Fantastic holiday

We spent two weeks at Blue Skies after looking at a few others on the internet, and we where not disappointed at all - such a great find ! Francine and Simon were superb hosts and couldn’t have done more to make our stay feel at home. Great apartment (we were in the 1 bedroom) – it’s really spacious and has all the mod cons you need. The pool is fab and is lit at night. We hired a jeep for a week and explored the island - got lost a number of times in those small villages which was interesting ! – you definitely need a jeep - a car will be wrecked as some of the roads aren’t great. We went on a boat trip - Mango Tango - this was great fun and also a rainforest canopy ride which was very interesting. Francine and Simon were great in being able to show us all the best places to go, and when we had to give the jeep back, being able to drop us down into Rodney bay area . Pigeon Island is a must to go and see by the way - great beach. There are some great restaurants down in the strip area - Fire Grill being our favourite. There is so much we could write as we had such a fab time ( I forgot to mention the helicopter transfer - well worth the money !) we will definitely go back again soon. St Lucia is a very lush island, so different to the others we had visited in the past - well recommended ! Thanks Francine and Simon - See you again Soon !!!

Blue Skies One Bed Apartment

Review Submitted: June 9, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Accommodation and facilities are fantastic 1st class. Simon and Francine were very kind and were always at hand to assist. You definitely need a car as property is about 20 mins walk to Reduit Beach.

Would recommend this property for couples. Would NOT recommend this property to travellers who want to have fun. We are ladies in our forties and we were treated like school children and was told off for bringing our friends from England over for a cup of coffee one sunday morning at 10;30am...... You have to ask Simon/Francine for permission to have a guest come over!

Myself and my partner Tom visited St Lucia and stayed here for a fortnight.
The owners were friendly and helpful-offering us a tour of the local area to get the most out of are stay, and were always happy to help with any queries or just to have a nice chat, while never invading our privacy.
The property was well equipped, spacious and attractive, the bed was comfy, everything was spotless new and in full working order, which I never normally find on holiday!
The pool was wonderful and they also have a hot tub/jacuzzi which was great to relax in during the evening with a glass of wine!
They knew all the good restuarants and beaches to visit and the weather was so perfect. What more could you ask for?
Highly recommended.

"The Best Family Holiday we've Had"

Review Submitted: March 10, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
This was our 2nd time to St. Lucia and we spent the second week of our holiday with Simon and Francine. Their local knowledge helped us to get to the beaches that the local people use and they were therefore less touristy which was fantastic for us. We also got to see a local cricket match because of Simon's knowledge and ability to identify our interests. They had the knack of being on hand whenever we needed them and out of sight if we were using the pool or hot tub! The accomodation was wonderful and was a very high standard. Our children are young (8 and 3) and they had a great time.

Blue Skies Everyday in St Lucia

D,M&B Edmonton, AB Canada
Review Submitted: January 2, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
Our stay at Blue Skies was perfect. Very comfortable accomodation for 3 adults with all amenities and lots of little touches to make you feel welcome and at home. Our hosts were wonderful people and most helpful in orienting us to the island and its treasures. Blue Skies is located in a quiet area within easy walking distance of Gros Islet, the marina and Rodney Bay, and is convenient to catch local transport (buses) which is cheap and efficient. The Friday night 'jump up' party in Gros Islet is loads of fun and the beaches and hiking at Pigeon Island were lovely. Hope to return some day.

This apartment is spectacular, and exceeded my expectations in everyway. I visited St Lucia in early May 2008 for a wedding. I travelled with my wife and young son (2 years old), and found the apartment extremely comfortable with everything you would want from a self catering property. The hospitality of Simon & Francine was second to none, with my wife, son & I made to feel like a part of the family. The pool was great to cool down in, and despite being in close proximity to other properties the level privacy & security is fantastic. Wholly recommend for anyone travelling to St. Lucia, whatever your purpose - whether to relax by the pool, or when looking for a more activity based holiday.

My husband and i visited St Lucia in May 08, we stayed at Blue Skies apartments the week before our wedding on nearby Pigeon island.
The apartment was beautiful, large, well equipped and the owners Francine and Simon were very helpful.
Our only regret is not spending our second week at Blue Skies, will definetly recommend this apartment to friends and family. Hope to visit this beautiful island and apartment in 2009!!
