This is a lovely apartment in a great area. Robbie and Isabel couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and everything we could have wanted was provided for. We would definitely recommend staying at Alegria

Alegria is perfect for a family holiday away from the noisy main apartments. It is an excellent apartment with great access to beaches, pool, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, markets and all the things you need for a super holiday. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. It is extremely safe and child friendly. A must for all families for a quiet getaway.

a really lovely apartment. You need to hire acar to get from the airport to the apartment and also to get to the numerous lovely beaches. In the evenings we tended to drive downtown for dinner but there are restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is also a barbeque with the property so you can dine alfresco.well equipped throughout including parasol and beach chairs and even a coolbag for beach picnics.just arrive with your cases and its ahome from home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this attractive and well equiped apartment. The friendly neighbours, sunny patio and nearby pool added to our enjoyment. We made good use of our hire car for days out at several different beaches that were all within easy driving distance. The market at San Miguel was worth a visit, although we bought most of our groceries at the Mercadona close to the apartment. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the apartment. As the kitchen was so well equiped we were able to enjoy our own cooking too. We really appreciated the efforts made by the owner to ensure that the apartment was comfortable and had a travel cot, high chair and various toys in time for our stay.

One of the most relaxing times of my life

This property was amazing, it had all the amenities that we were looking for at a more than fare price. Both the apartment and pool area wereimmaculately clean. The apartment was stocked with all the things that you would need so you can travel light. e.g. towels, dishes, beach umbrella, etc... It is just 5 minutes from amazing beaches and the sun shone every day that we were there. There is a kitchen and BBQ that are well stocked with utencils if you prefer to eat in, but there are amazing resturants within walking distance and many many more just 5 minutes way by car. There is this amazing Greek restaruant very close to the apartment that has the most wonderful salads and burgers for about 7 dollars and they have 90cent beers all day till like 7, and if you go for dinner they give you a free bottle of wine with purchase of two entrees. For families, there is this really fun go karting/restaruant/game room place within about five minutes of the apartment and is on the way back from the beach, a great place to grab some food and wrap up the day with some night time fun. For you adults, there is this awsome little bar that is at the bottom the hill within walking distance called the priory. It is really great, they have live music and a great atmoshphere, both young and old mix for drinks and dancing till early in the morning, we had a lot of fun there. Next to this pub is an amazing restaruant, ant remember the name but it is a great place to have dinner before making the rounds at the pubs. A word of warning though, the entrees are so big that you will probably only want to order one unluss you like carrying a box of fish around with you the rest of the night. I was unable to get wireless internet there, I couldnt find an unsecured network, however there is an internet cafe about 3 minutes away. Another great thing i that even iif you dont speak spanish it is okay, everybody speaks english. The apartment was easy to find and it was simple to follow the maps from the apartment to anywhere we wanted to go. I will definetely be returning there next year for some fun in the sun.

Tranquility

My stay in Alegria was a most relaxing experience in the most comfortable of surroundings. The apartment was clean and welcoming and offered all the home comforts I could have asked for (and more besides). The sun graced the patio from early morning until late evening where I was able to sit and read, or lounge and sleep, and the swimming pool provided the perfect refreshing contrast when I wanted to cool down. The nearby supermarket and well equipped kitchen encouraged me to do plenty of cooking 'at home', and there were also good choices for eating out at several different types of restaurants, all within walking distance of the apartment. I hired a car for some of my stay which allowed me to travel easily to the nearby beaches and market, and to explore further along the coast and a little bit more inland. There was a lot of information provided in the apartment about options for all types of activities and day trips, and If I had been staying longer I would have been very interested in taking part in some of these. My stay in Alegria gave me some much needed tranquility and I would happily recommend it to others.

what a fantastically equipped property! comfortable beds, great bathroom, fullly equipped kitchen, south facing patio ,home from home! quiet residential area but within walking distance of shops and restuarants. pool was right next to apartment. nice sandy beaches nearby but car definately needed to get to them and to sight see the wonderful towns inland.carthagena only 25 miles on dual carriage way & had fantastic roman ruins and museums.parc calblanque in the same corner was beautiful unspoilt coastline. we will go back to explore the area further, was easy to pick up hire car and drive from alicante and we appreciated being met nearby and driven to the property as we arrived late at night. This is an excellent place to chill out. An immaculate appartment that feels bigger and more spacious. Very well equipped and easy to follow instructions and useful tips.Lovely to sit outside and eat with just the noises of the evening and a lot of laughter from us.
Although it rained - sporadically we found time to visit the fantastic outdoor market and pick up some quality stuff, swim in one of the gorgeous beaches and devour a delicious paella in a hidden away hillside restaurant. The swimming pool is literally a step away and bigger than we thought.
You do need a car to get around further a field, though it is easy and quite cheap to hire.
A great place to hang out.. . . we'll be back:)

Beautiful, homey apartment!

What a great little place to stay when you visit the Costa Blanca! It's convenient - loads of nearby restaurants, an internet cafe around the corner and a grocery store less than 5 minutes' walk. The clothes washer, darling kitchen, comfy furniture, cozy atmosphere and REALLY comfortable beds make it a great home away from home. Privacy, yet with friendly neighbors. The darling patio serves as a great place for appetizers in the evening or for breakfast in the morning. I loved the convenience of the pool right around the corner for a morning swim. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

The weather was great and the beaches in the area are good. The apartment is newly built and finished to a high standard. It requires a car to be able to properly enjoy the area. For a holiday of sun, sea and relaxation it was ideal.
