Fabulous apartment in Budapest

Absolutely perfect - that is all I can say. The flat is located very central in the city of Budapest in a nice, historical street. The rooms itself a very stylish, new, clean and modern furnishted and equiped. Also perfect: just around the corner is a supermarked.
Correspondence and handling etc. with the owner of the flat was very easy and convenient.
We were there with 5 persons for a long week-end and can recommend the location to a 100%.

as a home away from home. Great area to stay in! We especially appreciated the location, the Metro just a few meters away, and so easy to find your way around. Wandering the Andreassy Avenue was a treat in itself. A plus to the owner for doing the best to make us feel comfortable and welcome, allowing us to ask for information during our stay. The apartment contained everything we needed, to make ourselves comfortable. So good to come back after a long day of sightseeing, relaxing in the livingroom, or visiting the restaurant just around the corner.
We will abselutely recommend this as a great place to stay for 2 couples or as a family.

We rented the apartment for our stay during the Sziget festival and it was to prove the ideal retreat for rest and recouperation in between trips to the festival site.
Four of us stayed in the apartment very comfortably indeed, we were very impressed at the very high standard of decoration, furnishings and the way that the apartment was stocked with all the essentials. I'd not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a central location in Budapest.

We stayed in the appartment for 9 days. We had a great time. The apparment is very spacious even if you are with 6 persons. The apparment is airconditioned and has 2 bathrooms. Everything is there such as towels etc. The apparment is close to a metro station and you are in a good neighbourhood. There are restuarants and shops nearby. A lot of curiosity such as the parlament and the St. Istavan Basiliek you can walk there from the appartment.

We really had a glimpse of the luxury life in down town Budapest in this apartment. We were a whole family from Norway, with mother, father and 3 grown up “children”, 17, 20 and 23.
The apartment is very good for such groups, or for up to 3 couples travelling together. Our stay here in these luxurious surroundings was cheaper than staying in a middle class hotel for all five of us.
There is space enough, and the young people also felt they could have freedom and independence they wanted, also within the rooms.
It is very good facilities for eating and relaxing in the dining- and living-rooms.
We were impressed of the furnishing and the modern, pleasant style in the apartment.
The descriptions regarding the location, layout, facilities was all together good, very accurate and with all the details needed.
The property was very well cleaned and well-maintained, the dishwasher didn’t work at the time, but we new that before we came, and it will be repaired. The owner provided a very good customer service both when we were there, and before and after.
The style and standard of the stairway and entrance is not bad, and should not scare anyone.
The apartment and the surroundings are just perfect for a stay in a big city, and it’s just a pleasure to go downstairs and a few meters along the Andrassy street to the very good store where you can buy all you need for a good self made breakfast or lunch with enough of delicious Hungarian food. And the choice of restaurants around is just unlimited, and when you then have the opera next door, everything should be set for a pleasant stay.
We really recommend this apartment for others, and hope we will be able to get back there again some time.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Rathcolla apartment. Location wise, we can not think of a better location. We were able to walk with three small kids to virtually all "tourist" areas, several small grocery stores are within a block, many outdoor cafes can be found in any direction, and the shopping is incredible if you like top designer brands. With the Opera House right next door, we could even listen to the Opera without being "at the Opera". The apartment itself is wonderful. The rooms are large, well lit, and all furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with all modern appliances, pots&pans, plates, cups, etc. so we were able to eat breakfast each day at the apartment and cook lunch/dinner when not out touring. The bedrooms suited our tastes great and all slept very well. The family room area is very comfortable and is set-up nicely for watching movies and/or TV on the flat-screen TV. The wireless internet worked great during our entire visit. We would highly recommend this apartment to all visitors of Budapest.

The apartment is as described and is lovely and in a great area.

I would have really appreciated some little touches though.

1) Coffee and tea bags when we arrived
2) Not such a big effort to clean when we left - felt like we had to spend a lot of time doing things the cleaner could have done

Lovely spacious, airy apartment, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Very well equipped, high-tech kitchen (three coffee makers and a tea pot!) and luxurious bathrooms all immaculately clean. The location couldn't be better. The apartment is on the classiest avenue in Budapest and the apartment is right on the classiest stretch. All the sights are within pleasant walking distance and there is a small 24 hour supermarket on the next corner for fresh milk, bread, groceries etc

Local restaurants we enjoyed; Klassz - great atmosphere, good food, fantastic wine. Always busy and they don't take bookings but it's worth the wait if they don't have a table. Goa is also very good. The Muvesz cafe oozes traditional Hungarian splendour and is right opposite the apartment.

The owner is very friendly and helpful was able to arrange local help when needed. We thouroughly recommend this apartment - it would be hard to beat for quality, style and location.
