Reviews of Property: Private Holiday villa in corfu, in the most exclusive part of Corfu

In the summer of 2009 we have spent at villa Kalithea for 2 weeks. My family stayed with seven persons at the villa. The villa situated at a quiet place with a splendid view at Corfu town and the coast of Corfu, both at night as by day.
Specially the swimmingpool was very popular, because the weather in August is very hot. The villa and the swimmingpool were very clean.
At Corfu there are a lot of splendid places and views to go to, it is a very beautiful island.
We all had very high expectations, but they were exceeded by the villa, the views, the delicious dinners at various restaurants and the nice people of Corfu.
We all are looking back at a very lovely holiday at Corfu.

In August 2009 we have spent 2 weeks at Villa Kalithea. We have had a wonderfull time. A tremendous view at Corfu-town and the coast of Corfu. The swimming pool was delious to stay.
The house and swimming pool were clean.

Lovely villa with fantastic views. The children (10 & 14) loved the pool as it has an interesting and unusual design (partly shallow and then drops off to a deep area). May not suit very young children ( or those with walking difficulties) as pool access is via external steps from the house. House is located up a very steep hill and driving was a bit daunting to start with - but certainly worth it for the great views.Villa is very comfortable - bedrooms on the lower floor so cool and quiet - so quiet we had to set an alarm in the mornings !

We spent 10 days in the villa, from the 15th to the 27th of July, and we absolutely loved it. The villa is spacious and the location in the hills surrounded with the olive trees is fabulous; it is quiet and peaceful, all one needs for a relaxing holiday. The pool is marvelous, and the view - even better. It is a delightful experience sitting on the terrace, watching the sea and Kerkira (Corfy) city far behind.

we had a wonderful time at the villa...we only had a week but it was perfect..the villa is very clean and homely...the views were fantastic...the villa is well worth staying at...you will need to hire a car to get to the villa and go out and about...but i can assure you that it is so relaxing and the views are wonderful that you probably wont feel like going anywhere!!! i loved it so much i want to go back already....thankyou xxxxx neil&caz

We spent May half term week at Villa Kalithea and had a wonderful time. The villa is beautifully clean and very comfortable with glorious views and a pool that we could not keep the children out of ! Although the road up to the Villa is initially challenging we managed it in a minibus and it was well worth it for the views over the bay to Corfu Town and it certainly didnt stop us getting out and about - even going to Angelocastro on the other side of the Island was less than an hours drive. Nissaki beach itself is idyllic. Having the help of an English Speaking rep was great and much appreciated although we had no difficulties with language since the Corfiates all seem to speak English and to be very friendly. In short, we had a wonderful time in a lovely lovely villa and hope we will be back !

This villa was superb. There was absolutely nothing that I would change about the property or the location. The accomodation was clean and beautifully maintained and the whole trip was faultless, from being met at the airport and having a helpful contact if needed during our stay to the absolute relaxation, peace and quiet provided by the location of the villa. A car IS essential, as stated in the advert for this property but the villa was so lovely that we spent most of the time relaxing around the pool! There were plenty of taverns, shops and beaches within the vicinity of the villa and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere relaxing to spend a holiday.

We've had a beautiful holiday at Corfu, not in the least because of the beautiful accomodation. Our rental car was waiting for us at the airport and after a short drive we arrived at Nissaki. A car is a must have for the location of the house.
Absolutely fabulous views, a very clean house and a lot of nice places to go in the area. We've enjoyed lunch at the Olive Press (Nissaki harbour), renting a boat at Agni beach and many drives along the coast and inlands. Wild flowers everywhere in May...
All in all a relaxed holiday at a lovely villa!
