Cotswold Lodge was the perfect setting for our family break. Nicely situated by the lake, it had everything we needed, including decking with furniture for sitting around in the sun - we were lucky enough to have perfect weather!

All the rooms were attractive, nicely sized and well-maintained and having a shower-room AND a bathroom was a definite plus.

The owner was especially helpful as we got lost on the way there, and left a couple of items behind which they safely returned!

Plenty to do if you like water-skiing and using the gym, and there's a nice little brasserie by the lake too. Even the dog had a great time.

Myself and husband just returned from this holiday in the Cotswolds and can't wait to return! First impressions of the lodge were - Wow, its lovely - with a feeling of real spaciousness and beautiful views over the lake. Spec. of the property was spot-on with everything in it just as shown in the photographs. In a great position for fishing, canoeing, cycling, riding etc. and visiting stunning villages such as Stow, Bourton on the Water, Bibury etc We all had a wonderful time, helped by the fact that the wather was really sunny nearly all week! Definitely planning on returning - the kids could hardly be dragged away. Great family holiday!

The accommodation was absolutely lovely. Everything you could wish for and the views and activities available were excellent and all within easy reach. It was a very pleasing holiday. Very relaxed and also thoroughly enjoyable can't wait to go back. All the family old and young had a fabulous time.

everything you need is near by such as shops and food.
The house was very clean and had everything you need
and the bonus was the lovely view.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they could not have been any nicer.
Coming from the states and not ever renting a house before this was a great experience and I would highly recomend it to anyone and we willl rent it again when we come back over to england.
They even put up a xmas tree for us!!

We had a fantastic stay in the Lakeside Lodge over New Year. Waking up to the frosty scene of the lake and surrounding countryside each day was a real treat, and the lodge itself is second to none that I have stayed in before.

In terms of comfort, our party of 6 adults and one child, had plenty of room to sprawl. I was also impressed with the little touches, such as the hotel-style toiletries, and essentials such as coffee, tea and bicuits. The kicthen was stocked with every pan, cup, plate and cooking utensil we could imagine a use for, and there were a number of current-issue magazines and board games for us to use.

In terms of cleanliness, we may as well have been the first visitors to stay there. Everything was pristine, which was a great comfort when taking a small child.

We have already been in touch with Sarah regarding a return visit in the summer months, and look forward to making use of the terrace and BBQ! Thanks for hosting our New Year gathering!

We went away on girlie weekend away and we were amazed at the superb accomadation and idyllic location. We arrived at night to a view of a moon-lit lake from our bedroom/living room window. absolutely amazing. In the morning the sun shone across the lake with great white swans gliding past. The lodge's facilities were like a luxury home from home. Well worth going to again and will definitely be back next year.
