Beachfront Bliss lives up to its name!!

Beachfront Bliss truly lives up to its name. The view from the large picture window is glorious (in all weathers!) and despite the size (“compact and bijoux”) the apartment contains all that you need and more. Ingenious use of space means that no corner is left unutilised and something needs to be said for how comfortable the pull-down double bed is! It neatly folds away during the day, magically turning the apartment from luxury bedroom into luxury lounge. The corner kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked a full meal on more than one occasion – a welcome alternative to eating out every night and something you would not be able to do in a regular hotel room! My husband and I spent a wonderful week here in November 2008 and could not have been made more welcome by Shelley, the owner. The bathroom (check out the great shower!) was stocked with luxury products and the fridge a bottle of chilled wine. Villefranche itself is a quaint little town packed with amenities. It’s restful and a perfect “get away from it all” kind of place but at the same time a stone’s throw from Nice, Monaco and many other major attractions – all of which are easily and cheaply accessible by train (the station is just behind the apartment). We would happily return to Beachfront Bliss in a flash!!

My daughter and I stayed at Beachfront bliss for one week in August 2009. The studio is beautiful, so tastefully decorated and the extras that are provided make this place stand out from any other we have rented. The views from the window are truly amazing and the location is perfect. Shelley was there to meet us on arrival and a bottle of wine was chilling in the fridge. We had a wonderful time in Beachfront bliss and can not wait to return next year! Thank you Shelley!

My husband and I stayed at Beachfront Bliss for New Year this year. Between booking the apartment and our arrival Shelly was extremely helpful with local information and advice. When we arrived in Villfranche Shelly was there to greet us and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Beachfront Bliss is a studio apartment and we were a little worried about the size before arriving but it is so well thought out and has such a high standard of finish that we felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel room but with the freedom of cooking for ourselves. The views are breathtaking from the huge window, it is such a great space. The pull down bed was fabulous and very very comfortable. We would love to stay there again and will without hesitation be trying to book for this New Year.

It's hard to believe that we approaching the end of our travels. We would like to thank you again for our most enjoyable week in your Beachside Bliss apartment in Villefranche sur Mer. As you are aware Villefranche is one of our favourite holiday spots in the world. While it easily accessible by train to all of the French Riviera towns and cities, the Villefranche lifestyle is very relaxed, the locals friendly and there are great restaurants that don't cost the earth.
The Beachside Bliss studio while quite small is surprisingly roomy to live in due to the innovative and modern furniture and fittings. We prefer to stay in self contained accommodation so that we shop for and cook the wonderful French food that is available and not always have to go out to eat. The Beachfront Bliss kitchen was excellent as were all of the other facilities from the air conditioning to the free internet access.
Thank you again for your personal service that also contributed to making our holiday at Villefranche extra special.
We look forward to staying at Beachside Bliss again in the not too distant future.

Both Joan and I want to express our delight and pass on our thanks to you for a most wonderful stay at your apartment.
Beachfront Bliss certainly lived up to its name. Small but perfectly formed, as the saying goes. Beautifully situated right on the waterfront, the apartment was obviously recently renovated and well equipped with stylish and modern facilities. And the view – WOW!
The large window fronting the harbour of Villefranche and looking directly out at the Med and over to the prestigious Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, gave us many hours of wonderful viewing of the ever changing and yet peaceful millionaires’ yachts, motorboats and cruise ships as they went about their business (but mostly pleasure!)
We loved Villefranche itself. It’s a real jewel – small and intimate with the old fishing town and port, ancient fort and dry dock plus all modern conveniences. We found the train and bus stops convenient for visits to Nice, Antibes, Monaco and further afield. Lots of restaurants, but who needs them? We chose alfresco lunches by the window with baguette, cheese, pate and a bottle of Rose – every day - and pasta is easy to throw together in the functional kitchen.
Beachfront Bliss gets top marks from us as it had everything we appreciate.
We were glad to arrive, delighted to stay and sad to leave. In fact, we really think it should be a secret!
Thank you for your gracious and accommodating assistance in settling us in. It was most helpful to be informed of the shop trading hours, closest boulangerie, best way to get to Nice etc. – it helped us a lot in our planning.

Fantastic Apartment

My family (2 adults and one 4 year old) recently had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful apartment. Even though it is a studio we had plenty of room. To compare, we spent the last night of our trip in Nice at the Le Meridien and could barely fit. This apartment easily accomdated all of us. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and made for an easy nights sleep. The room had everything we could have needed and more. Everything was quality, the hand soap, sheets, bed, kitchen knives and the fastest stove I have every used.
The location of the apartment was a huge bonus. I hadn't expected it to be as close to the swimming beach as you can get. My 4 year old loved this convience (and so did Mom and Dad). It was also very close to the electric train and not far from a bus stop which made it easy for sight seeing the other neighboring towns.
The owner was wonderful. She arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport as we had flown all night and didn't arrive till the evening. She had also offered to pick up some groceries for us knowing we had a 4 year old who might be hungry when she arrived.
There were plenty of restaurants near by. Some were very expensive but we took the suggestions of the owner and went to Nice to Olivera for dinner and had one of the best meals of the entire trip. We went back there for our last night, for a final taste of the French Riviera.
I can't recommend this apartment enough.
