Beautiful and modern apartment in Malaga

We spent some great days in this sunny apartment. Very central location, all the touristic places within a very short walk, walking distance to the beach, bus/train station, shops/supermarket. Apartment is very sunny, has all the details one needs to be comfortable and enjoy the time: even the umbrella for the beach (though we missed the bottle opener, think of it if you will be tasting great spanish wine at home:)

In total we stayed 10 days in Spain and Malaga was great starting place. If you have some time I can only suggest the day trip to Cordoba (1h by train), and don’t forget that Granada is just 1,5h drive!

We enjoyed a lot in Malaga (beaches areas, old city, other towns, etc...). Apartment was not the most important for us but this one had everything we needed for making our stay very nice and convenient. Wi fi internet access, very central location and modern decorated are things to be said here. Id recommend this apartment for couples in a romantic trip and also small groups (no more than 3, maybe 4).
Quiet area as apartment is just a few metres from main atractions but located in a residential area so no noisy.
Very convenient apartment as we felt at home

This is a very nice small apartment ideal for a couple. All of the attractions are within easy walking distance. Wifi was very useful. Samuel and Luisa are good to deal with.

Tidy compact apartment that was fine for the two of us. The owner was very helpful, and the situation was perfect for the old city, close to an excellent restaurante (Vino Mio) and not too far to walk to the beach or the bus station. The cleaning left a little to be desired upon our arrival, but to be fair, the previous occupants were late leaving. Our only quibbles were that there was no view at all, and although it was a self-catering apartment, there were few kitchen utensils - we had been hoping to make the most of the suberb fresh food available in the market, but struggled a bit because of that,- and the corkscrew was terrible! However, we had a great time; we love Malaga and this was our fourth visit, although our first self catering. We intend to return. Not reccomended for those with disabilities as it was on the second floor, with no lift.

Great Location

This apartment was great for 2 people. The location was central with all tourist locations easily walkable. All the amenities you would need were in the apartment. A great choice when staying in Malaga.

Compact but perfect!

We stayed here over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is small but contains everything needed. It is bright and airy and very modern. It is central and just 5 minutes away from a main shopping street. The location is quiet as it is away from a main road. We walked everywhere but a taxi to anywhere in the city is unlikely to set you back more than 5 euros.
Samuel was great and very friendly. There were maps and lots of leaflets in the apartment so you can plan what you want to visit in the city and beyond. The train and bus stations are next to each other, about 20 mins walk away from the apartment, and from there you can travel to just about anywhere in the region. I recommend Las Cuevas de Nerja, you can get a bus directly there and they are stunning! Make sure you get a ticket for the caves and not just Nerja though :) or you will have to get off a fair way from the caves. We travelled to Seville too, via train, but unfortunately the weather was not on our side :( and as it was Sunday, a lot of attractions were closed.
Malaga is a lovely city and a great base for travelling around the local region, and this apartment is a good value place to stay.

Food and birds

Review Submitted: November 12, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
Malaga is a very accessible city - most places are in walking distance and this flat is ideally suited to enjoy all that it has to offer: the museums and other monuments, great restaurants, tapas bars and chiringuitos. And now for bird watchers the mouth of the Guadalhorce provides an ideal area to observe local varieties and from recently erected bird-hides. All this is at just 20-25 min bus ride from the centre but do take a scope.

Apartment is near of main atractions in city center and no car is neccesary. Cathedral, Picasso Museum and "La Alcazaba" are really nice places to visit, just 5-8 minutes on foot from the apartment. It's very clean and new and design is really modern. Maybe too small for 4 persons (long stay), but perfect for 2. We've enjoyed in Malaga town but also it must be visited other nice towns close to it (Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Marbella, Nerja, etc...)

We'll come back for sure next year. Coming this summer (first August) from Italy, we are a young couple and usually travelling around Europe, and we can recommend this self apartment for everyone, specially for two who likes culture and monumental tourism but also beaches and city center life, because apartment makes you feel at home, very new, modern and confortable,we are sure we'll come back next year!!!
Location is just perfect, you can walk to every single corner in city center and shops, buses and tapas bars are around.
Owner's Response: Thank you very much, hope you have enjoyed your stay in Andalusia.
