apartment very much. It has virtually all the facilities that you will need for an enjoyable break and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We feel that the description (above) was accurate & certainly covers all that you need to know. The apartment was both clean and well maintained and we found the owners to be both friendly & efficient.
Tavira - is a really nice traditional Portugese town which has just acquired a brand new shopping centre (including a food court) within walking distance. There is also a medium sized supermarket (Mini Preco) within 250 yards. Our favourite restaurant in town was Brisa do Rio (see tripadvisor). TG/the town was much quieter than when we prev. visited but then again it was October!
Weather - excellent. Largely cloudless skies - mid 20-24C. Around 17-19C in the early evening.
Internet - Wifi available in the TG restaurant. You will need a password, but buy a coffee and you can surf in the sun/shade. Free Wifi also available @ the new Gran Plaza shopping centre.
Car - probably get away without a car, but we tend to like the flexibility which car hire brings.

Emma & Sergios apartment was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities you could wish for for a self catering apartment. A real home from home!
Tavira Gardens itself was very clean and the pool complex was very clean and was cleaned throughout the day by a pool attendant/ life guard.
Tavira was a lovely place in itself which came alive at night, but was also within easy reach of the west side of the Algarve for those who wish to explore.
Overall a very enjoyable two weeks was had with fabulous weather!

The apartment is clean and very nice. The place where it is, is perfect. Tavira is a nice place, not to big. The beach was perfect

It was a very nice and beautiful place to stay. Everything was in the really clean apartment and in the surrounding. We didn't hear the cars on the N125. In Tavira and little towns in the near of Tavira, you can eat and not expensive. Tavira is a lovely little town. When you want to go to Spain ( Sevilla and surrounding) that is perfect form Tavira. I recommend the apartment to friends and we are certainly coming back.

We'd visited Tavira several times previously, so were looking forward to visiting the lovely town and enjoying the beach again.
This is a great apartment - just as described - it's nicely furnished and well equipped. The complex (in mid-June 2008) was very pleasant and quiet. We had the pool to ourselves a couple of times.
The apartment is child-friendly; there's a playground and a paddling and children's pool, as well as the separate main pool area. There's a supermarket just down the road, but you do need a car to get around easily if you have young children or are less mobile.
Sergio and Emma were very helpful - no hassles over payment, contract etc.

This spacious two bedroomed apartment in Tavira is exceptional, not only value for money but clean, well presented and in an extremely well position in the Algarve.
Tavira town is beautiful and well worth a look around, the apartment is modern and can sleep up to 6 people very comfortably. all mod cons included. and highly recommended by the Rhodes Family.
